Davidson Housing Coalition “The mission of the Davidson Housing Coalition is to work with the larger community to preserve and create affordable housing options, and to prepare families and individuals for financial stability and homeownership.”

Opportunities DHC has a number of ongoing volunteer needs, which include the following: • • • • • • • • •

Social media and e-mail marketing- creating content for social media and engaging with followers; create client success stories to share DHC’s impact with the community; assist with e-mail marketing Implement a DHC website overhaul (WordPress platform)- assist with increasing the functionality and visual appeal of the site Organize/ support fundraising events- Holidays for Hope and Housing (off-campus) and Souper Bowl (on campus) Community Education and Outreach – Help DHC develop a campaign to inform the Davidson community about affordable housing North Mecklenburg County Homelessness Task Force– Join our effort to address homelessness Conduct data analysis of housing needs in the community Identify and apply for grants Maintain donor database Perform administrative tasks
