Rather than write a lot of words about our philosophy I have decided to let a couple of members write about us from their own perspective. Jan Stetina, who is a qualified Nutritionist and has been on our program for over 10 years, wrote the first one.

What is the Maples-Osage connection at the School of Longevity? (letter from a life member after visiting M.-O.-M.) I address this to members who are new to Maples-Osage concepts and have been searching for a health and longevity program. First we must clarify, for a few of you. We do not replace your doctor-assigned prescriptions, we augment them. In reality your body systems have been denied adequate basic needs for so long that they can no longer "borrow from Peter to pay Paul." And most physicians assign drugs, hoping for a correction. However, as your body responds to augmentation with recognized natural nutrient factors, it may be that your need for routine prescriptions will decrease. You must be monitored by your chosen physician because detoxifying will hopefully be a slow process (fast could be somewhat severe) thereby requiring patience and persistence. We cannot help it when you get better; we do not claim to "cure." We only support body systems by natural non-toxic nutrition. Medical drugs can buy time while the body regains equilibrium. However only the body heals itself. No chronic metabolic problem was ever cured by foreign drugs, but only by factors normal to internal ecology. A full Maples-Osage program is a custom tailored assessment and advisement for nutrition and modules, tailored individually to be highly specific for each member desiring this service. The analysis of your magnetic field defines the accurate choice of your individually formulated nutritional sprays. In the same format, individually formatted nutritional "unblockers” are also assigned which help the rest of the program to work better. The “unblockers” work on our cellular memory which have computerized our total life experiences – emotional and physical (even specific incidents). In reality we are spiritual beings manifesting in wonderfully made holograms – magnetic fields of spinning molecules. Our immune system must be honored by honest basic foods and protected from the strange foreign molecules of pollutants in our food and environment – antibiotics, insecticides and foreign contaminants. We use foods, which are free of man-made manipulation, or pesticides and/or genetic alterations. We use animal products which are free of all commercial chemicals. We are concerned with the lack of quality in our water and air. The radiation and electronic “smog” which engulf us are also very disturbing.


Vegetarianism for a brief time is often a good way to clear out metabolic pathways. Due to human diversity of blood, body types and enzyme systems, most people cannot adapt to ongoing vegetarianism. Your body type will be reflected in your metabolic readout that is covered in the suggested nutritional regime. In addition to the magnetic field readout, some hard evidence is obtained from the Urine and Saliva measurements. Over thirty years ago a "Think-Tank" of nine professionals with scientific backgrounds formulated a method of evaluating the human body without reverting to the invasive method of drawing blood. This would make it available to the lay public who wanted to check their own metabolic systems before illnesses might manifest in unfortunate situations. As you intelligently follow the Maples-Osage program, your subsequent Urine and Saliva measurements are a significant guide of your metabolic progress, internal efficiency and harmony. The entire idea of Maples-Osage is to teach members how to live to their best advantage with less stress. Less stress is the total key. With less stress the cells replace optimally and last longer. If the cells last longer and replace slower, you have more cycles for the cells to replete themselves and as the cells replete themselves at a slower pace you will live better and longer. When reviewing or considering any program or different method, where the product is made and how the product is made will affect body chemistry and body magnetics. Our vitamins, minerals, blue water (cucoon water), skin spray, herbs and teas are potentized and magnetized to oscillate on complementary frequencies. Once your body is completely changed to these frequencies, it will help process your foods and other products to fit into these frequencies. It is interesting to watch people try to take calcium and iron supplements from other sources - how they reverse and go down hill. Other supplements and substances have not been made or put into our special magnetic fields. Even taking iron, potassium, or other supplements sometimes works totally against the Blue Cucoon Water and totally against supplements that we have. Therefore, it becomes a struggle to maintain a balanced chemistry. The magnetics of the body receives two different signals and remains confused. If you do take supplements it is best to take them separated by six hours in order to minimize the clash of magnetic fields. Blue Cucoon water will help to minimize the magnetic effects of the foreign materials and supplements. Please realize that you might sometimes undergo a set back in any present problem for which you are coming to Maples-Osage School. Our educational programs are mainly for prevention and maintenance. Most people do not bother to practice prevention. They want to get rid of headache, itch, rash, stomachache or discomfort. It's interesting that most people repair their car when it's broken. We prefer to maintain a car and not to have to repair it. But it is difficult to convince people to do that with their body as well as their car. Body maintenance is the most important activity that we can practice and body


maintenance prevents aging. While on any program you will find that poisons may come pouring out of you and conditions may worsen instead of becoming better. Maples-Osage tries to work at normalizing the body and encourage the immune system to push out the poisons. Many conditions start in the chest or the head and they gradually progress to the hips, the groin, the knees and to the feet. This way is the natural way for poisons to leave the body. Sometimes body chemistry is impatient to balance! All of a sudden symptoms change. Then you have the flu symptoms, cold symptoms, headaches or toothaches. It is very often that something like this happens because the plants that we give you will try to eliminate poisons retained in the body from past (stored) abuses. While antibiotics seemed to have helped in the past, their use sometimes drives problems deeper. We shall deal with the resulting subversions in the cell memory of the immune system which did not show when we experienced 'benefits' of antibiotics. However, reexperiencing some of the "stored memory" may carry brief discomfort but no danger. Maples-Osage nutrition does not damage; It is completely safe. We correct the holographic patterns. Our whole system is maintenance by periodically getting rid of radiation, aluminum, mercury, lead and other petroleum toxic substances that contaminate the body. MaplesOsage is the best system that is electro-magnetically controlled and can get rid of these poisons on a periodic basis. Preventive maintenance means seeing your practitioner one to three times a year. Most of our programs are geared to three times a year visits. If we miss you and you stop the program, we may have to start over again every time we see you by giving you some of the same things to keep contaminants and toxins moving out. Cleansing modules are taken and we know what happens. After taking one of these cleansing modules this author experienced a remarkable reoccurrence of appearance (no soreness, however) in an inoculation site. This inoculation was given many years ago at age two. My small scar minutely puffed up in its circle for a week, then disappeared and a dark red ring about three inches in diameter appeared for another week and then disappeared. The next Urine and Saliva test showed that for the first time my liver and kidneys were functionally more normal. That got my attention. The Liver-Kidney connection was goods news since our goal is longevity without serious diseases! This was not psychosomatic on my part, because such a possible event was totally unknown to this author. (Note: There is no inoculation that can be given without a foreign virus present) In cleansing and removing viral hold, this event with inoculation scars has occurred to others. Maples-Osage teaching programs of maintenance are on a schedule. We know that you will get mucous after certain modules, and we know when pimples will pop out.


Sometimes a new symptom needs extra help, so contact Maples-Osage home base for extra help and tuition information. You may be told to take a bath, use skin spray or maintain status quo. It's the junk coming out. Aluminum almost always gives us a rash and dizziness. Lead also brings on a rash when it leaves. Mercury leaving causes problems with the gums, hot flushes, and bowels. We always have to know what is happening so we do not mind if you contact us and inform us of your symptoms. Maintenance is not like an automobile repair. We cannot just throw in a new part. We have to go very slow. Less than three visits a year means you are not on the program fully and making optimum progress. You may be taking our supplements and other products and therefore are maintaining a vitamin program but not a prevention program. Because you are taking the supplements and they are working, you are feeling great but this does not mean you are on the MaplesOsage program. The Maples-Osage program is for prevention. Vitamins alone are not complete prevention. Even maintaining a machine or body does not guarantee 100% immunity. Try to identify the mental, physical and spiritual connection along with all stresses in order that an individualized program can be formulated. Since the Urine and Saliva Tests were conceived, the original resulting insightful, logical, non-toxic, useful methods have been upgraded "light years" by the Maples-Osage team to be even more highly individualized. Much of the knowledge brought into the nutritional program is from Native American wisdom. May I add a note here that when visiting the Maples-Osage farm in Kansas, my husband and I met a medical doctor (forensic specialist) who was there from Europe to check out the Maples-Osage methods because The Maples-Osage team had been getting good results not seen in her locality. Could we be "light years ahead"? Everybody is a "laboratory of one." Lets find out. David Lincoln, a psychologist from London, England, wrote the next paper. David has traveled the world researching alternative and complementary therapies for his book “A Confusion of Therapies.” This book is an encyclopedic listing of over 500 different therapies. Yet for his own prevention education, he chose to come to us here at M.-O.-M.


