Methaphorhing one space into another. The main intend was to convert the college campus into a recreational space which was a club. The concern was to understand the transition of one space to another keeping in the anthro and the functions requirement of the respective space. The main concept was creating the experience by levels which rises according to the functions and resulting into the different spaces. Also, using materials in such a way that the transitional passages which is made of timber guides the path. The ceiling of the structure was given emphasis by using jack arches in particular spaces. The concept of using levels helped in transferring the life of one space into completely another. Also the structure was given equal importance that those were not disturbed and the spaces were designed.
Organisation of Spaces and Furniture The main intend of the design was to reach the respective spaces while giving levels. Emphasis is given to staircase giving the extension to the double heighted and so the attention is dragged towrads the informal seating space.Also, the light quality of the space is taken care of while giving glass on the top and taking the sky light inside the space and having even light throughout the day.Also installing the furniture in the garden such that dugging out the land and putting glass under which the water would flow and on top of it the seating furniture was kept to create certain experience.
Organization of Spaces and Furniture The concern was to not to disturb the structure elements and design a Retail shop for sports equipment. Main focus was to make each and every equipment easily visible to the customer and give a proper advertisement to it such that it enforces them to buy the product. The eyelevel is set for each product such that the equipment are set accordingly.
Penstand Concept-As it was a pen stand and was related to writing the focus to transmit it to any of the alphabet and as the letter Z is a shape which would give a sharp sheer force from each side and would sustain its shape from every side letter Z was used. Timber was selected as the material as it is locally available and can also be mass produced.
