Brooks Koepka answered a charge from Gary Woodland with a back-nine surge of his own to capture THE CJ CUP @ NINE BRIDGES. Koepka led by four strokes through 54 holes, but found himself tied after nine holes when he shot a 1-under 35 on the front nine while Woodland—who started five back—was firing a 30. Koepka blazed home from there with a 7-under 29 on the back nine. He wrapped it up in style with an eagle on the 18th hole for a four-stroke victory, but the key blows were birdies on 15 and 16. Koepka’s birdie on 15 came moments after Woodland tied it with a birdie on 16, then Koepka chipped in for a birdie on 16 when it looked like he was in danger of dropping a shot.  Koepka played the back nine in 15-under for the week, following a 36 in the first round with 32, 32 and 29.  Koepka led the field in Par 4 Scoring Average at 3.70.  Koepka ranked T5 in Putts Per Round at 28.75 and had only 11 putts on the back nine of the final round.
