Student Guide 15 college/ University majors offered in Brazil Senior students (3º A, 3º B, 3º C and 3º D) from E.E. Wallace Cockrane Simonsen São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo, Brazil – 2012 Teacher Diego Satyro

Editorial This Student Guide is a compilation of students’ writings. Its goal is to convey some relevant information about college or University degrees at some private and/or public institutions. In doing so, its writers – senior high school students from E.E. Wallace Cockrane Simonsen – had to do some research as well as learnt about something that is extremely present and fresh in their minds: their entrance to the High Education world. Each page has been written down by a different group of students/researchers. Since the beginning of the writing process, each group was given a different major to cover up. That way, the reader can have a look at a diverse range of courses. At the end of the editing process, there were fifteen researches or, in other words, fifteen well written pages – ready to be published. As a teacher, considering the writing context and its boundaries (such as the foreign language barriers and the researching issues), I hope the reader – Brazilian or not, high student or not – takes advantages of this material.

Have a good reading,

Diego Satyro (E.E. Wallace Cockrane Simonsen HighSchool English teacher)
