Nestled amid the red buttes of Papago Park, the Desert Botanical Garden is a unique destination for discovering the wonders of the Sonoran Desert. The Garden is home to the world’s finest and most diverse collection of succulent plants. Discover saguaros, prickly pears, agaves and desert wildflowers. Enjoy guided and self-guided tours, demonstrations, and seasonal exhibits.

The Garden Shop will be closed during the summer of 2012 for renovation. It will reopen November 1, 2012.

Visit for seasonal exhibits, special events and classes. Don’t miss the fall Mariposa Monarca Monarch Butterfly Exhibit and the Spring Butterfly Exhibit. If you are here during December, experience Las Noches de las Luminarias, the Garden’s annual holiday celebration.

Hours 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. (May – Sept.) 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. (Oct. – April) Only the main trail is open after sunset. Open daily except July 4, Thanksgiving Day and December 25. The Garden may close early for special events. Please call ahead or visit for the most up-to-date information.
