Un nuevo hito en el corazón de Hangzhou Breve introducción edas, SWA, BPI y CAADI fueron especialmente invitados a diseñar la arquitectura, el paisaje, la iluminación y el interior de Focus Hangzhou, respectivamente, para crear conjuntamente un complejo emblemático, uno de los hitos de los Juegos Olímpicos de 2022 y una nueva tarjeta de identificación de Hangzhou .

Como una de las diez mejores firmas de arquitectura del mundo, Aedas es la única agencia de diseño que combina investigación internacional, cultura regional y diseño global en el mundo. Tiene sus raíces tanto a nivel local como mundial para proporcionar trabajos de diseño diversos y creativos.

Antecedentes generales Una ciudad puede estar dotada de infinitas posibilidades por la época y las oportunidades para avanzar en la marea de la época. Hangzhou tardó mil años en entrar en la era del Lago del Oeste y diez años en entrar en la era del río Qiantang, la próxima “edad de oro”. Todos los constructores están dando forma al Hangzhou contemporáneo, alimentando y renovando la ciudad con su propia vitalidad.

El río Qiantang, con el título de “La marea más grande del mundo” en su haber, se ha convertido ahora en un nuevo centro urbano en Hangzhou. Aedas ha diseñado un complejo comercial emblemático en el área central de Qianjiang Century City, el futuro CBD, junto al río.

La parcela se encuentra inmediatamente adyacente al río Qiantang en el oeste, mientras que tiene vistas al Olympic Sports Expo Center en el sur. Encaramado en una posición providencial, se puede acceder al área a través de las líneas 6 y 2 del metro planificadas, así como las tres carreteras arteriales que conducen a la ciudad nueva de Qianjiang en la orilla opuesta.

Una pasarela peatonal sostenida está diseñada para conectar los edificios y el espacio púbico a lo largo del curso del río, invitando a los ciudadanos a explorar el interior. El diseño permite que una panoplia de funciones florezca desde el paisaje central y se pliegue en un espacio habitable urbano multidimensional. Al vincular los paseos marítimos, los espacios verdes escalonados y las plazas comerciales, el desarrollo crea un entorno dinámico e hidrófilo, que se afirma como una fuente de esparcimiento para los ciudadanos.

A la llegada del festival de espectáculos de luces del río Qiantang, el muro cortina de vidrio se transformará en un escenario de luces. Se alinea con el Olympic Sports Center en el lado sur y Qianjiang New Town en la orilla opuesta para crear espacio para una experiencia expansiva e inmersiva.

It took one thousand years for Hangzhou to enter the era of the West Lake and ten years to enter the era of the Qiantang River, the incoming “golden age”. All the builders are shaping contemporary Hangzhou, nourishing and renewing the city with their own vitality.

The Qiantang River, with the title of “World’s Largest Tidal Bore” under its belt, has now become a brand-new urban center in Hangzhou. Aedas has designed a landmark commercial complex in the core area of ​​the Qianjiang Century City, the future CBD, alongside the River.

The plot is immediately adjacent to the Qiantang River on the west while overlooking the Olympic Sports Expo Center on the South. Del mar nacieron las esperanzas. Él ha sido testigo del paso de la humanidad y sus culturas en el tiempo, y quien puede apreciarlo, en su mirada quedan resguardadas todas aquellas que observaron ese mismo horizonte. Para los Mayas el agua era considerada la fuente de toda existencia, y así como el mar trae algo nuevo cada día, ellos nos muestran que lejos de ser una cultura perdida, siguen ofreciendo al mundo infinidad de sentidos llenos de profundidad y valor.

Por causalidades de la vida, conocí a Verónica Guerra de Alberti, creadora de la marca de productos Códices Mayas, y encontré en ella a una mujer inspiradora, quien me cautivó con su profundo sentido de pertenencia por su país y la cultura Maya. Así mismo encontré en ella la oportunidad para entregar al mundo lo mejor de mí como orfebre y diseñadora de joyería artesanal, gesto por el que estaré por siempre agradecida.

Diseñar joyas inspiradas en la cultura Maya, es para mí un viaje en el tiempo que da voz a quienes habitaron nuestras tierras americanas, y a través de las formas y los colores del bronce, el oro, las piedras y la resina, les invito a ser partícipes de esa semiótica que integra la memoria del pasado con un presente que le dignifica, recreando la rica identidad de un pueblo. La joyería siempre será una forma no solo de rescatar y representar una cultura, sino también de invitar a través de su uso en el cuerpo, a conocer sus códigos y significados.

Tania Collazos Rodríguez Colombian Artist Hopes were born from the sea. uizá mañana seamos más, quienes alcancemos la virtuosa manera de vivir que nos ofrece “la arquitectura austera” de los arquitectos franceses Anne Lacaton y Jean-Philippe Vassal, merecedores del premio Pritsker de Arquitectura este año 2021. El objeto arquitectónico viejo, quizá en desuso se revalora para hacerse presente en la vida de muchos que antes se imaginaban fuera de una habitabilidad con valores funcionales y estéticos arquitectónicos. “La buena arquitectura es abierta, para mejorar la vida de cualquier persona” …donde el espacio es una constante sugerencia de familiaridad, de utilidad y de belleza, aseverado por el mismo Philippe. o hay nada como vivir en el hermoso sur de Florida bañado por el sol. En las renovaciones finales, puede ver que los toques de azul océano y variantes se colocaron esporádicamente en toda la casa. Al adoptar este enfoque, se logró la transición adecuada de “el dormitorio principal, el armario y el baño”, dijeron los propietarios, que era el objetivo principal de Lichi de conectar la suite completa.

La característica principal en el diseño del baño principal es el mosaico con tonos de azul. here is nothing quite like living in the beautiful sun-drenched, South Florida. Homeowners of 1000 Ocean spent years in the Northeastern areas of Connecticut and Maryland, until they decided to make their way down to South Florida. Their first purchase is the home that they currently have resided in for the past 11 years. This original model home is a waterfront property that has not been designed by the homeowners until recently.

After living in the home for a substantial amount of time the owners decided it was time to make a change in the design of their master bedroom, bathroom, and closet. As the condo has an upfront view of the Atlantic Ocean and pristine Florida beaches, the owners wanted more from a design standpoint.

While they interviewed five interior designers in South Florida, they selected one that met their standards and saw their vision -- Perla Lichi, Founder of Perla Lichi Design to give their home a much-needed design remodel. Lichi resonated with what they wanted in their home and worked well in synch with the homeowners to make their contemporary coastal lifestyle flourish into something spectacular.

During the renovations, Lichi projected certain colors and textures throughout the design elements of the bathroom and bedroom. The colors that were focused on were based solely on the exterior environment. In this case being the sandy beaches, luscious green palm trees, and different shades of blues – from the Atlantic Ocean. This was creatively achieved by designing and integrating a glass mosaic floor insert which brings in the illusion of water on the floor as an extension of their ocean view. In the final renovations, you can see that hints of ocean blue and variants were placed sporadically throughout the home. By taking this approach, this properly transitioned “the master bedroom, closet, and bathroom,” said the homeowners, which was Lichi’s main objective to connect the full suite.

The main feature in the master bathroom design is the mosaic tile with the shades of blue. The abstract 15-foot, one of a kind accent wall is made out of Sici’s Italian handcrafted glass mosaic – creates a magnificent, dramatic feature wall, “Bringing in the Ocean into the room as an illusion is what brought in the magic,” says Lichi. “The wall was key – not only does it act as art but it connects the whole room space from far away – it pulls you in.” The idea was to have the art wall be an instant eye catcher since it is visible from the moment one walks into the master bathroom and through the dressing area.

As you walk through the master closet, Lichi created an island dressing table which serves as a transition between the master bathroom and the master bedroom and creates a cozy dressing space. The area also allows storage, function and light to go through the space. The design encompasses all colors of the bathroom while also adding earthtones to the mix. The space has an extra-large island with a gray marble slab, plenty of drawers & cabinets, and a blue glass chandelier, which resembles the sun. As Lichi ties in all of the colors, she focuses on the functionality and logistics of each space due to the limited size of the condo, and it allows light in the rooms from the bedroom through and through.

The finishing product proves Perla Lichi’s brilliance in the interior design realm. Homeowners of the residence thanked Lichi as they are “so satisfied and very happy.” Now the residents “can look out on the Ocean and feel it 360 degrees in this space!”

n tema que siempre me ha interesado es la elección de un juego de cuchillos ideal para usar en nuestras cocinas.

Bueno, si nunca lo han hecho, les sorprenderá descubrir que en siglos pasados ​​las cosas no eran como hoy.

Amigos de Sian Ka’an A.C. A la memoria de Emilio Pérez, el Och, y de Vidal Vela Sierra.

Eran los principios de los años 90. El movimiento de conservación en Quintana Roo era joven y la pregunta central que se hacían sus protagonistas era… ¿Cómo nos involucramos con las comunidades locales en la tarea y los beneficios de cuidar de la naturaleza? Una opción entonces evidente era promover el aprovechamiento sustentable de la fauna silvestre, mucha de la cual era consumida por el pueblo maya de manera tradicional y permanente. En el mar, Amigos de Sian Ka’an empezó a apoyar a los pescadores de Punta Allen en la pesca sustentable de langosta espinosa, esfuerzo cuyo éxito se mantiene hasta el día de hoy. En los ejidos selváticos alrededor de Sian Ka’an, parecía lógico trabajar con las especies más consumidas para el sustento familiar: jabalí de collar, tepezcuintle y venado cola blanca. Pero… ¿En el pantano?

En los humedales no había una actividad productiva que se llevara a cabo. Existía un mal mito de que los pantanos eran sitios insalubres. Había una limitada visión de la importancia vital de los humedales para el medio ambiente y para la economía humana. Sin embargo, sí había una respuesta y la daban la daban los reyes del humedal: los cocodrilos.

Durante los años 60 y 70, la cacería de cocodrilos en lo que hoy es Sian Ka’an, era un negocio próspero. Cazadores profesionales como Emilio Pérez, mejor conocido como el “Och” o el “Diablo”, o Vidal Vela Sierra, pasaban semanas en pequeños cayucos navegando por los humedales de Sian Ka’an en busca de cocodrilos a los que cazaban y cuya piel salaban para conservarla. Comían de la misma carne de esos grandes reptiles o de algún otro animal que se cruzaba en su camino. Al final del recorrido regresaban a su hogar, en Felipe Carrillo Puerto, donde vendían las pieles a un comerciante que las llevaba a Mérida.

A principios de los años 70, las poblaciones de cocodrilos en México habían decrecido a niveles alarmantes hasta el punto de que el gobierno federal decretó una veda permanente y total a su cacería en todo el territorio nacional. Fue una medida que, aunque tenía bases legales endebles, constituyó una de las medidas gubernamentales más exitosas para cuidar a una especie en peligro de extinción. Bueno, en realidad dos: el cocodrilo de pantano y el cocodrilo de ría.

Con la veda, la demanda de piel de cocodrilos decayó y, por lo tanto Don Vidal, el Och y otros “lagarteros” no tuvieron incentivos para seguir incursionando en los pantanos.

La lancha navega entre canales y lagunas. El biólogo sólo adrenalina, observando a los ojos brillantes que poco poco dejan ver la cabeza flotante de un gran espécimen:

“Tras esta actividad científica de gran valor, el animal es devuelto a la libertad en el mismo sitio de la captura.”

¿Dos metros? ¿Dos metros y medio?

La tensión crece. Capitán y biólogo, casi como una sola mente, hacen los movimientos necesarios y toman posiciones para la captura. En esta ocasión hay buena suerte. El cocodrilo no se sumerge, flota un poco cegado por la lámpara, sin temor a las vibraciones que siente en el agua. Armado con una larga pértiga, el biólogo pasa cuidadosamente un lazo metálico alrededor de las mandíbulas poderosas. Es una maniobra compleja: no se debe tocar al hipersensible hocico y hay que evadir las hojas de pasto que se interponen en el camino. Un fuerte jalón culmina con la tensión y el lazo se cierra alrededor del cuello desatando una feroz lucha. Finalmente, el animal es controlado y subido a la lancha, con el hocico asegurado, para ser medido y pesado. Se determina su sexo, se toma quizás una muestra de sangre y se marca para poder identificarlo en el futuro. Tras esta actividad científica de gran valor, el animal es devuelto a la libertad en el mismo sitio de la captura.

Noches intensas y variadas con un protagonista principal: el capitán de la embarcación que, en esos años 90 eran ni más ni menos, el Och y Don Vidal, los antiguos cazadores de cocodrilos ahora convertidos en sus conservacionistas. El estudio demostró que los cocodrilos podían aprovecharse por parte de la comunidad bajo un esquema de captura de crías que no ponía en riesgo la viabilidad de las poblaciones silvestre. Sin embargo, los años pasaron, el ecoturismo en Sian Ka’an, también impulsado por Amigos de Sian Ka’an, se convirtió en la opción productiva para la gente y la reserva se convirtió en el principal destino ecoturístico del sur de

México en beneficio exclusivo de sus habitantes. El aprovechamiento de piel de cocodrilos en Sian Ka’an se dejó en los años 70 pero el estudio continúa en marcha, siendo el más extenso jamás llevado a cabo con cocodrilos en México.

It was the early 90’s. The conservation movement in Quintana Roo was young and the central question asked by its protagonists was… How do we get involved with local communities in the task and benefits of caring for nature? An obvious option then was to promote the sustainable use of wildlife, much of which was consumed by the Mayan people in a traditional and permanent way. At sea, Amigos de Sian Ka’an began supporting the fishermen of Punta Allen in the sustainable fishing of spiny lobster, an effort whose success continues to this day.

In the jungle ejidos around Sian Ka’an, it seemed logical to work with the most consumed species for family sustenance: collared boar, parsnip, and white-tailed deer. But… in the swamp?

In the wetlands there was no productive activity taking place. There was a bad myth that swamps were unhealthy places. There was a limited view of the vital importance of wetlands for the environment and for the human economy.

However, there was an answer and it was given by the kings of the wetland: the crocodiles.

During the 1960s and 1970s, crocodile hunting in what is now Sian Ka’an was a thriving business. Professional hunters like Emilio Pérez, better known as the “Och” or the “Diablo”, or Vidal Vela Sierra, spent weeks in small canoes navigating the wetlands of Sian Ka’an in search of crocodiles they hunted and whose skin they salted to keep it. They ate the same meat from those large reptiles or some other animal that crossed their path. At the end of the journey they returned home, in Felipe Carrillo Puerto, where they sold the skins to a merchant who took them to Mérida.

At the beginning of the 1970s, crocodile populations in Mexico had decreased to alarming levels to the point that the federal government decreed a permanent and total ban on their hunting throughout the national territory. It was a measure that, although it had weak legal bases, was one of the most successful government measures to care for an endangered species. Well, actually two: the swamp crocodile and the estuary crocodile. With the closure, the demand for crocodile skin declined and, therefore, Don Vidal, the Och and other “lizards” had no incentive to continue venturing into the swamps.

The crocodile does not submerge, it floats a little blinded by the lamp, without fear of the vibrations it feels in the water. Armed with a long pole, the biologist carefully loops a metal loop around the powerful jaws. It is a complex maneuver: the hypersensitive muzzle must not be touched and the blades of grass that get in the way must be avoided. A strong pull culminates in tension and the noose closes around the neck, unleashing a fierce fight. Finally, the animal is controlled and put into the boat, with the snout secured, to be measured and weighed. After this scientific activity of great value, the animal is returned to freedom in the same place of capture.

Intense and varied nights with a main protagonist: the captain of the boat who, in those 90s were neither more nor less, the Och and Don Vidal, the former crocodile hunters now converted into its conservationists. The study showed that crocodiles could be exploited by the community under a hatchling capture scheme that did not put the viability of wild populations at risk. However, as the years passed, ecotourism in Sian Ka’an, also promoted by Amigos de Sian Ka’an, became the productive option for the people and the reserve became the main ecotourism destination in southern Mexico for the benefit exclusive to its inhabitants.

L

a simple mención de la palabra tiburón, desata una infinidad de emociones. Es uno de los pocos animales capaces de despertar el miedo mas profundo y a la vez infundir respeto reverencial.

Los tiburones son seres legendarios, cazadores increíbles, cuyos cuerpos, de líneas clásicas y dinámicas han evolucionado muy poco a lo largo de 400 millones de años.

Los mese de agosto a noviembre , se supone que son los mejor mes del año para ver a los grandes tiburones blancos, que llegan a la isla de Guadalupe año tras año, detrás de su alimento favorito, los lobos y elefantes marinos.

Salimos del puerto de Ensenada, conforme avanzábamos el mar se mostraba más alegre. Ahora solo queda esperar a que transcurran 24 horas de navegación, devoramos con lentitud las 260 millas náuticas, y por fin después de 22 horas de navegación a lo lejos avistamos, entre nubes a la Isla Guadalupe Enraizada a 4500 metros de profundidad y con una edad aproximada de 8 millones de años, emerge este pico volcánico de 1300 metros de altura.

La Isla de Guadalupe es la ultima frontera de México en su extremo occidental y septentrional. En el lado sur o campo sur se encuentra un destacamento de la Secretaria de Marina. que cuida con esmero la soberanía nacional.

Al oeste en una bahía bellísima, viven una comunidad de pescadores de abulón y langosta.

Su población varía dependiendo de la temporada de pesca, cuenta también con una pequeña pista de aterrizaje en donde se encuentran restos de un avión que no pudo regresar. llegamos al atardecer a la bahía de la Rada Norte, mientras miembros de la tripulación arrojaban el ancla otros preparaban la carnada para atraer al gran tiburón. Aunque cueste creerlo por la leyenda urbana tan intensa en contra de los tiburones, los ataques contra los seres humanos son muy raros. Se considera mas probable morir de una picadura de abeja que por mordida de un tiburón.

Con tristeza me dice, que, a pesar de la posición del tiburón blanco como depredador tope en la cadena alimenticia, la especie esta seriamente amenazada.

A partir de ese momento reafirmo mi compromiso de tratar de defender por todos mis medios posibles a esos pobres animales, que son masacrados por millares y muchas veces tan solo por el miedo que infunden a los hombres. Nuestro tiempo de estancia en ese paraíso mexicano se termino, teníamos que emprender el largo regreso a el puerto de Ensenada.