Christmas New Year 1999-2000 This year I decided to spend Christmas and New Year with my friends at the Maples Osage Research Farm and Teaching Institute. This would not be my first visit so I was quite familiar with the routine and the principles upon which the farm operates. I like this place because they have a gentle, natural approach to obtaining and maintaining good health. More later. I arrived on November 30th 1999 and, after a few days to get over jet lag, I began to develop a daily routine. Every one is different and as such requires a different approach to health, so although some of the regime described for me may be the same for another, some may not. I weighed in at 205 lbs clean shaven and ready to start. My daily routine consisted of starting the day with a nice hot tub for about 7 minutes, long enough to open the pores of the skin and just start a sweat. Straight after the hot tub I would go under the ultra violet lights which kill any skin-based bacteria. After 10 minutes or so I would then have a twenty minute session on the electromagnetic therapy machine followed by an hour of gentle exercise in the gym. Also in the morning I would take a green drink made from a mixture of vitamins, minerals and countless other goodies made fresh at the farm. This along with my daily intake of vitamins and minerals and with the occasional boost of other substances became my daily routine. All the vitamins and minerals taken were made here at the farm. I was tested by way of Urine, Saliva and Muscle testing (applied kniesiology) as to the dosage that was appropriate for me. To supplement this routine I took a Colonic irrigation about every three days and was given several homeopathic unblockers and other homeopathic preparations all designed to release the toxins, viruses and bacteria that get stored in the fat cells of the body. The basic Natural principle involved here is quite simple - remove all the toxins, viruses, bacteria and various other unwanted substances from the body while at the same time be very careful as to what you put into the body by way of food and drink. Therefore diet plays a very big part in this detoxifying routine. I could (and probably will) write a whole book based on the diet alone but for the moment let us simplify it down. There are a few golden rules about diet. These are what you should NEVER eat: 1. No refined sugar nor anything made from it. 2. No wheat nor anything made from it. 3. No white potato nor anything made from it. 4. No artificial flavorings or preservatives. 5. No artificial colorings. 6. No rapeseed oil (Canola oil). 7. No saccharin, aspartame or flavor enhancers. 8. No MSG (monosodium glutamate) This is not by any means a definitive list of things not to take but merely the more important ones.


Another important rule of diet is change. This means to change the food you eat on a daily basis. There are also a lot of special foods to take which help to detoxify the body and some to help replace the cells in internal organs. Anyway, back to my story. So I am now established into my routine, designed so that it will slowly and naturally detoxify the body. One of the new pieces of equipment installed at the research farm is a revolutionary new microscope that is able to magnify human blood to 30,000 times. This enables the blood to be examined live. This has not been possible before as the only way to get to this level of magnification was via an electron scanning microscope and all items had to be stained and were therefore dead when examined. My blood was examined and I had the dubious honor of having the worst blood ever seen. A very worrying situation. You can see a picture of my blood below left compared to a picture of normal blood below right.

I will not go into a detailed analysis of the blood problem here. Suffice to say that it was not good. It was decided to put me on a course of a mixture of Homeopathic Camphor and Nitrogen designed to clean the lymphatic system. This was taken on a daily basis. The regime continued as described along with a colonic irrigation every three to four days. A few days after Christmas I was having a routine colonic when half way through there was, what I would describe as, an eruption from deep inside my colon. This culminated in a flood of fluid which burst out all over the table and onto the floor. I thought it would never stop. On examination it contained a pink, fleshy substance. I was very impressed with my colonic therapist, who, being up to her elbows in muck (polite word), carried on with true professionalism.


After this incident I broke out into a true healing crisis. My body reacted by going into a state of shock and my temperature rose to 102 degrees. I went straight to bed. The next day I had another Colonic which was a virtual repeat of the day before. Again half way through, another flood even more than before. Even more pink fleshy type substance pouring out. It was decided that this was the breaking away of a growth in the colon, a definite, pre-degenerative condition. The fever continued. I returned to bed. On the third day of my fever the colon returned to normal and no more fleshy stuff came out. The third night I sweated so badly that I woke up at 3am. and was in a virtual swimming pool. Not knowing where the clean sheets and blankets were and not wanting to disturb the household, I put all my bedding in the dryer whilst I took a hot tub at 3am. My fever continued for eight days and nights. Also at this time I developed violent headaches and could taste toxins pouring out of my teeth sockets. Soaking my mouth in a disinfection solution for ten minutes and then in a solution of tea tree oil for ten minutes treated this. This was done three to four times a day. My fever continued for eight days and left me very weak. But thanks to the diet and the care and attention received I slowly recovered my strength. My blood was tested again, and you can see the results below:

This is not perfect yet but I am sure will improve as time goes on. Wednesday 12th January 2000 - weight now 188lbs and I have grown a beard. I am still a little weak but all the fever has now gone. I am returning to my full daily routine as my strength returns. During the rest of January, I slowly began to recover my strength and began to feel fairly normal (normal for me that is). My next blood test in early February showed no significant improvement and I began to wonder why. After further discussions the subject of my teeth came up again as I was having some difficulty clearing up a gum infection. I


remembered that many years ago I had a couple of root canal fillings prior to having two teeth capped. This was suspected of being the root of the problem (pun intended). I paid a visit to a local dentist who examined my teeth and gums and confirmed the presence of a minor gum infection and said that it could be adequately treated with ultrasound. I asked if he would or could remove the two root filled teeth. He was very reluctant to do this as he said that he could find nothing wrong with them. On my insistence he x-rayed them and further decided that as one had a rather bulbous root he was not able to remove that one. In the end I had the ultrasound treatment and left. I was secretly glad that he would not or could not remove my teeth as I have a morbid fear of teeth removal due to a couple of very bad experiences some years ago. In early February I had to return to London for an important business meeting and promised the staff here that I would investigate my teeth further with my own dentist in the UK. I returned to London on the 7th February and saw my dentist on the Friday following. My dentist is also a personal friend and runs a very progressive practice with his twin brother. A few months ago I had lent him the book – Root Canal Cover-up – so he was well aware of my interest and feelings in this matter. He told me that the x-rays did show some infection under the tooth although this had been stagnant for some time. Indeed the x-ray taken a year or so earlier showed the same amount of toxin pool. However he well understood my concern and was quite happy to remove the pair, which, incidentally, were next to each other on my lower right side. An appointment was made for me for the next day. Three quarters of an hour will be needed, he told me. My dentist is very good with nervous patients and uses modern techniques including ‘happy gas’ and hypnosis. I was much more comfortable with the thought of him removing my teeth. I arrived at the appointed time and after some small talk I settled in the chair. The ‘happy gas’ was administered and the hypnotic music was playing. The dentist had done a good job of deadening the tooth and his hypnotic commands were working well. The first tooth came out quickly and easily. I was happy. The second tooth (the bulbous one) was not so easy. After some attempts to remove it the dentist decided to use the drill to split it down the middle. To cut a long story short, three hours later I got out of the chair with three stitches and a very sore jaw. The dentist told me that the tooth kept splintering and that they (yes, I had both brothers working on me together) had to drill the entire tooth bit by bit out of my jawbone. After that episode I went home to sleep. I was in a lot of pain for the next couple of days. The dentist told me that it was IMPERATIVE that I take antibiotics. I did not, instead I took an immune tablet and an immune 111 tablet three times a day. Both these are made at the farm and are available to M.-O.-M members. These tablets are specially made to fight off infections.


