Featuring the Tony Award-winning host of the The Late Late Show, James Corden, this hilarious West End and Broadway hit returns to mark NT Live’s 10th birthday.
Somewhere in rural North East England Jake is discovering what kind of person he wants to become. He surrounded by working-class men like his Fatha. Men who live by one main philosophy: as a bloke “If someone punches you, you punch them back twice as hard… then have a pint.”
Fired from his skiffle band, Francis Henshall becomes minder to Roscoe Crabbe, a small time East End hood, now in Brighton to collect £6,000 from his fiancée’s dad. However, Roscoe is really his sister Rachel posing as her own dead brother, who’s been killed by her boyfriend Stanley Stubbers…
Jake is starting to realise he isn’t his Fatha, and Jake’s Fatha is starting to realise he isn’t Jake.
Celebrating 10 Stick-tacular years! The touching, funny and utterly original, delightful adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s Stick Man is back. What starts off as a morning jog becomes quite the misadventure, as a dog wants to play fetch with him, a swan builds a nest with him, and he even ends up on a fire! How will Stick Man ever get back to the family tree? This award-winning production, from the team behind Tiddler and other Terrific Tales, Tabby McTat and Zog. 03000 266 600 www.galadurham.co.uk
