Above: The Faceless Man (Inspiration: René Magritte painting “The Son of Man”) Everything we see hides another thing, we always want to see what is hidden by what we see. Earthenware & Apple peeler, 2014 Below Left: The Spirit of the Eagle In Shamanism, the world’s oldest healing tradition, practitioners receive a specific spirit guide known as a power animal. The animal spirits guide from the spirit world and travel with the shaman to offer insight, guidance and help him with his duties. Shamans honour the wisdom and knowledge that each different animal imparts.
