D!NG one year anniversary issue
03.07.2013 D!NG magazine is born in Belgium D!NG is an online magazine founded by Jolien Dirix. First she and Debby Thijs started Dd’yeux magazine. But after two edition Dd’yeux became D!NG. Now D!NG is ran by four motivated girls. Jolien Dirix is the main editor and publisher of the magazine. Sarah Vierstraete is the main editor of the interviews and the right hand of Jolien. Lies Gallez is our copywriter and Eveline Lambrechts mainly does research, because D!NG is more than only a magazine.
We focus on young multidisciplinary artist who are in the beginning of their artistic ambition. In English ‘ding’ is literally translated ‘thing’. Most of the time ‘Ding’ refers to an object. However ‘ding’ can also stand for the unknown and it can be translate into a substance of things.
