Her photos capture the Coastal Feel with birds, wildlife, sea life and more. The partnership with her husband is both personal and professional as he has designed the creative computer software which she uses on her photos to create a Sfumato effect. The technique produces a soft transition between colors or as Leonardo DiVinci said “without line or borders, in the manner of smoke or beyond the focus plane..” The art effect is where it looks more like a watercolor and kind of romanticized.. Baker has opened a beautiful gallery in the Rockport Cultural Arts District at with her larger format art pieces and photos transformed onto practical and decorative uses as coasters, tiles, cutting boards and bedspreads. ARANSAS BAY CHALET is your get away on the bay. Located at the corner of Fulton Beach Road and Prairie Road in Fulton, Texas, the vintage dwelling quietly sits 18 feet above Aransas Bay. The acreage includes a private beach front perfect for vacationers that enjoy fishing, kayaking, picnicking, sunbathing, along with bird and dolphin watching. Early morning risers can catch a spectacular sunrise and night owls can enjoy watching the moon as it shines down on the glistening bay. These breathtaking views can be enjoyed from the private patio while sitting under the majestic leaning oak trees of Fulton. The town of Fulton, named for George Ware Fulton, began as one of the cattle distribution centers for the South Texas area. Back in the day, Prairie Road was an oyster shell path with cattle guards at each end of the street. The original structure, built nearly a century ago, was a small wooden building facing Prairie Road. Today the “chalet” welcomes a variety of visitors to the Texas Coastal Bend ranging from water sports adventurers, art enthusiasts, history buffs, orinthologists and business travelers. The word “chalet” is as diverse as our guests. The definition of a chalet varies from mountain cabins to resort-like properties located on a beach. Most interesting though, is the early European definition whereby herdsmen would bring their cattle up from the lower pastures to the mountains during the summer months. They would stay in chalets while tending to their herds. It is because of this definition that the word chalet is appropriate in describing a place in the history of Fulton, Texas, where cattle roamed freely on the Live Oak Penninsula of Aransas Bay. If your travels should lead you this way and you choose to stay at Aransas Bay Chalet, then all your troubles will float away! Please call or text 361-790-9108 or 361-727-5707 visit airbnb.com/h/aransasbaychalet for reservations. www.facebook.com/AransasBayChalet/ Page 22

ERZSEKE has been creating art for as long as she has been alive. Growing up with an artist for a mother with many artist friends such as Steve Russell, she was greatly influenced in her formative years on the importance of learning traditional art forms and expanding from that. Her mother tirelessly encouraged her to paint, however it wasn’t until her adult years after being gifted a set of acrylic paints, that her paintings evolved into colorful one of a kind masterpieces. She has always been greatly fascinated with people and their unique stories, now capturing memories in her use of mixed media, resin and brightly colored acrylic paints. Erzseke was formally trained in the Arts while attending TCU receiving a B.S. in Fashion Merchandising and a Minor in Fine Arts. She is pictured here with some paintings from her “YEE HAW” series. Let her create a custom piece for you that brings life back to a memory of a parent, relative, hero or someone who brings a smile to your face.
