Is a psychological specialty that encompasses research and applied work in several broad domains: counseling process and outcome; supervision and training; career development and counseling; prevention and health. Counseling psychology focuses on providing therapeutic treatments to clients who experience a wide variety of symptoms.

Abnormal Psychology What it is? It studies unusual patterns of behavior, emotion and thought, which may or may not be understood as precipitating a mental disorder. Is like a clinical context. We identifies multiple causes for different conditions, employing diverse theories from the general field of psychology and elsewhere, and much still hinges on what exactly is meant by "abnormal". There has traditionally been a divide between psychological and biological explanations, Abnormal includes three different categories. They are subnormal, supernormal and paranormal.

Clinical psychology Doctors, Hospitals? This type of psychology is an integration of science, theory and clinical knowledge for the purpose of understanding, preventing, and relieving psychologically-based distress or dysfunction and to promote subjective development.

Clinical psychologists provide psychotherapy, psychological testing, and diagnosis of mental illness. They generally train within four primary theoretical orientations: psychodynamic, humanistic, behavior therapy/ cognitivebehavioral and systems or family therapy. Many continue clinical training in post-doctoral programs in which they might specialize in disciplines such as psychoanalytic approaches or child and adolescent treatment modalities.

Cognitive psychology Is the study of mental processes as “attention”, language use, memory, perception, problem solving, creativity and thinking. Much of the work derived from cognitive psychology has been integrated into various other modern disciplines of psychological study including:     

Editorial: Well, this magazine result functional for me because it shows me the types of psychology that exist and I would identify if a person has problems and need a psychologist.
