Private Drum Lessons
Teacher: Arlene Carlucci, SHS Substitute teacher Age: Kindergarteners - 1st graders Dates: Wednesdays, October 31 - December 12 (6 weeks) Time: 3:45 – 4:45 p.m. Early Bird Fee: $144 + $15 materials fee = $159 Original Fee: $151 + $15 materials fee = $166 Minimum Enrollment: 5; Maximum Enrollment: 20 Join Mrs. Carlucci as she reads to your child for 6 book club adventures using only Caldecott honored picture books your child will delight in wondrous and magical adventures each week. Each book club meeting will have a short “book talk” of the thematic elements of the book and a discussion of the award winning art work that the book was given a Caldecott Award for. An art project that coordinates with the book will round out the meeting. Join the fun and become a book clubber today! No reading required!
Sam Koentopp started offering private drum lessons at Sacred Heart in the winter of 2010. He teaches at the Baker Demonstration School in Evanston and as a private instructor. He will teach individual oneon-one lessons for beginners and advanced students of all ages. Students will be expected to have a pair of sticks and a practice pad. Students learn to play basic beats and rhythms, building their skills and confidence on the instrument. Once the basics are mastered, students learn to play songs starting with the Beatles and progressing to more difficult repertoire. No Experience necessary! Wednesday Classes Little Chefs

Join Miss Murphy in the kitchen as we try a new recipe each week. We will be making apple nachos, soft pretzels, muffin pan lasagna and more! Each child will receive a set of measuring spoons and a recipe book to take home at the end of the session.