The day before I returned to the farm a very painful eruption occurred in not only an embarrassing place but also a painful place for sitting! It was even more painful on the day of travel and 13 hours in two planes was almost as much as I could stand. However I made it back to the farm and following an inspection I was informed that I had hemorrhoids (piles). It would appear that after the teeth were remove there was a great rush of poisons and toxins into the body and these toxins and poisons can settle anywhere depending on your weaknesses and history. In my case it seems that my weakest place was my ‘bum’. A special concoction of herbs and minerals was prepared for me and I soaked in a hot bath with a cupful of this mixture in it. This I did every day for the next 7 days or so. After allowing a day for me to recover from the flight my blood was tested again. The difference was truly amazing although not perfect yet there was a marked improvement as I think you can see.

These pictures show what the removal of root canal teeth can do for you. Although the cells look good the integrity of them is not great and they began dying after a few hours. Good quality cells will remain in good condition for up to 3 days outside the body. February 23rd weight 177 lbs. Feeling much better, hemorrhoids almost gone and energy returning to normal. March 13th weight 174 lbs. Feeling terrific, hemorrhoids completely gone and feel full of energy. No need for afternoon naps anymore. My blood is now normal or better than normal. I am preparing to leave now, having been here for three months. I will miss the place and in particular the cooking. Over 50% of the healing comes from the food. A cookbook is being produced and should be ready in a few weeks. This first book will be concentrating on soups. Although it contains only soup recipes it also contains many helpful hints and other information any one piece of which will be well worth the purchase price. Its name is Soup Our Survival.


Below is the latest picture of my blood.

As you can see this shows a great improvement. The cells are clear and have good integrity. I now consider the three months I spent here to be the best investment of time, money and energy I have ever spent in my 50 plus years on this earth. It now appears as though the viruses and toxins stored in my fat cells and tissues are gone or at least in check. It is hard to explain to others just how important prevention is, especially when they feel well. If you want to live to a good age or if you just want to be free of pain and any of the major dis-eases of life, then now is the time to start an active prevention program. I have only been able to scratch the surface with this little article. There are so many things to take into consideration and as I have already pointed out every Human Being is different and has different needs, therefore all prevention programs have to be designed to fit in with an individual’s specific life history. The Story of Harry When I left the South a client (Harry) aged 96 had been with me for about 20 years. Harry had a great program and was alert and vigorous in every way. Harry felt he needed direction (a millionaire several times over) and sought other professional help. The new physician (age 46) told Harry that he was paying too much attention to his body – relax exercise only once or twice a week. He said “Look at me, I just maintain a good diet, take no supplements, unless a problem arises.” Harry was feeling great at 96, still working and running a business six days a week. He took the new doctor’s advice and it worked – except in three months anaemia appeared (old age diagnosis). Nine months, osteoporosis appeared – broke a leg. Needless to say, I last talked to him about eight years ago. He was bedridden and attended by the same physician plus an entourage of attendants, nurses and much medication – of course no supplements. Well I felt sorry for Harry as he did not take my advice but he rationalized and assumed that the more you pay the better the service. I was too cheap! Harry flew me in to see him and give my opinion on his new condition. My opinions are always honest, frank and to the point. I told him that at his age one day is like a week of punishment to a younger person. Regeneration takes seven to ten times longer. We parted friends and I think I said, “It’s up to God”. Harry laughed and said, “I’ll make it. There is no God.” I certainly hope Harry found his salvation and peace. Harry taught me many lessons: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9.

Moderation. Change and routine. Cleanse the Colon (Harry stopped after I retired). Regular alternative days of exercise or swimming. Regular supplements do pay off in the aging person (we consistently age after 26 years and 9 months, the age of maturity). Money does not buy health. Health comes from within, spiritually and metabolically, from the colon, digestive tract and brains. Look at the person’s personal successes and question the nature of all advice being given. Quick expensive relief usually brings undesirable consequences in the long term. Ask a successful person. “How did you do it?” They are living proof. Change all actions to fit your own needs. How long to live? How long to be healthy? What is worth everything?

Some people are professing spiritually but think of only temporal issues and are temporal. Set priorities and goals to fit the past mistakes, your present body and formulate all future goals for a living success. Balance – Work – Play – Rest – Love. Keep your heart satisfied for service to God who lets us exist. It’s better to give than receive and to help those who give – in doing so we receive. 18

I failed at teaching Harry about this spiritual life. He rejected every attempt I made to reconcile him with his wife (they lived together but never spoke). Love – Harry never learned. He really was nice in many ways though but stomped his way to success and thought his money could buy anything. He tried his tricks with me. Holding a ‘carrot’ to get me to give him extra privileges – services. When Harry found that I was really not ruled, swayed or governed by money he truly trusted me and I could help him. There we were - a millionaire and a struggling doctor who could just barely pay bills because of a large family and money ‘poor’ patients – the best of friends. Harry trusted me in all of his health problems. Oh! But Harry went also to the best diagnostic clinics to check on me at first. Five years into our prevention program Harry was 100% OK. When I retired 20 years after first seeing Harry, he was 96 and behaved like a 50-year-old in most ways. Harry, whichever way or wherever your spirit went, I thank you for knowing you. Harry reinforced some of my original beliefs or teachings: 1. Money is not first -- God and love are. 2. The body God gave us is our second obligation. 3. Our family is the next obligation. 4. The love of service and dedication to work is last.

Soup Our Salvation Reasons why Soup is the Survival Food – Soup helps to reduce Stress - Mental, Physical and Nutritional Stress. Soup can be manipulated, taste-wise and health-wise to heal and extend life. The longest living people that I have met are not frequent flyers but stay in the same abode and eat soup regularly. Soup can be concocted, 'seasoned,' to improve the general well-being and lengthen the lifespan. The nature of people is to want a magic pill, super exercise, a super food drink and not be concerned with the overall picture of metabolism or health. At M.-O.-M's we want to live, work and play to receive the maximum quality and length of life. This Living and Good Quality living requires our undivided attention. Those not willing to invest in their body only say they are "doing everything they can" but Mouth explicatives do not make for total success. People invest in houses, money, stocks, - which sooner or later all pass away - Watch the Markets folks! Watch the Politics folks. But Bottom line - CARE of Mind and Body is most important. We choose to put our investment in the food, vitamins, thought patterns of caring for each other and the body God gave us. No Adjustment - No Body. "In the world and not of the world". All I hear and see on the media and web are young entrepreneurs telling others how to survive. I took a questionnaire from two groups and according to statistics I was dead ten years ago. Some answers!! and 19

suggestions!!! So much for computers. The programs I have found and tested are not up to SNUFF. M.-O.-M's has to stay years ahead in – supplements. I shall share my soup recipes with you - MEMBERS. We appreciate the support of all members who are on the program. We receive no Research or Development Money from any source except our own dues and herbal donations. The only axe we have to grind or lobbyist to deal with is ourselves and our Longevity - Yours and Mine. Also included in the Soup Cookbook is a list of my Herbal Combinations which can be added to soup for healing or building the body. HEALTHY - HELPFUL HINTS FOR HEALING HARRIED HOMEMAKERS WITH REASONABLE RESTORATIVE RECIPES… There is a need to explain to all members the real method of my food combining and reasons for the fast recoveries of all who visit me on the Research farm. I have found that all things in food and all life that God has given us work harmoniously when used as they were intended. Now, how can we find the right combination? That is the key. Anaemia, Iron Deficiency, Osteoporosis, Whips Adrenals, Chelating Iron in the Digestive Tract for non-absorption. The orange itself is ok in moderation, but drinking juice brings stress on the acid base -- buffer systems. Dilute ½ with water - be moderate. Only marginally better than wheat itself. Use bean flour. Metabolically stresses the insulin pancreas system. Wheat is a double sugar - one teaspoon of wheat equals two teaspoons of sugar, however small amounts of unrefined wheat may be all right for many. Speeds up cell metabolism which ages you much faster, it is a very fast digesting carbohydrate. Not good for the kidneys as it puts extra stress on them . Pancreas, Adrenal, Kidney Killer – Very, Very Moderate use.

