Contemporary Issues - The 10:30 Adult Contemporary Issues Class is studying the book and video program “The Question of God” by Dr. Nicholi, Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. The program studies the lives of Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis. Their arguments are placed side-by-side, on the study of belief in a supreme being. How to Behave So Your Children Will, Too! - The Monday Moms & Dads Group will begin a 5-week study of this book by Sal Severe on Monday, Feb. 1st, from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. in Room 111. Family Promise - Sign-up sheets are available after worship services today for Family Promise, a transitional housing program shared by many congregations in the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan area. Caregiver’s Support Group - This group meets on Wednesday evenings in the Library from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Come join us if you are wanting to know about community resources for care, wish to join in discussion with others who are in a caregiving role, or just want to see how this group may help you. It offers support and education to gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered persons and their families. It also hosts the Tempe PFLAG group meeting each first Friday of the month. Our clergy can provide the names of “Connections” members for you to contact.
