My Favorite Movies
My five favorite movies are Blow, Tommy Boy, Water Boy, You, Me, and Dupree, and Click. In Blow, Boston George, played by Johnny Depp goes through a gigantic, flashy rise to the top of the cocaine kingpin game in California. He eventually goes to jail and loses his life and his daughter. He would take it back for anything. The movie taught me to think before I act and to do what is right, even if it might not be the most appealing option. Water Boy, starring Adam Sandler shows how a football team's water by breaks out of his shell and becomes a man. The movie taught me not to give up on anything and to push until I reach my full potential. Tommy Boy tells the story how a half wit college boy saves his fathers auto parts company after his death. The movie taught me I can do whatever I want as long as I put my mind to it. In You, Me, and Dupree, Dupree, played by Owen Wilson is living with newly weds, and almost ruins their marriage before it has a chance. In the end Dupree fixes the problems and makes the couple's love even stronger. This movie opened my eyes to the fact sometimes things might not be going your way, but in the end, everything will be alright. Click has been one of my favorite movies since I was a young boy. Actor Adam Sandler plays an average Joe that is given a universal remote that can fast forward and rewind his life. The lesson he learns is that life, fun or boring, is important and to make the most of every moment. Watching this movie made me appreciate every minute and the importance of family in my life.