Preservatives and Food Colorings should also be avoided – Ascorbic Acid and Annatto are fine. No Poly Sorbates 40, 80 and No Sulfites. 26

Forward or Explanation of This Teaching Manual When I graduated in the early 1930’s a ‘wise’ professor told us at graduation “You have been trained to help alleviate the symptoms of dis-ease. We really do not understand the reasons for individuals succumbing to disease. You graduates can be of help to your patients and loved ones by rediscovering the ‘Nutritive Conditions’ which really cure dis-ease,. when you have ’discovered’ (nothing is really new) that nutrition is the causal factor of all ‘dis-ease, the appropriate cure and application thereof is very difficult. The hardest thing for a Physician to do is to convince people to change habits – Food, Thought or Exercise. If you decide to pursue ‘real’ life and the extension thereof, you will be bucking up against tradition, peers, medicine, and pharmacies, social organizations and all entrenched practices. Remember – Abraham Lincoln died at the Surgeon General’s Hand – because of his rise in temperature after the gunshot. The Surgeon General had to bow down to the ‘accepted practice’ – Take out more blood. If you ‘new doctors’ do not ‘rock the boat’ you will probably be very successful, wealthy and respected. Use ‘accepted practice’ and our associations will always back you up. If you are a ‘real healer’ you probably will be labeled ‘odd, eccentric, strange’ at best – at worst – ‘persecuted’, always in trouble and having to be on the defensive all the time – to stay alive. If you really learn how to help people – do it, keep quiet, prove it to your own satisfaction and then write a book and get out of the business. At least then you can start questions –answers – queries and maybe others will take up your work. Humankind (whatever that is) will be helped.” At Graduating address 1930’s this message sent home a very strong challenge to me. Twenty years later in the late 1940’s – I became ill and had to seek – a cure. I was not satisfied to just have relief from pain and only palliative treatments. My suffering of 55 years is at last relieved. The total complete remission of all problems is being accomplished. I am writing the book of which the good Doctor spoke. My Memoirs. I and many of my ‘friends’ and associates took up the challenge. Most of them had to pursue the goals of Home, Family and Fortune. I chose the lonely road of research - of Truth and Life – only recently have I found some ‘real’ people with the same goals that I have. Although I love my family – I could not pursue the same social attributes as families. I had to learn, research, study, try and look for answers. Now in my mature years – having outlived almost all of my contemporaries, I have several people willing to help in completing the ‘Soup our Survival’ cookbook and Eat for Survival Memoirs. 27

My premise now is the same as my Father’s was, “Son, Do not Fight the Enemy – There are more of them – Only one of you – Smile, Leave, Retreat –Return when they are gone – In other words, Son OUTLIVE your Enemies. –Remember the Book of Job.” My Father and Mother were of Oglala Sioux and Osage extraction. In the 1890’s – a half breed had to become – proficient, a good worker, use brains and not admit to heritage. The only good Indian was a dead one. – So my Father lived to his 90’s and outlived his family, his enemies and enjoyed life – near his end days. I too have had a stormy life – but learned to work hard – enjoy work as play and change work to have ‘play’ work and supportive work – play. Remember – Christ worked as a carpenter – All hardworking people use their talents for different creations – art, music, building, and I was chosen to rediscover Nutrition, Food, Health and the True Meaning of Longevity. – Life – healthy into 200 –300 years is possible. Make do, listen, learn, change, act, love, help – with the true selflessness of a giving heart and be true to “Shepherding all of Life’s Talents and Actions.” Now to the soup!!!!

Soup Stocks

Chicken It is best to make this stock with chicken feet but the whole chicken can be used if feet are not available. Place 7 chicken feet (or whole chicken) in Crock Pot cook for 12 hours on slow heat with 8 quarts of water. Add 1½ teaspoons of Mrs. Dash or Sea salt or Soy Sauce – I change continually. When cooked let it cool down and then bottle for future use, keep in refrigerator (it will keep for about 10 days). I remove the fat from the top of the jellied stock after cooling. The less animal fat the better.

ÊÊÊ ÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊ Beef Place 1-2 pounds of good quality (Organic if possible) split marrow beef bones (rib bones will do) into Crock Pot. Cook on slow heat until very tender (about 12 hours – meat must fall off the bones). When cooked add: I teaspoon of Sea Salt. 1 teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper. 1 can of Tomato Paste (8 ounce). When cooked let it cool down and then bottle for future use keep in refrigerator (it will keep for about 10 days). Remove Fat. Blend meat scraps into stock for thicker soup or gravy.

ÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊ Lamb Place 2 pounds of good quality lamb and lamb bones, (organic if possible), whole Lamb Shanks or Goat into Crock Pot. Cook on slow heat until very tender (about 12 hours, meat must fall off the bones) when cooked and while still hot add: I teaspoon of Sea Salt. 1 teaspoon of Oregano. 1 teaspoon of Dill. 1 teaspoon of Mint. 1 teaspoon of Cardamom. When cooked let it cool down. Remove congealed fat from the top and then bottle for future use. Keep the stock in refrigerator (it will keep for about 10 days). Blend or chop meat into stock for good taste after removing fat. 32

Basic soup 1 quart of Water. 4 tablespoons of Okra (frozen, dried or canned). 1 cup of Chinese Green Beans. 2 cups of Stock Broth. 1 cup Yellow Tomatoes (canned or bottled) or 1 cup of Red Tomatoes. 2 cups of chopped Spinach. Chop all ingredients to desired size. Add 1 quart of filtered water, bring to the boil and cook for 10 minutes. For seasoning use, as desired, Oregano, Basil, Dill, Sea Salt, Pepper and Soy Sauce. Use basic thickener for a richer soup.

ÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊ Basic Thickener for Soups 3 tablespoons of Bean Flour to 1 cup of cold water. Mix Well. Add seasoning of choice to the mix. Use this mix when vegetables have finished cooking and simmer for a few minutes. Be sure to Stir BEAN FLOUR –(IT STICKS FAST) to desired consistency. Does not have to be cooked. Use of Corn Starch is fine but Corn Starch must be thoroughly cooked and careful stirring has to be observed. Corn Starch turns color (clearer) when cooked. It is safe then. No abdominal stress. Lemon or vinegar in the final soup or stew will help prevent gas disorders

ÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊ Basic Sauce to Thicken Soups 3 Eggs. 4 tablespoons of Sesame Oil. ½ cup of Mathia Flour. 1 teaspoon of Garam Masala. 1 teaspoon of Sea Salt. 2 cups of Water. Make a paste with 2 cups of Liquid and add enough to the soup so as to obtain the desired thickness.


Basic Salad 1-2 medium Mangos (peeled), Papayas or firm fruit of your choice (Apple, Pineapple or Pear). 3 Sticks of Celery. ½ Cucumber. ½ cup of crumpled Soft Cheese (Farmers or Ricotta). 1 cup of Sunflower Sprouts or Bean Sprouts. Chop the Sunflower Sprouts and dice the Mango, Celery and Cucumber. Mix all together and add the salad dressing. For variety use or substitute Lettuce, 4 tablespoons of Cilantro or 4 tablespoons of Parsley. This is good for Mucous conditions, Skin conditions or Kidney conditions. For particular health conditions see recipes.


Basic Salad Dressing 1 cup of Sesame Oil. 1 cup of Rice or Coconut Vinegar. 1 cup of Coconut Milk. 1 tablespoon of Sea Salt. 1 tablespoon of Coriander Powder. 1 tablespoon of Fennel Powder. 1 tablespoon of Cardamom Powder. ½ teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper (if desired). ½ cup of Apple Juice or Apple Cider. 1 tablespoon of Honey or Maple syrup. 1 tablespoon of Garlic Granules (dried). Stir all ingredients thoroughly - Bottle and use for salads or fruits for garnish. Shake well before use.


