Description: The City of Sparta will be relocating Jubel Drive. Sparta Light Metal Products, Inc. (SLMP) owns property on both sides of the current Jubel Drive. SLMP needs to expand their business to allow for more efficient productions and transportation of products. Benefits: The benefits of this project will be the replacement of and oil and chip street to a PCC pavement Class II truck route. Also, there will be an increase in employment at Sparta Light Metal Products, Inc. This project will also help keep a portion of the production capabilities in Sparta and not move out of state.
