(Lyrics printed below) (Please follow the Pastors out to the patio for the dedication of our food offerings)
LYRICS Let all things now living a song of thanksgiving to God the Creator triumphantly raise, who fashioned and made us, protected and stayed us, who guides us and leads us to the end of our days. God’s banners fly o’er us; God’s light goes before us, a pillar of fire shining forth in the night, till shadows have vanished and darkness is banished, as forward we travel from light into light. The law God enforces, the stars in their courses and sun in its orbit obediently shine; the hills and the mountains, the rivers and fountains, the deeps of the ocean proclaim the Divine. We, too, should be voicing our love and rejoicing; with glad adoration a song let us raise, till all things now living unite in thanksgiving: To God in the highest hosanna and praise! *PATIO FELLOWSHIP Please Join Us for Refreshments on the Patio *Those in the congregation who are able shall stand

ANNOUNCEMENTS BE A PART OF THIS MINISTRY We invite you to explore the Dayspring family by attending our next NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION class. To register for the class, or for more information, please contact Carol Coleman at email@example.com or (480) 838-1446. Charge Conference - Dayspring’s annual Charge Conference will be held tomorrow evening, Nov. 19th, at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. All Dayspring members are invited to attend. All Hands on Deck! The Trustees are asking for volunteers to spend a morning at Dayspring on Saturday, Dec. 1st, to help us get the campus “shipshape” for the holiday season. So much “stuff” has accumulated at the church that it is in danger of listing to one side! In addition, we have palm trees to trim, gutters to clean, leaves and trash to be removed from A/C surrounds, and other fun projects. If you can help, please contact Rick Drown for details: firstname.lastname@example.org or cell: 480-518-7665. Coffee Hour - Please sign up to host coffee hour at either the 9:00 or 10:30 service. Detailed instructions are provided as well as training for first timers. Contact Jean Peters at 602-252-8146 or email@example.com. Pie Sale Reminder - Please pick up your pies, lemon bars and pumpkin bread TODAY after worship service. Thanks to everyone who ordered a pie from Dayspring Youth Ministries; all proceeds will support our summer mission projects. (If you forgot to order a pie, don’t worry. We have a few extras. Stop by our table and get one before they’re gone!) UMOM Adopt-a-Child Gift Drive - The UMOM Christmas Angel Tree will be on the patio Nov. 18, 25 and Dec.2. Take a green or red gift card from the tree, then purchase an age appropriate gift. We suggest that the gift cost about $15. Return the unwrapped gift with the tag attached to Sunday’s Angel Tree Table or to the church office by Dec. 2. Along with the gift, UMOM is asking for a $1 donation to help provide shelter for each child. The Explorer’s Class on poverty will conclude next week. The many assumptions we have about the poor and the systematic ways we have dealt with this unspoken issue in our society are the focus of this class. Readings from the United Methodist Women’s study book on Poverty as well as DVD segments are used in this series. Nancy Jamison and Bonny Sloane are leading this study at 9:00 a.m. in the Adult Room.
The Adult Contemporary Issues Class is studying and discussing “Mythology, Religion and the Judeo-Christian Tradition.” We are exploring mythology as “literature of the Spirit, a study of the inner life” and examining the function of Judeo-Christian symbols as keys to our spiritual understanding. Class meets at 10:30 a.m. in the Adult Room. Connections - The Connections meeting was rescheduled for TODAY, Nov. 18, at 2:00 p.m., in the Cochise Lounge at Friendship Village, 2645 E. Marvin Arnpriester will lead a study of this book by Mike Slaughter during Advent. The 4-week study begins on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 7:00 p.m. in Room 112. We will be inspired to approach this Christmas differently by focusing on experiencing the peace of knowing God’s presence, the joy of giving sacrificially, and the love of a Savior who gave everything for us. To register for the class, contact Carol Coleman at firstname.lastname@example.org or 480-838-1446. Koinonikos Schedule - The next deadline date for the newsletter is December 15 and will include events in the month of January.
