Brandon Wu The Stanford alum gained attention at the 2019 U.S. Open, where he missed his graduation ceremony by virtue of making the cut, and then received his diploma on 18th green Sunday at Pebble Beach. The native of Scarsdale, N.Y., looks to be on the fast-track to Korn Ferry Tour graduation as well, with a victory at last summer’s Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United Leasing & Finance among three top-two finishes in his first 11 starts. Wu, 24, began the 202021 season with conditional status after a T61 finish at Final Stage of Q-School in December 2019, eventually earning his first start on his number at the 2020 Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper last July. He took advantage with a T9 finish to better his position in the reshuffle, and he hasn’t slowed down.
