4/12/2013 5:30 PM Celebrate Israel at WRT: Yom Ha'atzmaut 5773 Westchester Reform Temple Join with Westchester Reform Temple for one evening full of many ways to celebrate Israel’s 65th Birthday! Come for part of the evening…come for all! 5:30 pm – Tot Shabbat: Israel Toddlers and pre-schoolers (ages 2 – 5) are invited to bring their parents, grandparents and caregivers for a short service followed by arts and crafts activity and child friendly dinner.RSVP is requested by 4/9 to ellen.rosenberg@wrtemple.org. 6:15 pm – Community Celebration Are you between the ages of 6 and 96? Then this is the intergenerational evening for you! Sample Israeli food, learn Israeli dances, and participate in activities for all ages. Come out to see how WRT celebrates Israel! 7:45 pm – Shabbat Evening Services This warm service will honor the work of our Executive Director, Yoel Magid, on the occasion of his retirement from Westchester Reform Temple in June 2013. Yoel lived in Israel for more than 25 years, and we are pleased to celebrate him along with the country he called home for so long. The service will also feature musical performances by Pilpel.
