David Chionsini is a healthcare information technology (IT) professional who primarily helps healthcare organizations and physician practices resolve the complex issues concerning the electronic health record. He also assists organizations migrate to a paperless environment through the use of electronic document storage and electronic forms processing software. For nearly three decades, he has worked in the healthcare IT industry functioning in the capacity of Programmer/Systems Analyst, Operations Manager, Enterprise Project Consultant, Healthcare IT Consultant, and Chief Information Officer. Prior to starting his own company, David served as the Chief Information Officer for Warm Springs Rehabilitation System located in San Antonio, TX. During his ten years with Warm Springs, he stabilized the organizations technology infrastructure, provided technology vision and leadership, and advanced the organization technologically. He successfully led multiple technology projects for the selection, implementation, and deployment of multiple systems that included:

Before leaving for Warm Springs Rehabilitation System, David served as a Enterprise Project Consultant for HBO&C (now McKesson HBOC). McKesson HBOC is a health care services company dedicated to helping its customers deliver high-quality health care by reducing costs, streamlining processes, and improving the quality of care and patient safety. During this time, he led a team of implementation consultants from HBO&C and System Analyst from the client site to implement an Electronic Health Record system. Additionally, he assisted the client and HBO&C personnel implement and deploy other HBO&C products that included: •

Radiology and PACS system

Interface Engine

Prior to accepting the position with HBO&C, David served as a Healthcare IT Consultant for Insource Management Group in Houston, TX. In this role he led multiple teams in the method of re-assessing and reengineering multiple critical processes that influenced the clients IT operations. By working with his clients, he was able to produce efficient process designs for backup and restore procedures, changed control policies and procedures, crisis management procedures, problem resolution policies and procedures, and help desk department processes. While living in New Orleans, LA, David served as an Operation Manager for Pyxis Corporation (now Cardinal Healthcare). Pyxis Corporation is a manufacturer of automated medication and supply distribution systems. In this position he managed a staff of fourteen implementation specialist, clinical consultants, and interface engineers.

He performed financial forecasting and conducted operations for a $10 million dollar business unit covering Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia and Florida.