Basic Thickener for Soup and Gravies ½ cup of Apple Juice. ½ cup of Bean Flour. 4 tablespoons of Rice or Coconut Vinegar. 1 tablespoon of Dark Soy Sauce. 1 teaspoon of Sea Salt. 1 cup of Chicken Broth. 2 tablespoons of Lemon. ½ teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper. Mix all ingredients when cold. Add a tablespoon at a time while stirring the soup until you achieve the desired consistency. Box or bottle and refrigerate for future use.

ÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊ Basic Bake Dessert In a large Pyrex 2-3 quart flat baking dish place fruit of choice on greased bottom of dish. If fruit is frozen place in oven, heated to 350°, while preparing topping. Slice or chop fruit of choice - Peaches, Pears, Apples, Berries or Pineapple Chunks. Use 2-3 cups of one or two fruits plus a can of pineapple chunks. Drain fruit juice and season with: 1 tablespoon of Vanilla. ½ teaspoon of seasoning of choice - Cardamom Powder, Nutmeg or Cinnamon. 4 Tablespoons of Honey or Maple Syrup. Pour ½ of the seasoned juice over fruit and spread out. Topping: 2 cups of Bean Flour. 1 tablespoon of Baking Powder or ENO (preferred). ½ teaspoon of Sea Salt. ¼ teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper. ½ cup of Sesame, Sunflower or Safflower Oil. Balance of Juice from cans. 3 Eggs. 2 tablespoons of Natural Sweetener or 1 teaspoon of Stevia. Mix all together. Add enough Apple Cider or Apple Juice to make a pourable batter. Pour over fruit. Bake until crust is firm and brown in preheated oven. Baking time is usually about 30 - 45 mins.


Helpful Hints If a thicker stock is preferred, after cooking and when it has cooled down remove all the meat from the bones. Chop the meat fine and blend with the stock in a blender. This will make a fine pureed meat soup stock. This method can be used with – Duck, Goose, Lamb, Beef or Chicken. I always remove the fat from the top before blending. DO NOT BLEND FAT INTO PUREE it will create a greasy tasting soup and spoil fast. REMOVE FAT FIRST. ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ Pumpkin is one of my standbys for thickening soups. It is rich in carotene and a good cleanser for the Intestines. Pumpkin will go well with sweet or salty soups. ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ Great Northern or Navy Beans in the can (no preservatives except Calcium Chloride) make for a great taste and thick stock when added and blended with other vegetables. ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ If a fresh Chicken, Fish or meat is kept for a few days I usually soak it in a solution of 1 part vinegar to 7 parts of water for 3 minutes rinsing well before use. Make the last rinse in Distilled, Filtered or RO water. ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ Yam Noodles (Sweet Potato Starch) purchased at Asian import stores is the preferred noodle. Good for longevity and is a slower, lower calorie carbohydrate. ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ Always use filtered, distilled or RO water to combat the Fluoride poisoning being done to people today. ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ Wash all commercially bought vegetables in a good veggie wash – Shaklee – Amway – and others that are on the market. Rinse well. The last rinse should be in Filtered, Distilled or RO water. City water is full of impurities. ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ Go easy on Seasonings. They can be added, only once in the pot, they cannot be taken out! You can always add shakey and pepper afterwards. ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ Remember CHANGE is the By-Word. Always change soups and diet each day. If you have leftovers – refrigerate and use 2-3 days later. ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ When using a leftover soup add 5 tablespoons of rice or coconut vinegar and boil the ‘new’ soup for 6 minutes before serving. This boiling will evaporate most of the vinegar and assist in destroying any germs. 36


Lamb needs one or two of the following to offset its subtle Mutton taste: Mint, Cardamom, Orange, Lemon, Cherry (sour), Oregano, or Tamarind. To thicken a Lamb–based soup use one of the following: Urid flour, Soy Bean flour, Corn flour or Green Bean. More Helpful Hints. Beans stick – add Sesame or Safflower Oil to dry beans before cooking. Always cook slowly. If using canned beans – add 2 tablespoons of Sesame or Safflower Oil to a can. It is best to add last to a boiling dish. Turn the heat down low so as to heat the beans slower and Stir, Stir, Stir. Beans pureed can be used in fruits and all soup for added protein. But if adding Beans be sure there is Vinegar or Lemon in the recipe or add these to each bowl at serving. ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ For a tastier soup I sometimes use Nutmeg, All Spice or Cinnamon for a different flavor. These spices go well with Squash, Cucumber, Pumpkin, Lamb, Chicken and Beef based soups. ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ Puree of anything Fresh or Cooked makes for easier and faster preparation. ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ The Crock Pot or Slow Cooker helps in all preparation. I use 3 of them to prepare for several days in advance. Soups, Stocks, Meats, Fowl, Mushrooms, Roots, Vegetables, Squash and Pumpkin all go well in the Crock Pot. You can save all food in the refrigerator for several days in order to save time for making finished soups. Note: Remove any fat from the top of any liquid. Particularly remove any fat that solidifies at room temperature. ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ Always add fresh herbs such as: Ginger, Garlic, Parsley, Cilantro, Basil, Sage and Thyme after removing soup food from the heat so as to retain the full flavor. ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ Most soups can be garnished with something. I use only one thing at a time. You can use – Ground Nuts, Onions, Garlic, Grated Cheese, Chives and Green Onions. Chop any garnish very small so that it floats on the top of your soups. ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ To cook Rice Noodles or Yam Noodles: To three pints of Boiling Water add 4 tablespoons of Olive Oil stir well. Fold your Noodles into the Boiling Water. Turn off the heat and remove from stove. Use a noodle grabber to lift Noodles out and in several times to coat with the oil. Let stand in the hot water for 9 minutes – Do not stir or disturb. Drain and Serve. Add to soups, use as Spaghetti or serve cold added to Salads. Packet) 3 ounces of Black Salt. 2 Tablespoons of Cayenne Powder. 2 tablespoons of Fennel Powder. 1 tablespoon of Cumin Powder. 1 tablespoon of Garlic Powder. 1 tablespoon of Dill Powder. 1 tablespoon of Madras Curry. Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a bowl. Store in tight glass containers. Fill a general all-purpose shaking container – I use a Basting container designed for powdered sugar, the holes are twice as big as salt holes. This can be freely used to season most dishes and can be placed on the table as a condiment in place of salt and pepper. 41

Creamed Asparagus Soup 1 can of Asparagus Tips (green or white). 1 can or 8 ounces of Mushrooms. 1 can or 6 ounces of Coconut Milk or Creamed Coconut. 3 tablespoons of Sesame Oil. 1 quart of Water. Seasonings 1 teaspoon of ground Fennel. ½ teaspoon of Sage. 1 teaspoon of Oregano. 1 teaspoon of Sea Salt or Soy Sauce. ½ teaspoon of Kidney Tea. Blend all ingredients in mixer. Add 1 quart of water and 3 Tablespoons of Corn or Bean Flour while blending. Bring all to simmer and simmer for 7 minutes. If more seasoning is desired - do a Taste Test. Stir to avoid scorching. Possible Spicer-Uppers and Taste-changers - Rice Vinegar or Coconut Vinegar, Red Pepper or Garlic. Use small amounts. You can always add more if more zest is desired. Coconut Mandarin Soup 2 cans of Coconut Milk. 1 pint of Soup Stock. 1 pint of Pure Water. 1 small can of Asparagus. ½ cup of ground Coconut. ½ cup of Celery Leaves. 1 can of Great Northern Beans. 1 teaspoon of Sea Salt. 1 can of Corn. 1 can of Mandarin Oranges. 3 tablespoons of Olive or Sesame Oil.

Tangerine segments are chopped small & served on top of each bowl.

