Inspired from a deco magazine, merged Ideas from two houses to create this one. Modern exterior infrastructure with simple striking design. Merging the idea of a closet and a restroom, with a bright luminance during the day, and a set of deco items that add a certain value to the room

JCI web magazine was created by Davish Dookheet in help to promote the name of the association

Photos were taken during The last meeting at curepipe, the Awards Ceremony Day. A dinner was organized by the members .

Photo was taken at Reduit stadium

The magazine was done using different software's such as Adobe In-design, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. The magazine was done in one week.

The university of Technology organized a competition for the students. A Brochure holder with venue design , a sample Letter and envelope was asked to be designed for a Graduation ceremony.

These were created using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. The venue was Swami Vivekananda at Pailles and the picture was downloaded from a Mauritian website.

This is a book of noise prepared by myself for my assignment of Typography. I made a story Mr. Blue and have used a play of words, color, typography, fonts and letterings and pictures to illustrate the story and match to the theme proposed and with the idea of action made through the story.

D2Art and Deco Gallery (Design to art, 2 times D for deco and design and also D for my name and 2 as I was born on that date) Logo design Every one knows that a logo is important to any business. But a truly effective, well designed logo is so much more. A good logo is recognizable on any form of media and is a logo that future customers can identify and relate to your service and products. I tried to create a logo clean and corporate to elaborate and fancy. D2Art and deco Gallery is a new art based with creative designs. It has just been founded and is located in the centre of Vacoas. It is a small 30 meter feet gallery with various deco items such as modern and contemporary art painting and also crafts and decorative art.

This was also designed to glue on Cd’s and Dvd’s.

The Decibel sound system is a new coming make in Mauritius. A logo was asked to be done to represent the make. This logo was chosen out of the other ideas.

This magazine was made to advertise Mauritius island, and promote tourism in our country. The pictures used was downloaded and the magazine itself was built on Adobe in-design. I also used Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to cut, create, modify, the pictures used and layouts.

This magazine was created for my school teacher

My Architectural Structural Works Palmeraie Luxury Villa B.I.P Building (Grand Bay) Bungalow at Pte aux Cannoniers

Presented by Davish Dookheet

This area is very lively and Is very attractive, the Bar is made from solid concrete, behind the bar is a wall and a hollow part in which a neon is placed that will reflect on the wall at night. The bar is open from the kitchen and from the other side too. The most interesting part is that with the sliding door, one can have access to the pool which is just in front of the bar. Everything was worked on Google Sketch up and at the right bottom, you can see a more realistic view with shadows.

This part of the infrastructure resides the lounge. A simple range of play of concrete columns that acts as privacy yet letting sun light coming in the lounge. The set of sofa was downloaded from Google Sketch-up itself and color and shape was modified. The large blue tint windows give a beautiful look to the house. The house is open and have access to other places in the building, such as the kitchen or dinning room. A view with shadows give an idea of the lounge in real.

This is the most private part of the house, the bathroom consist of a shower, a bath tub and a toilet. It is very spacious and all the sanitary equipments and are to human size, according to the drawing. The only thing that should be included in the Bathroom was the tiles and a proper wall paint. A more realistic view with shadows is shown and a window is built in the wall to let light pass through.

The sleeping room is my favorite as I would have dreamt of having a view on the reflecting water of the pool when am in bed. Yet an electric curtain need to be installed, to avoid view from the outside windows and light. The structure of the room is not common. A plasma screen is placed on the wall facing the bed, and the cupboard would have been better integrated in the wall. The flooring is polished concrete.

The open kitchen and dinning area Is quite special, like the American homes. I really like this contact as there is an easy accessibility to whichever part of the house through this corner. The stairs brings to the first floor. This kitchen table is made from solid concrete, and built standard in way the equipments fit in, such as the oven gas cook. The fridge is incorporated in the cupboard which door is sliding in function.( A view of the kitchen is table is shown)

The design and structure of the building is very attractive and uncommon. I have made researches and tried to create something new as a designer. The structure in wireframe, monochrome, hidden line and shaded with texture. (The one with shadows would give you a better idea.)

One acre of land have been divided and shared for 2 restaurants and 1 discotech. Each of the infrastructures have their own parking and can accommodate up to 300 cars.2722 meter square is free land for future project. A Drawing was done and different plans, to come to this.

!st plan was rejected.

2nd Plan approved.

This was a garage for lorries and I was suggested to redesign it into a store for furniture and the 1st floor into an office. There was no building plan, and the easiest and quickest way to deal with a plan, a 3D one was Google Sketch-up. I gathered all measuring details with the help of a friend. This was my first real plan on sketch-up. I started with the base and column, the structure then built up the walls, doors and windows. The stairs was attached to the building. A door bring you under the stairs, a room where one can stock things. The 1st floor plan was quickly done and I suggested the owner to use wood structures to make the offices, as one can change the layout of the upper floor when he wants. A view of the second floor is shown on the next slide. It will be furnished after construction, I have place the sanitary equipments to have an idea about the area space and human figures to get the real size.

The inside structures Is made of wood.

Different Views

Another Project of a Bungalow at Pte aux Cannoniers At First the Client wanted to built a house of 200 meters square. We designed on auto-cad the way he wanted his house to be, but the client was having some problem to visualize the house by just looking at the 2D plan, so I propose him using Google sketchup the plan in 3D, which is the plan you can see bottom left of the slide. The house seems too large and he was not satisfied, so I proposed a 1 storey house of 200 meters square. I made up a plan and he came and we did the modification virtually. He was very satisfied with the new plan, and he feel that he designed his own house. (The new house plan is shown on the next slide.) As you can see in the figure on this slide, the upper drawing is an auto- cad drawing drawn by myself and the same plan would can view it basically from a top view on a 3D program, the plan is the same but the advantage of working with a 3D program help a user to visualize what he is working with better.

The interior of the house is very charming and welcoming. Its is not a huge house but suitable for a family of 3 children. Stair case was designed by me.
