2008 ROUND UP Show discounts and a thank you

ASIAN BRIDE SHOW 2009 | 07764823887

Offering all new clients pre wedding shoot in 2008

2008 PHEW...

IGIMAX VISION have had an amazing year. We were part of 25 most memorable weddings and having put on 20Kg between us, its time to shape up for the 2009 Asian Bride show.

The year started off in February at the 2008 Asian Bride show from which we managed to sign the bulk of our customers for the year. Immediately after that we were at the Porchester Hall for Anchal and Joels wedding. It was a great start to the year with the most relaxed customers we have ever worked with. The guys are such fun and we remember their wedding day with fondness. August was the mother of all wedding months where we were booked out for every Fri-Sun. Starting off with Raziya Patels wedding and ending with Haroon and Saba who probably win our coveted Digimax Couple of the year .. applause :) At Digimax we strive to stay at the forefront of technology. We have now invested in two HDV Sony Z1 Camcorders and Crystal Clear mic for the best audio rendition of the actual wedding ceremony. For still imagery we have bought the Nikon D700 and D300, providing high sensitivity for crisp images we so desperately pursue. We are just so excited for 2009. All bookings made prior to June 2009 will qualify for a pre wedding shoot and a discount.

Kind Regards

Sabiha Patel - Asian Bride 2008 Winner

Sabiha Patel was out Asian Bride 2008 competition winner. This lucky lady had a free makever and a free photo session for the Nikkah Reception. Although the wedding was traditional Muslim Gujarati, the bridal and bridesmaids attire was 100% western. This has been the trend for 2008 which for us gives plenty photo opportunities. Sabiha’s reception was at Barking School in East London. The school has a modern dining area and an assembly hall which is large enough to fin 300 guests. We thoroughly enjoyed day, especially the photo shoot on the horse drawn carriage. Thanks to Sabiha and her family for taking god care of us during the shoot. | 07764823887

JAGO AAYA DIGIMAX have captured number of Sikh Weddings for 2008. These weddings are the mother of all - on average staring at 7AM and finishing close to 11PM. If you have the Jago and sangeet - the night before the wedding - you are talking of just 3-4 hours sleep before starting to shoot for the next day. We really do enjoy the Jago and Sangeet nights. These functions are more informal (still-no shorts or flip flops) but probably the most fun and colourful events. This gives an opportunity to sing Jago - Traditional Sikh Pre Wedding Celebration songs, eat, drink and dance the night away. It is a popular custom that further heightens wedding festivities. During the celebration, relatives and friends play the dholki and sing ghori, which is a traditional folk song. This is one enviable feature of Punjabi weddings that has all the relatives and friends of the family rejoicing and joining into add the colour of the occasion. All are invited in this evening of jubilation, irrespective of age and gender. Jago is traditionally performed by the maternal side of the groom’s or bride’s family. This is a chance for he bride’s maternal relatives to take over the wedding functions. Literally, jago means "wake up!". DIGIMAX are offering a special Sikh Punjabi package which includes 5 hours of Jago and Sangeet night coverage and the next days wedding for £2400, thats just an extra £200. We also realise that many Sikh Punjabi weddings have separate photo/video coverage from both the groom and the brides side. We have designed a special package that will provide a consistent and complete coverage for both families and at the same time saving costs. The pre wedding shoot at King George’s park - Wandsworth

For all bookings made prior to June 2009, we are offering a free pre wedding shoot. The shoot is now extended to include videography. We hope to produce a music video during the shoot - do not be alarmed now and no we wont demand multiple clothes change and jumping from behind trees. This will be a very casual informal event where we want to capture the special bond between the couples leading up to the wedding day. And if you like our work, we will be happy to arrange the projection of the video during the wedding day for a very small modest fee. | 07764823887

Our favourites for 2008 Being a part of this dynamic and fun wedding industry, we get to meet a variety of vendor who service this industry. At times we get to meet them at multiple disparate weddings and is like a reunion for us. Here is a list of those that we have observed provide a professional and quality service. Caterers Shaziana, which is run by young and dynamic couple - Saqib and Samira. Saqib has taken over the family business which has been in existence since the 70’s. The two have completely transformed the way Asian wedding food is prepared and served, giving it a contemporary edge. They also have their own core dedicated waiting staff who are extremely professional and polite. We sincerely hope to see more of these guys for next year. Their “gajar ka halwa” (carrot sweet) and ice cream is just out of this world. Shaziana can be contacted on 02085739346 - http:// DJ We have clear winner here - showcase DJ’s do really know how to keep the party going. They just have the knack of keeping the tempo high. They also specialise in atmospheric stage lighting which truly is just amazing. Showcase are on http:// | 07764823887