Add juice from the Oranges to all the other ingredients and puree all together. Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Season and garnish with Dill and Parsley. On top of each bowl place chopped Orange Segment – Tangerine or Clementines are best. Serves 6-8 Used for: Kidney, Nerves, Skin and Digestion. 42

Okra, Beans & Tomato Cook together for 15 minutes: ½ cup of chopped Okra. 2 lbs of chopped Green Beans. 3 pints of Chicken Broth. 1 cup of Yellow Tomatoes - canned or bottled (303 size). 1 cup of Red Tomatoes. 4 Bay Leaves. 12 cups of chopped Yellow Squash (grated). Cook on Medium heat for about 15 minutes. Best seasoned with Fresh herbs: Basil, Parsley, Thyme, and Oregano. There is always shakey. Used for: Intestinal tract disturbances, nerves, calming, strengthening, cleansing, kidney support.


Winter Melon Soup 1 lb of chopped Greens. ½ cup of chopped Okra. 1 Winter Melon – peeled diced with seeds removed. 1 can of Mushrooms or 8 oz of fresh chopped mushrooms. 1 large bottle of V-8 Juice. 4 tablespoons of Rice Vinegar. 1 jar or 2 cans of Tomatoes (Yellow Preferred). 1 quart of Chicken Broth. 1 quart of Water. Cook together on medium heat for about 15 minutes. Whilst cooking, mix 1 lb of organic sausage with 3 tablespoons of cornstarch - mold into balls and drop into soup when it has boiled. Tastes delicious over Rice or Yam Noodles. Used for: Cleansing, clearing systems and sustenance soup.


Sweet and Sour Soup 3 tablespoons of Honey or Maple syrup. 5 tablespoons of Rice Vinegar. 1 cup of Veggies (diced). 1 quart of Chicken Stock. 1 teaspoon of Ginger (preferred fresh grated). 1 tablespoon of Chinese Five Spices. Juice of 3 limes or 2 lemons. ½ teaspoon of Red Pepper. The juice of one can of Clams thickened with 4 tablespoons of Thickening of choice. Mix all ingredients together and heat gently till boiling. 2 beaten eggs may be added when boiling and stirred into the soup slowly. Cook for five minutes. Used for: Intestinal Disturbances, Strengthening, Nerve, Kidney Support and Stimulating.


Mushroom and Coconut Milk Soup 1 quart of Water. 1 quart of Chicken Stock. 6 ounces of Mushrooms.Ì 4 Green Onions (chopped). 1 can of Coconut Milk. 4 tablespoons of Miso. 4 tablespoons of Thickening sauce of choice. Ì note: Fresh mushrooms must be thoroughly cooked to not supply yeast or molds – I prefer canned and therefore less cooking time. Mix all the ingredients together and bring to boil. Cook for 5 minutes. This soup goes well with Tilapia Fish (white) cooked in Tomato Juice and Fish Masala Spice. Also good with fresh Fruit Salad – berries, pineapple. Can seasoned with ground cardamom and shakey. Sprinkle all with ground Coconut. Used for: Soothing Intestines, Cleaning and when Recuperating from stresses.


Bratwurst Sausage Soup 1 lb of Bratwurst Sausage and or Cooked Chopped Chicken. 2 cups of Mixed Vegetables. ½ cup of Chopped Okra. 1 can (303) of Tomatoes (red). 2 cups of Squash (home bottled) or fresh Yellow or Zucchini Squash (chopped). 3 cups of V-8 Juice. 3 pints of Water or Stock Broth. Mix all fresh and canned vegetables together and bring to boil. Simmer approximately 15 minutes till cooked. Switch off heat. Add sausage, V- 8 Juice and any already cooked ingredients. Season as desired. Used for: Strength, Building, Kidneys and Minerals.


Egg Plant and Cashew Soup 3 pints of Chicken or Beef Stock. 1 medium Fresh Egg Plant (peeled and diced). 1 lb of Cashew Nuts (whole or pieces). 1 can of Mushrooms. 1 can of Coconut Milk. 1 can of Baby Lima Beans. 1 tablespoon of Black Salt. 1 tablespoon of Fennel Powder. 3 tablespoons of Coconut Vinegar. 1 tablespoon of Masala of Choice (mild, med, hot). Thicken with 5 tablespoons of Rice Flour. Cook for about 12 minutes. Cook Egg Plant and Cashews first for 10 minutes then add other ingredients. Add all seasonings at the end of cooking. This way it holds in the flavor you want and the flavor does not go into the air and get lost. Used for: Protein Builder, Soothing Intestines.


Seaweed and Octopus Soup 1 can of Mushrooms. 1 can of Asparagus. 1 can of Tomatoes. 2 tablespoons of Miso. 1 cup of Buttermilk. 1 cup of Apple Juice. 3 tablespoons of Hijiki (dried seaweed) crumbled. 4 cups of Water. 1 teaspoon of Oregano. 1 tablespoon of Minced Garlic. 1 can of Smoked Octopus or Tuna (Juice and all). 4 tablespoons of Lentil Flour. Add Squid Sauce or Soy Sauce to taste. FRESH HERBS are always welcome. Chopped Green Onion, and Parsley for garnish. Bring to a boil. Boil for 6 minutes and serve. Used for: Minerals, Digestion, Liver and Nerves. ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ

Duck and Deer Soup (or Stew) 4 cups of diced Duck and Deer. (may be all of one kind of meat). 1 cup of Lentil Flour. 3 tablespoons of Arrowroot. 2 tablespoons of Ginger (grated). 2 tablespoons of Mixed Chinese Spices (7 or 5 Spice). 1 tablespoon of Turmeric. 1 tablespoon of Fennel. 1 tablespoon of Oregano. 5 tablespoons of mixed Sesame and Sunflower Oil. 12 ounces of Yam Noodles.(or 16 ounces). Cook the deer and duck meat slowly for 6 hours in crock-pot. Remove grease from the top. Dice into ‘bite’ size pieces. Use 4 cups to serve 6 people. Mix all ingredients (other than the noodles) in a bowl with 2 cups hot water. Bring to the boil. To Cook Yam Noodles: Put Yam Noodles in boiling water, turn off heat and let stand for 10 minutes. For Soup add more Water or Chicken Stock. For Stew to top Noodles, use just enough Water to cook (1-3 cups). Makes delicious gravy for noodles to cling to. To serve Put the noodles in the soup and stir – serve immediately. Used for: Strength, Digestive conditions, back and inflammation. (N.B. - Sesame oil stops animal fat clogging up the Arteries). 46

Squash, Tomato and Mushroom Soup 1 qt of Chicken Stock. 1 can of Tomatoes. 1 can of Mushrooms. 1lb of Squash - fresh or frozen (chopped). 1 tablespoon of Dill. 2 tablespoons of Chives or Green Onions. 1 teaspoon of Sea Salt. Bring to the boil and simmer for about ten minutes, then add 1 can of Coconut Milk. 1 can (6 oz.) of Tomato Paste. Heat a little longer, season to taste and add 2 Leaves of fresh chopped Basil per person. Serves six, if not too hungry, if so add more ingredients next time! Used for: Kidneys, Skin and Nerves. Cauliflower Soup 1 head of Cauliflower. 4 oz. of Dried Papaya. 1 tablespoon of Dill Weed. 1 quart of Water. 1 quart of Chicken Stock.

You can Always add Lemon.

