Alumni Association Mission Statement
The mission of the Catholic Central Alumni Association is to provide services, benefits, and activities of interest to the alumni, to foster an alumni body which is interested and involved in the affairs and functions of the school, and to provide such assistance to the school as may from time to time be requested of it.

MARY, ALMA MATER
Mary, Alma Mater, your sons of Central honor, and trusting in your goodness, we hopefully implore that by your grace we may every day prove that we are men of Mary, Alma Mater. Inspire us evermore.
Mary, Alma Mater, your sons of Central honor, and proudly wear your colors, the Royal Blue and White. May valiant Blue and peerless White teach us to be men of Mary, Alma Mater. Inspire us evermore.
Fellow Alumni and CC Family,
This is my last letter to you, as my term has ended as President of the Alumni Association Board of Directors. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed serving as the Alumni Board President and have received much more than I put in. In that vein, I want to encourage all of you to get involved in volunteer service. It can be your local church, school, food bank, etc. Of course, CC has many opportunities for you to get involved, helping these young men grow. No matter what you choose, I guarantee you will feel enriched and will be glad you took some time to help others.
I am happy to report that the school continues to thrive. We just completed another historic Raffle Ticket DRIVE, the proceeds from which are essential in providing tuition assistance. Furthermore, as of March 2023, we already have 92% of next years’ incoming class admitted with deposits paid–this is WAY ahead of schedule. The STEM addition is proceeding nicely, despite some weather setbacks. Most importantly, the young men of CC continue to excel in their development academically and as men of Catholic Central.
I also encourage you to give consideration to participating in alumni activities like the Alumni Basketball or Softball Leagues, and to attend alumni and school events such as the annual alumni dinner, fine arts weekend, Boys’ Bowl Weekend, and many more (See the CC Website for more information).
On March 9, the Alumni Board of Directors met and elected the following officers for a two-year term:
Bryan Genrich ’03 – President
Jimmy Burns ’04 – Vice President
Judge David Law ’87 – Treasurer
Tom Nugent ’78 – Secretary
The Alumni Board of Directors is in good hands with this excellent executive committee.
Thank you to those who have paused to read my letters – I appreciate you. Be well, be thankful, be happy, and remember – It’s always a GREAT day to be a Shamrock!
Dave Brauer ’84 President, Alumni Association
