Carl Clark is a native of New Jersey and has been a full time resident of Florida since 1998. He studied Architecture at Drexel University and his career in architecture spanned 35 years. Carl resumed painting on a full time basis in 1999, exhibiting widely on a national level. Mastering a variety of styles, Carl Clark’s paintings are owned by clients in the US and Canada.

The original concepts are reduced to the essential elements which convey a sense of place and time . The images are in strong composition and abstractions of color, to express feelings evoked from these places . My style varies from abstract to realistic and covers a wide range of present. The acrylic medium allows for a more fanciful interpretation of the subject . One of the joys of painting is to evoke some emotion, a memory of a time , a place, or a celebration of color.
