The proposed Hospital Pengajar UPM (HPUPM) will be used as a teaching hospital for UPM’s medical students. It has 11 disciplines and more than 30 subspecialty services focusing on 4 niche areas- Stroke, Zoonotic Diseases, Gerontology and Cancer and will be operating in smart partnership and collaborating with Hospital Serdang.

By having its own teaching hospital HPUPM will be able to provide services to all the new 4 districts catchment area which are Hulu Langat, Sepang, Putrajaya and Petaling; encompassing towns of Kajang, Serdang, Seri Kembangan, Puchong, Putrajaya, Semenyih, Beranang and Putrajaya as well as to the neighbouring state of NegeriSembilan.
