Head to Fitzrovia to see what Monica Galetti did next, after 12 years at two Michelinstarred Le Gavroche. Mere is set to have a 25-seat bar area on the ground floor and a 70-seat dining room in the basement. ‘Mere’ is named after the French for ‘mother’ and the Samoan for Mary, Galetti’s mother’s name.
