Sign-up in the Youth rooms if you can. The Explorer’s Class - “Paul, Luther and Wesley: Our United Methodist Heritage” is continuing for the next 2 weeks at 9:00 a.m. in the Adult Room. Come and join us as we discuss how Paul & Luther influenced the Methodist Movement and helped to shape the UMC of today. Jane Baker leads this series. The 10:30 Contemporary Issues Class will discuss the question, “Can one be a Christian without being a Theist?” Most Americans believe in God, but the was we picture that God reveals much about ourselves. We will examine our diverse visions of the Almighty and why they matter. Come to 50+ on Friday, Nov. 19 th, at 12:00 noon in the Shalimar Country Club Restaurant. The Rev. Helen Jenkins will review the book Women on War from the Social Action category of the UMW Reading Program. Annual Fall Food Drive The Fall Food Drive will be held Sunday, Nov. 21. Empty Grocery bags will be distributed on Nov. 7 and 14. We will have a refrigerated truck available for TURKEYS! Please return your “full” bags and frozen turkeys on Thanksgiving Sunday, Nov. 21, when the food will be blessed following each worship service.
