2016 was a remarkable year for Stinson Beach real estate. A total of 33 properties sold, with prices ranging from $775,000 to $9,500,000. The average sale price was $2,744,650, 10.8% higher than 2015 and 107.3% higher than 2010. The majority of property transacted in 2016 was in the gated community of Seadrift, with 11 homes and 5 lots sold. The Hill community and Panoramic area was also very attractive to buyers, with a total of 10 properties sold.      The Sherfey Group was fortunate to have had a terrific year, closing 20 transactions, representing 15 sellers and 5 buyers. As a group, we had the highest amount of sales by volume and units sold in Stinson Beach, according the Bay Area MLS. We are incredibly thankful to all of our wonderful clients and the dedicated team at Decker Bullock Sotheby’s International Realty for the successful year.     We look forward to 2017 as Decker Bullock Sotheby’s International Realty expands under a new name, Golden Gate Sotheby’s International Realty.
