Welcome to 2-move - an award winnning Estate Agent Our company was originally born from a long-standing partnership with Walters and Partners, who traded from their offices on Milton Road for approaching 40 years. In 2008, the decision was made to re-brand the company and 2-move Gravesend was launched. Following three successful years, in the most difficult of trading climates, we opened our second office in Strood in October 2011. Both offices command eye-catching locations in their respective towns and we hope that this is one, of what we hope are many, reasons that you may consider our services.

As with all the best service-led companies, our reputation depends largely on the quality, integrity and professionalism of our staff, many of whom have years of experience in residential sales, lettings, property management and financial services. W How does it feel for your achievements to be recognised? The biggest thing for me is the impact it has had on staff. For them to feel that their work is noticed is so important. We have invested a lot this year but as far as staff motivation is concerned it was worth every penny. We’re already thinking about the next awards! W What have you been up to in the past year? I reviewed everything from procedures to staff training, marketing, trying to keep brand consistency and so on. We completely redesigned the website too. We are a two-branch network but we wanted to get to a point where our staff

We introduced monthly meetings for both offices, going through what sales, lettings and listings have been achieved throughout the two offices. I try to keep it light. We also had a couple of training days via the Property Academy — predominantly valuation and presentation training — that’s something I’ll look at growing this year. W How do you engage with your customers? I try to give people the service I’d want myself. I also encourage each member of staff to allow their personality to come out. If the standard blurb is the first thing customers hear, it can be off-putting. That first point of contact, especially if it’s a valuation, that’s the first chance you have to differentiate yourself from the other agents trying to get that business. It’s the dialogue that makes the difference. We are sales people and the public know that, so you have to try to break down that innate barrier.
