Saturday 14 September, 7.30pm | £15 Gill Sims is the number one best-selling author behind Why Mummy Drinks it’s follow up Why Mummy Swears and the recently announced Why Mummy Doesn’t Give A… Join Gill as she is interviewed about her blog, books, characters and much more! There will be readings from her books and a chance to ask some questions. Books will be available to purchase and sign as well.

Formed in 1910 as the Craghead Colliery Band, they become internationally recognised with concerts across the country as well as regularly appearing on radio and television. Supported by Reg Vardy the band recently qualified for the 2019 National Finals for a remarkable 50th time since 1963 and look forward to representing the Northern Region in the Royal Albert Hall later this year. They are in the top 20 of the World Brass Bands.

Our 2019 programme presents 2 hours of the best of the festival, representing the pinnacle of climbing, running and biking, as well as adventures from the snow and streets and the latest from Free Solo’s Alex Honnold and Jimmy Chin.