Blend Cauliflower florets in liquid with Papaya and Dill - 3 slices of Pineapple may be added or substituted. Bring to boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Thicken with sauce of choice or make sauce as follows: 3 tablespoons of Bean Flour. 1 tablespoon of Fennel. 1 tablespoon of Oregano. ½ teaspoon of Cayenne. 1 tablespoon of Garlic Granules. 3 tablespoons of Coconut or Rice Vinegar. Used for: Intestinal Healing, Calming, Nourishing and Nerves. 47

Egg Drop Soup 2 quarts of Water. 1 quart of Chicken Stock. 1 can of Coconut Milk. 1 tablespoon of Chinese 7 - Spice. 2 tablespoons of Grated Ginger. 1 can of Peas. 1 can of Mushrooms. 6 Eggs (beaten). 3 tablespoons of Corn Starch or Tapioca Starch. Bring soup to boil and simmer for six minutes. Slowly add eggs to mixture while stirring. Sea Salt or herbal Mixtures may be added to your taste. There’s always Shakey. Floating Island Soup - gourmet - for 6 people 1 can of Pumpkin. 1 quart of Chicken Broth (or Miso Broth). 1 can of Great Northern Beans. 1 can of Straw Mushrooms. 6 tablespoons of Cilantro (fresh preferred). 3 tablespoons of Sesame Oil. 2 tablespoons of Badshah Masala. 1 teaspoon of Sea Salt or Fish Sauce. 1 teaspoon of Haldi Powder. 1 teaspoon of Seaweed. Grind all ingredients together in blender. Bring to boil, pour into soup bowls and serve with the following salad: For each person 1½ Eggs - hard boiled, peeled and chopped. 1 tablespoon of Green Onion (chopped). 1 tablespoon of Ginger (fresh grated). 2 tablespoons of Mozzarella or Cheddar Cheese. Stir Salad and place in center of bowl. Gently pour the soup round the salad and serve. Served with Pumpkin fruit Cookie. Fungus/Seaweed Soup 1 quart of Chicken Broth. ¼ cup of Black Sea Fungus or Nori Seaweed. 1 can of Mushrooms. 3-4 Black Mushrooms – pre-cooked from the Chicken Broth 1 can of Asparagus. 1 can of Great Northern Beans. A few sprigs of Cilantro. ½ teaspoon of Basil (fresh preferred). ½ teaspoon of Thyme (fresh preferred). 1 tablespoon of Garlic Granules. (Serves six) Blend all together. Bring to boiling and cook for 5 minutes. Turn off and serve. Used for: Maintaining Normal Blood Pressure, Balancing Minerals and Cleansing.


Oyster Soup 3 cans or 1 pint of Oysters. (do not chop or blend Oysters) ½ cup of Celery. ½ cup of Cilantro. 1 teaspoon of Sea Salt. 4 tablespoons of Coconut Vinegar. 2 quarts of Milk (prefer Goat, can use powdered Cow Milk). 6 tablespoons of Corn Starch. Mix and heat slowly - near the end of heating add:2 tablespoons of Fleaseed. 3 tablespoons of Ghee Butter. (Serves six) Used for: Strength, Hormone Balance and Heavy Metal Balance.


Fish Soup 2 cups of Zucchini (chopped). 1 can of Mushrooms. 1 pound of Broccoli. 2 tablespoons of Sunflower and Sesame Oil (mixed). 1 can of Salmon. 1 can of Coconut Milk. 1 tablespoon of Fish Masala. 1 tablespoon of Black Salt. 3 tablespoons of Rice Vinegar (may be added for zest). Mix all ingredients and cook for 5 minutes (Serves six) Used for: Essential Oils for Arteries, Cleansing and Nutritive.


Quick Chicken Soup 1 quart of Water. 1 cup of Chicken – diced. 1 cup Chicken Stock. 1 pound of chopped Squash – fresh, frozen or cooked. 2 cups of chopped Greens (Spinach, kale, Chinese Cabbage – your choice). Cook till tender, approximately 7 to 10 minutes, then add: ½ cup of Cilantro – chopped. 1 tablespoon of Shakey or Seasoning of choice. 1 can of Coconut Milk. (Serves six) Used for: Cleansing, Nutritive and Energy.


Pureed Beet Soup 3 Raw Beets (with or without tops) chopped and pureed. 2 quarts of Beef Soup Stock. 1 can of Coconut Milk (grease removed). 3 tablespoons of Vinegar. ½ teaspoon of Cumin. ½ teaspoon of Fennel Seeds. 3 tablespoons of Sesame Oil. 1 tablespoon of Soy Sauce. ½ teaspoon of Cardamom Powder. 1 pureed chopped Carrot. 1 can of Soy Tomato Paste. 1 pint of Pure Water. Blend – puree all ingredients together bring to boil and cook for 8 minutes stirring all the time. Serves six to eight Used for: Liver, Blood, Digestion and Mineral Rich. Pumpkin Soup 1 quart of Water. 1 can of Pumpkin. 1 Quart of Stock of your choice. 1 cup of sliced Mushrooms. ½ cup of Diced Onions. ¼ cup of Cilantro. 5 tablespoons of Moong or Yellow Lentil Flour. ½ teaspoon of Sea Salt. 1 tablespoon of Basil. 1 tablespoon of Masala Chana or Pav Bhaji. 1 teaspoon of Fennel. 1 teaspoon of Oregano. Blend all ingredients, except Mushrooms and Onions, together. Put into a pan with the mushrooms and bring to the boil. Cook for 5 minutes. The onions can be caramelized or added raw to the finished soup. Serves six to eight Used for: Cleansing, Kidneys, Skin and Vermifuge.


Chicken and Fish Gumbo 3 cups of Water. 8 cups of Chicken Soup Stock. 1½ lbs of chopped Chicken. 1 pound of White Fish chopped (or may be a can of Pink Salmon). 1 tablespoon of Fish Sauce (Squid). 1 cup of Pumpkin Puree. 1 pound of Beef Sausage (or Chicken Sausage). 2 stalks of Celery (chopped small). 2 cups of chopped Okra. 1 cup of chopped Bell Peppers. 1 teaspoon of Sea Salt. Combine all ingredients together, bring to the boil and simmer for 15 minutes. Add Cayenne and Masala to suit taste. Serves 8 Used for: Intestinal Discomfort and Rebuild. Tuna Fish Soup (a quick easy soup) 1 quart of stock (your choice – Fowl, Beef or Lamb). 1 can of Tomatoes. 1 can of Tuna (may substitute Sardines or Mackerel). 1 can of Butter Beans (or great Northern Beans). 2 Eggs (beaten). 2 tablespoons of Fish Sauce (Squid preferred). Blend all ingredients together, bring to the boil and boil for 7 minutes. Turn off heat then add: ½ cup of Cilantro (chopped fine). 2 tablespoons of Basil. 1 tablespoon of Fish Masala or extra Shrimp Paste. 2 tablespoons of Rice Vinegar or ½ teaspoon of Cayenne (if zest is needed). Add 1 tablespoon of Ginger (added after cooking). Serves 6 – 8 Used for: Protein Builder, Cleansing, Nourishing, Skin and Kidneys.


Semi Quick Chicken Soup 2 quarts of Chicken Broth. 2 cups of Chicken (boned and cut small). 2 cups of V8 Juice. 4 sticks of Celery (diced). 1 cup of Sweet Potato or Pumpkin flesh ground. 1 diced Carrot for taste and color. 1 teaspoon of Sea Salt. 1 tablespoon of Byriani or Keebab Paste. Bring ingredients to the boil and cook for 10 minutes, then add: ½ cup of Millet Jelly. 2 tablespoons of Cilantro. 1 tablespoon of Corn Starch. 1 tablespoon of Fennel. Cook for a further 2 minutes and serve. ½ cup of Rice or Rice Noodles may be added for body. Serves 8. Used for: Kidneys, Anti-Bacteria, Nutrition and Restoration. ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ

Cranberry Soup 1 quart of Apple Juice or Apple Cider. 1 cup of Cranberries (fresh or frozen). 1 pound of Spinach. ½ cup of Okra. 1 small (303) can of Pumpkin or 1 cup of fresh. 1 can of Coconut Milk. 2 cups of Mushrooms (prefer fresh). 1 tablespoon of Fish Sauce. 1 tablespoon of Shakey. 4 tablespoons of Maple Syrup. 1 teaspoon of Dill. Blend all together to a puree. Cook for 6 minutes. Extra herbs may be added if desired for taste. Serves 6 Hot or Cold Used for: Blood Cleanser, Kidneys and Nerves.


