Come join the fun: SIUC School of Journalism presents it’s 2012 Summer Camp! This year the School of Journalism here at SIUC, will be hosting a Summer Camp for students


who interested in a career in Journalism. Where is it? The camp will be held on the SIUC main campus in Carbondale, IL. Students will be staying in the dorms here, and they WILL HAVE A ROMMATE. When is it? Students will be in our care, for a whole week. Yes parents a whole week. Dates are July 18th – 22nd. We will also be providing all meals. What do you have to do? Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and they must have a letter of recommendation from a high school faculty member. You must also feel out the application, and turn in an application fee of 50$. You will be refunded $25. Applications should be turned into or sent to the school of Journalism. Students will have the opportunity to learn and explore all forms of Journalism. They will also learn how to create their own online newspaper, as well as work side by side with real journalist. Students will have access to all SIU events and faculties; such as going to our student recreation center or going to movie night at the student center. Need More Info?
