We collect furniture and household appliances free within Angus. Contact us if you want us to take something away.
We sell quality furniture and appliances at a fraction of the new price. We can deliver anwhere in Angus for a modest charge.
Our furniture restoration workshop can provide old items with fresh life. Our trained volunteers can also do electrical testing on appliances.

We collect unwanted, good quality furniture free from anywhere in Angus
Provides free carpet cleaning for the elderly, disabled and parents with young children, who are unable to afford it and who are referred to FRPA by Angus Council or other authorised agents.
Refurbishes furniture and tests electrical appliances Helps to reduce homelessness by passing furniture and appliances on to people who have been given tenancies, but have no furniture. Angus Council and local Housing Associations refer such people to us. We sell other furniture at modest prices, with a 20% reduction for those on benefits, from its Wardmill Road, Arbroath Warehouses.
Offers jobs to the young unemployed who come to us under Government schemes, thus training them for paid employment thereafter. Offers Volunteers similar job training and work experience. Provides work experience for young people via our local Job Centre.

We have a 20% reduction on all items for those who receive benefits from our warehouses. If you are about to enter a tenancy with Angus Council or a housing association and need furniture, ask them to send us a list of your needs. We normally deliver within two working days anywhere in Angus for a modest charge.

Our selection of white goods are subject to a Portable Appliance Test and a functionality test before leaving our warehouse. We have a number of trained technicians on hand to ensure high levels of safety of products that are leaving the workshop.

We offer cost effective carpet cleaning to homes, offices and shops. All carpet cleaning is carried out by our qualified technicians, using some of the best and most effective carpet care products (PROCHEM) currently available in the market. We believe that ReCyClean is unique in Scotland, providing a free carpet cleaning service to the visually impaired, disabled and low income families via referrals from Social Work. Regular cleaning improves the appearance and condition of your carpets, increasing longevity.
Regular vacuuming is a necessity to keep your carpets clean and hygenic. However most domestic vacuum cleaners, shampooers and steamers, even the most powerful ones, haven’t got what it takes to get rid of that deep-down stains or nasty germs. This is a job for trained proffesionals and their sophisticated equipment. We charge Commercial Premises’ £35 per hour, including VAT. Estimates are free so get in contact with us to make a booking.

Electrical Testing Last year we tested and passed 1171 portable appliances. Since 2005 we have tested a total of 4,749 items which have been passed on to members of the public.
We need people to work with us
Can you drive? Have office skills? Good with the public? Enjoy being part of a team? Interested in furniture repair? Looking for an active job We can offer work experience and job training as a way to boost your chances of finding a paid job. Currently we have about twenty staff, some volunteers, some on short-term work-experience contracts, and some full-time employees. Several of our volunteers have moved on into paid employment. Others have preferred to stay with us.
