Stocks How to trade Stocks through our trading platform DIF Freedom 1. Below you can find the first steps in order to be able to pace your first order and create your own stock portfolio. First please download our trading platform on the following link http://www.difbroker.com/web/en_gb/dif-freedom-download and please introduce the requested information then ‘’check text’’ and press '’’Continue’’ to start the downloading process:
Stocks 2. After you have downloaded our trading platform, please double-click the icon appears on your desktop, called DIF Freedom to first connect to the trading platform and please enter your login details, following the below example:
After entering the login details please click '' Login ''
Stocks 3. After logging to your trading platform, you can create your own trading room by adding a new screen and deleting the old one by clicking File> View> Add View, as presented below.
Stocks 4. To see the share products available for trading please select Trading > Instrument Explorer and then on the left side of the screen will be available a new window and you can see all the available products here:
Click on the "+" symbol next to the Stock Products, and a list of Global Stock Exchanges will appear where you can track the available shares on the Global Exchanges.
Stocks 5. After selecting the symbol ‘’+’’ the Stocks listed below are available for trading on Global Stock Exchanges.
Stocks 6. Alternatively, you can see the products of choice in the "Look For" function, available on Instrument Explorer. For example, you can search for a particular company by entering its name ‘’Apple’’ or ticker ‘‘AAPL’’ in this section, as stated below:
7. Press Right-click on the chosen instrument to open the function ‘’Stock Trade’’ to place the desire order
8. A new window will be available, called ‘’Stock Trade’’ where you will be able to place the order selected and where you can chose the shares amount, price (limit or market) where you can also be able to introduce the Limit Price wanted to purchase the shares :
Stocks 9. Click the Ask function to open a Buy Market order and click on the Bid function to open a Sales Market order on the Exchange. To be possible to sell a stock you must own that stock.
If the above window will change colors during trading activity it will mean that: Green Price Window The prices you see are the exact prices you can buy or sell the stock. Yellow Price Window The prices you see are indicative and you must press "Prices Live ' window to request a binding offer. DIF Broker will offer you a live quotation, which you can click to trade in real time prices. Purple Price Window: The prices you see are indicative, because the market is currently closed or uncertain. 10. After pressing the function '' Place Order '' a new window will open asking you double confirmation of the transaction as in the example below, if the order is correct, you can click on the command '' OK ''.
Stocks 11. Once your order has been placed a new window called "Trade Order and Confirmation '' will appear confirming execution of the order at a specific price:
