How to access your online Library account You can access your Library account from the online Library catalogue.
Ask for your PIN at the Library Issue desk or over the phone.
To access the online Library catalogue you can: - go directly to http://library.dbs-students.com OR - go to http://www.dbs.ie, click on the ‘Current Students’ tab then click on the ‘Library’ icon. When you are on the Library website, click on ‘Library Resources', then ‘Library Catalogue’. Click on the Heritage logo and the search screen will then appear.
1 - Click on the login icon. The online Login page will open up. 2 - Enter your student number and PIN

You are now logged in. If you conduct a search whilst logged in and find a book your require that is unavailable you can reserve the book by selecting the reserve button.
If you wish to check your account, simply click on the Reader Info icon and the details of your account will appear as shown below.
1 - You can then renew your books by ticking the corresponding box for each book you have borrowed. If you are not permitted to renew your books, a message will pop up giving you the reason why the books can not be renewed.
2 - You can also check if you have reserved any books and your borrowing history. 3 - If you have fines on your account, these will show up as well on the top of the screen. Note that you will not be able to renew your books until the fine is paid. You can pay your fine on the phone with a debit/credit card.
