Debbie Wahl Food Styling
It all started with making mud pies on the banks of Lake Erie. Discovering the joy of cooking soon followed. For more than 20 years, I have been exercising my culinary skill and artistic sense to give food its strongest visual appeal. My styling can be seen in print advertising, food packaging, and numerous websites and on television and film, for clients including Campbells Soups, Coca-Cola, Friendly’s Restaurants, Perdue, Pizza Hut, McCormick Spice Co., and Stouffer Foods.
Projects have included: --preparing a picnic meal in mid-summer in a stifling sailboat galley for Bon Appetit Magazine, --cooking 600-pounds-worth of turkey dinners all outdoors on location for the Barry Levinson film Avalon, --styling for many new packaging launches—including Perdue, McCormick’s Grill Mates, Thai Kitchen, and Campbell’s, --styling for media tours with notable chefs and celebrities. My job brings me great joy and a true sense of accomplishment through collaborating with photographers, art and set directors, prop stylists and clients to create stunning images. I am blessed to work with some of the best food photographers in the industry! In addition to food styling, I also provide recipe development, recipe contest coordinating, focus group supervising and menu planning and implementation.
Our Services: I have had the privilege of styling artful food images for these clients:
