All drop-in customers, ages 8 and up, are required to show a Rec Pass and have a current liability waiver on file. The Rec Pass is scanned for facility use and is valid for one year from the date of purchase. Customers participating in fee-based activities are not required to have a Rec Pass. Resident: $5/year with a max of $20/ family. Nonresident: $10/year with a max of $40/family. Replacement fees are $2 for lost or forgotten cards.

$10/person; 28407 7pm set-up; ends at 8am, Sunday Roll up your sleeping gear and come hit the trail for a campout at the Eureka playground in South Lakes Park. We will have a variety of fun activities, such as a scavenger hunt, storytelling, and marshmallow roast. Cost includes dinner on Saturday night and a breakfast snack on Sunday morning. Children must preregister with an adult. Registration deadline is April 16. For an additional charge of $10, you may reserve a tent and two sleeping bags. Call 940-3498732 for reservations. $100 resident $80 for session 5 due to the July 4th holiday. No camp July 5. T-shirt: $7 (required one-time fee) Deposit: $10 (details below) Nonresidents must pay an additional $5 per session. Fees include all activities, swimming, field trips, supplies, and lunch. If campers are not registered for the free lunch, they must bring two snacks, drinks, and a lunch.

PAYMENT DETAILS:

The first camp session must be paid in full upon registration. A $10 deposit (applied to fee) is required for all reserved sessions. Deposits are non-refundable; credits or refunds are not provided for days missed. For sessions paid in full, a one-week notice must be given to receive credit toward another session.

Participate in the Texas Amateur Athletic Foundation (TAAF) swimming program. If you can swim a 25-yard continuous stroke, you are eligible to join the Denton Dolphins. Participants may compete in either Friday or Saturday swim meets in the area, and qualifying swimmers may advance to the state competition. Parents’ meeting May 20, 7pm at Denton Natatorium.

To be eligible for the course, participants must be 15 years of age on or before the final scheduled session and must successfully complete the following: • 100 yards of front crawl using rhythmic breathing and a stabilizing propellant kick. Rhythmic breathing can be performed to the side or front. • 100 yards of breaststroke using a pull, breathe, kick, and glide sequence. • 100 yards of either the front crawl or breaststroke. • Swim 20 yards using the front crawl or breaststroke, surface dive 7-10 feet, retrieve a 10-pound object, return to the surface, swim 20 yards back to the starting point with the object, and exit the water without using a ladder or steps; all within 1 minute and 40 seconds.

Indoor Swim Lessons

Summer swim lessons are offered in the mornings, evenings, and Saturdays. Lessons for all skill levels are provided at each class during each session. Participants are tested and grouped to determine their appropriate level. We offer weekday lessons with eight lessons per session and Saturday lessons with four lessons per session. Our after-school program offers a variety of recreational activities, intramural leagues, arts and crafts, field trips, and much more.
