THS GIRLS SOFTBALL The Trenton Lady Bulldogs softball team enters 2013 after making the second-deepest run into the state playoffs in school history in 2012. Trenton brings back a lot of talent this year, but if the Lady Bulldogs are going to make another run at state, they will have to do so with several new faces in new places. Despite having to replace all-state players Scotlin Hurley and Maddie Hooyman as well as the corner infield anchors Avery Whitaker and Kate Lowrey, expectations for the Trenton softball program are always high. “I told the girls from the start that they have seen a lot of success over the past six or seven years and we want to continue on with that,� Head Coach John Cowling said. “I think winning breeds more winning and that is where we are. We see a lot of girls who don’t have a lot of varsity experience but are varsity level players. They just have been stuck
