2016 was a remarkable year for Stinson Beach real estate. A total of 33 properties sold, with prices ranging from $775,000 to $9,500,000. The average sale price was $2,744,650, 10.8% higher than 2015 and 107.3% higher than 2010. The majority of property transacted in 2016 was in the gated community of Seadrift, with 11 homes and 5 lots sold. The Hill community and Panoramic area was also very attractive to buyers, with a total of 10 properties sold. The Sherfey Group was fortunate to have had a terrific year, closing 20 transactions, representing 15 sellers and 5 buyers. As a group, we had the highest amount of sales by volume and units sold in Stinson Beach, according the Bay Area MLS.
