This book is a collection of stories written out from interviews taken in March 2011, in the structures of the day center San Faustino of Vicenza and Zarepta voluntary association of Ascoli Piceno. A study of the causes of poverty, treated by a more intimate point of view and close to the persons concerned. It is a way to give voice at precarious and delicate situations.

The project focuses on the Urbino landscape, on the question of the depopulation of the city occurred in the 60s and the subsequent recovery of the surrounding countryside by Sardinians farmers. Three interwoven

stories: the first is related to the architect Giancarlo De Carlo, the second is about of a Sardinian shepherd and his family and the third tells about the of the last craftsman in town.
