PORTFOLIO PRODUCT AND INDUSTRIAL DESIGN
“ Be makers of things, not just consumers of things, because our future depends on it. — Dave Peth
Natural Light Photography The main idea on this project is to give an other aspect of an industrial product. The watering can was the perfect example to represent the object under these different views and to bring him a new look for inviting the reader to see at new details and shapes.
Lighting & Studio A can, a plastic cup, a noodle cup and a string of coil are objects that we use in our daily lives. The objective through this serie of pictures is to put forward what we can call banal objects in front of the light in order to transform them into special items.
The Rocking Stool The rocking stool comes with an elegant and simple shape, created out of one piece of foam made from a company which collects leftover material from factories. The piece has been cut to insert a wooden cross which will give the rocking motion and soothes the body and mind with the rhythmic, gentle motion that melts away the stress.
Lampshades Instead of creating the mold of the lamp a stretchable fabric will allow to generate its own shape once it is applied to the metallic skeleton. The fabric is simultaneously diffusing the light allowing for a rich ambient atmosphere.
NORTH The weather vane shows the direction of the wind, usually mounted on top of a building. A rarely accesible object once set. NORTH is a weather vane wich allows the user to choose its use. When placed in the north it will turn on its axis and will shows the direction of the wind. The object will interact with its user and will become a game.

Orb The concept of this project was to work only with the laser printer. Using the constraints of the machine cutting size and construct a sphere with the least amount of materials. Made from balsa a flexible and lightweight wood wich allowed me to create pieces that hooks together to generate a pressure that will give the spherical shape. In a natural way the shape of the pieces are generated by the function.
Jugs These carafes are based on the craft of tinsmith and constructed from a metal sheet wich is outside galvanized . There are two models of decanters, the first contains 1L and can be closed and put in refrigerators, the second contains 2L for family meals. The model is made entirely of paper as realistically as possible in order to discuss with the tinsmith on productiuon details.
POP-UP Inspired by the packaging of McDonald’s fries, Pop-Up is a lampeshades wich is sold flat which when opened reveals its shape and its color. Made from recycable cardboard and by using simple construction, it eliminates a complex production process, which allows a reasonable manufacturing prices. An original way to give life to the often light bulb alone in our house.
