Clipper sponsors breakfast with Santa BY SHALYN ROBERTS Clipper Staff Writer LAYTON — The Davis County Clipper, Davis Conference Center and Kohl’s Department store are sponsoring breakfast with Santa this Saturday in an effort to gather cans of food for the Food Pantry. On Saturday, Dec. 12, breakfast with Santa begins at 9 a.m. The Davis Conference Center will host the breakfast buffet until 11 a.m. “We do this event, and turn the space around for our busiest night of the year. It’s a big, big day, but it’s when we do our best work,” said Davis Conference Center catering director David Hilliard.

In addition to this year’s breakfast, several choirs will be performing, including the Beehive Statesmen. This year’s activities will also include face painting, cookie decorating and magical entertainment. To help others during this holiday time, residents are asked to bring a can of food for a a ticket for a free night’s stay or restaurant meal for your family. All proceeds will go to benefit the Bountiful Community Food Pantry. Ticket prices are $16.99 for adults age 15 and older, $10.99 for children 5 to 14, $14.99 for seniors 60 and older and children four years old and younger get in free.
