Saints Peter & Paul SVdP Conference Service to our Seniors at Community Nursing and Rehab We are in urgent need of a few people to bring Holy Communion to the Catholic residents of Community Nursing and Rehab on Mill St. and Ogden Ave. We have 3 people on a team who meet one Thursday a month at 10:15 to distribute Communion to those who are confined to a wheel chair and not able to get to Church. Your commitment would be only one Thursday a month. If you are not a Eucharistic Minister we will train you. For more information or if interested, please call Paulette Shea at 630-718-2127. Thank you for considering this wonderful ministry.

ROSARY Come pray with us each Tuesday evening in the Church beginning at 7:30 PM. With our Rosaries, we will ask our Lady to intercede for our Holy Father’s special intention of the month, as well as for our own intentions and for world peace without the threat of terrorism. On the third Tuesday of the month, there will be a Rosary Holy Hour with Benediction. All are most welcome to join us. If there is a special intention that you would like to have remembered during the weekly Rosary, please email or come to the Tuesday Rosary to add your intention.

Your parish St. Vincent de Paul Conference thanks you for making its Spring clothing drive the most successful ever. Two trucks were 100% filled with your donated clothing, household items, electronics, and books. You can take satisfaction in knowing that your donations will help many individuals and families who are in need. Those donations from your Spring house cleaning will spring to new life in the coming months in helping create a better life for others.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word Monday:

The children’s Liturgy of the Word ministry is still in need of leaders and shepherds. The program takes place at the 9:30am and 11:00am Masses in the Holy Family Chapel. Children in first through fourth grade join the leader to hear God’s Word in a manner that is easier for them to understand. This takes place in a separate room from the chapel during the same time that their parents are hearing the Word in the chapel. This is a rewarding ministry and the materials that we use, give even the adult leaders a better understanding of scripture. Leaders conduct the program and shepherds help during the session. Please prayerfully consider volunteering for this important ministry so that we can continue to help the younger parishioners in understanding God’s Word. This is truly fulfilling our baptismal promises to evangelize.
