When all the lights are flashing orange on the extender The sole purpose of the range extender is to extend the signals from the main wireless router to dead zone or the area where you are getting a very poor signal so that you can enjoy or cherish the internet service without any disruption. In the wireless range booster all the four solid green lights indicates that the range booster is up and running. However you may experience a sudden change in the lights of the LED panel of the extender that all the solid green which is stable somehow begins to flashing amber or orange. It could also instead of showing blinking amber light may show solid orange light. Having said that, you will still have the extended network being shown in the list of the wifi like your wireless desktop, laptop, Ipads, iphones, smart t v , kindle, roku, android phones and so on, but when you try to connect it, you will have unsuccessful establishment of the extended network connection. This usually happens when you have another extender plugged in at the same time where IP (internet protocol) tends to conflict, or the firmware needs to updated or the range booster has got some physical damage. Solution Therefore in order to sort out the issue that you are facing regarding the same, the very basic step is to log in to mywifiext.net to check the configuration status. If you are not able to log in to the mywifiext set up page, then you need reset the extender, which you can do it by a tooth pick or a paper clip. You need to unplug the extender and plug in the extender in the same room where the router is. Insert the paper clip or the tooth pick in the factory reset pin hole (while it is plugged in), push it hard and hold it for 30 to 40 seconds. You will see the all the lights will go out and you will have one solid green light on the extender. Following you need to log in to the mywifiext.net set up page, start from the scratch by creating the account, and continue the set up procedure. And finally you will see that your extender will have all the solid green lights back again. In the scenario where you already have another Netgear extender, then in that case you need to change the extended network name and assign a different network name in order to stop the confliction. If still it does not connect and the extender goes back to same blinking amber light, then you need to check for the firmware update. Log in to the mywifiext.net and go to the firmware option. If a firmware update is required then you will see an option to update the firmware. The firmware update process takes approximately 2 minutes. After the firmware update is completed then you are expected to have the entire solid green lights lid up on LED

panel of the wireless range booster. If you are still getting all the lights as flashing or solid amber then you can approach the Netgear support helpline from mywifiext.net. https://www.mywifi-exts.net/