Gizzard Soup 2 quarts of Water. 1 cup of Shitake Dried Mushrooms. 1 pound of Gizzards and Hearts (from bird of choice). Bring the Gizzards, Hearts and Mushrooms to the boil and simmer for about 45 minutes with the lid on. Remove Meat and Mushrooms and let them cool down until you can chop or blend them into small pieces. Return the Puree to the remaining liquid. Add: 1 can of Coconut Milk. 1½ cups of chopped Fresh Greens ( Bok Choy, Spinach or Collards). 1 stalk of Celery (go easy, Celery is a diuretic and we become used to it). ½ cup of chopped Okra. Bring to the boil and simmer for 6 minutes. Add thickener of choice. After cooking add: 1 tablespoon of .Shakey (or seasoning of choice). 1 tablespoon of Rice Vinegar. 1 tablespoon of Fish Sauce. Garnish with grated Cheese or Green Onions. Used for: Digestive Tract, Intestines and General Nutrition. ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ

Quail Soup 2 cups of Quail Meat (diced). 3 cups of Water. 1 cup of Greens (fresh preferred). 1 can of Mushrooms (creamed preferred). 3 cups of raw shredded Carrots. 1 can of Coconut Milk. Include all giblets of the Quail or obtain some chicken Gizzards, Livers and Hearts. Chop these small and blend together with the rest of the ingredients except the Carrots. Carrots give substance to chew on and are colorful. Cook all for 12 minutes. Add seasoning of choice (e.g. tarragon or thyme). After cooking add: 1 tablespoon of Shakey. 1 teaspoon of Poultry Seasoning. 1 tablespoon of light Sesame Oil. Mix and serve – serves 6 Used for: Intestines, Nutrition and Cleansing.


A Couple of Summer Soups for you

Strawberry Soup 1 pint of Pure Water. 1 pound of Frozen Strawberries. 2 cans of Coconut Milk. 1 teaspoon of Vanilla. 3 tablespoons of Maple Syrup. 3 tablespoons of Lemon. 2 tablespoons of Tamarind Molasses. Blend all together and chill before serving. Serves 6 Used for: Cleansing, Kidney, Minerals and Strength.


Gazpacho with Avocado 1 pint of Pure Water. 1 pint of Stock of your choice. 8 Tomatoes. 3 Yellow or Red Peppers (seeded, deveined). 5 tablespoons of Lemon Juice. 3 tablespoons of Olive Oil. 1 tablespoon of Masala (Chana preferred). ½ cup of Onion (finely chopped). 1 cup of Avocado (pureed). ½ cup of Cilantro and Parsley (chopped fine). Blend all ingredients together and chill before serving. Serves 8 Used for: Liver, Stones and General Nourishment.


Bean Soup with Sage and Oregano 1 pound Dried beans - soak 4 hours and cook in crock-pot 6-8 hours, Slow. Season to be added after beans are soft. 12 Sage Leaves. 3 tablespoon of Oregano. 1 cup of Diced Meat. 2 medium Onions (chopped) . 2 cloves of Garlic (diced). A sprig of Thyme and Parsley (chopped). 4 tablespoons of Oil. 1 teaspoon of Shakey or Sea Salt. 1 quart of Stock. 1 tablespoon of Fennel. Serves 6-8 Used for: Protein, Strength, Soothing intestines. ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ

Soup – Fresh Greens with Thymus 1 cup of Sunflower Sprouts. 1 cup of Mixed Greens – choice. 1 quart of Chicken Stock . Blend and bring to boil. Add while Simmering. 1 ½ cups of Tomato Juice/V-8. 1 can of Pumpkin (puree). 6 Eggs (beaters). 2 cups of Water. Bring to boil again and add beaten eggs. Turn off. Add ½ patty per person plus 1 lb Thymus – cut up small Season with: 1 tablespoon of Fennel Seed. 1 tablespoon of Coriander Powder. 1 tablespoon of 5-Spice. 1 tablespoon of Pav Baji. 1 tablespoon of Red Pepper. 3 tablespoon of Honey. Serves 6-8 Used for: General Nutrition and Strength


Mushroom and Tomato Soup 1 quart of Water. 1 pint of Chicken Broth. 1 can of Mushrooms (with juice). 1 can of Tomatoes (diced). 1 lb of Greens – Collard . 1 tablespoon of Greek Seasoning (if not available use tablespoon of Organic Dried Vegetable flakes). 2 tablespoon of Panch Puri. Cook for about an hour on low – add thymus after turning off. To thicken blend a can of Northern Beans and add to soup. Serves 6 Used for: Soothing and Cleansing.


Mandarin Chicken or Duck Soup. 1 quart of Stock. 1 can (12 oz) of Coconut Milk. 1 tablespoon of Chana Masaia . 3 tablespoons of Coconut Vinegar. 1 teaspoon of Black Salt. 1 teapoon of Fresh Sage and Thyme. 1 cup of Meat (Pick your choice). 1 tablespoon of Chinese 5 Spice. 1 stalk of Celery (diced small). Bring all to the boil – Add seasonings and meat – Simmer 2 minutes. Used for: Strength, Nerves, Intestinal Support.


Spinach and Beet Soup 1 quart of Water. 1 lb of Spinach – fresh and finely cut. 3 Beets plus beet tops – good size. (grated fine) 4 tablespoons of Almond Oil. 2 cups of V-8 Juice. 1 can of Mushrooms with Juice. 1 teaspoon of Sea Salt. (seasoning) 1 tablespoon of Ghee. 1 tablespoon of Chole Masala. (seasoning) 1 cup of Pecan Halves. (chopped) Serves 6-8 Put all the ingredients together (except seasonings) bring to boil and boil for 10 minutes. Then add the seasonings Used for Liver, Blood Builder and Cleanser.


Soup – Triple Delight Neck Bones, beef, chicken, duck. 1 lb of Azuki Beans. 1 can of Tomato Sauce. 1 pt. of V-8 Juice. ½ teaspoon of Salt. ½ lb of Thymus (cut into bite size Pieces). 1 Medium Beef Kidney (chopped small - remove center fat deposit.) Boil neck bones and Azuki beans in water to cover overnight in crock pot till tender – When meat falls off, move to a saucepan and add tomato sauce, V-8 and salt. Bring to boil – turn off and add finely cut thymus and kidney and seasonings, chop meat from bones and add back to soup. Serves 6-8 Used for: Skin, Kidneys, Nerves, Glands 58

THE PITS ‘Life is the Pits- and then you die.’ You can look at life from a perspective of ‘Things happen’ –Pick up the pieces and continue trying- accepting the good and the bad. Another way to react is to not try, accept fate going downward to the end of life. The Best way to long life is to feel as though God let you learn a Lesson and you turn manure into roses until God has no more lessons for you to learn. Then God calls you ‘Home’. I hope I have more Lessons to learn. Do you want and have more lessons to learn? Do you have enough challenges in your life to want to live and learn more? Life is a constant change. If you learn and accept that change factor you can be challenged by the changing ‘Lessons’ and live a long time on earth. Time to read “The Book of Job,” in the Bible again. The ingredients in these recipes can be obtained at ethnic stores in most of the major cities. Indian, Asian, Philippine, Korean, Greek, and Polish stores carry all of the seasonings. The ethnic stores have fewer preservatives, but American marketing is encroaching upon their superior ways and foreign goods. Especially the Japanese now have MSG, Preservatives, and even Radiation. Just beware and be careful. I have found that Sour Cherry, Blueberry, Mixed Berry, syrups from Poland and Hungary are superior to any others available. Cheeses from the other countries are still not made with Hormone poisoned milk.

I warned all members about unnatural sweeteners and seasonings back in 1975. Nutrasweet, Aspartame, Diet Coke, Diet Pepsi, Diet Seven-Up and many more have manufactured sweeteners.
