The National team is a 3 full-time team responsible for coordinating activities such as:  External Events and Seminars  Government and Board of Directors relations  Talent Sourcing  Strategic Management A Local Chapter is based out of a university (or a group of nearby universities) and its members work voluntarily, and they are responsible for the functional operations of AIESEC:  Leadership Program.  International Internship Program.  Projects based on student mobility 45+ internships 20 leadership experiences

How does it work?  The company identifies needed skills to develop and time line (2-4 month internship duration available).  AIESEC in Bahrain posts the profiles on AIESEC’s intranet, promotes globally and pre-screens internships authorized by the company.  AIESEC gets the host company’s approval within 30 days.  AIESEC is in charge of logistics for the reception and establishment abroad.  The company sponsors the internship expenses (flight tickets, stipends, etc).

How does it work?  The company identifies needed profiles, internship description and time line (2-18 month internship duration available).  AIESEC in Bahrain posts the vacancies on AIESEC’s intranet, promotes globally and pre-screens applicants. Shortlist delivered within 36 hours of application due date.  The company interviews candidates. Final hiring decision within 10 days.  AIESEC is in charge of logistics for the reception and establishment in the Kingdom.  The company sponsors the visa.  AIESEC facilitates accommodation logistical arrangements.  AIESEC is in charge of the cultural preparation and reception at the airport.  AIESEC provides integration to the Bahraini community.  AIESEC Periodic evaluation and follow up with hiring manager and intern.  Internship duration: 2-18 months Masters 5%

AIESEC interns are contributing to the business expansion of Trust Reinsurance.

1. Talent promotion - 1 month: AIESEC promotes the program in 7 universities. 2. Selection - ongoing: AIESEC shortlists candidates and Tamkeen participates in selecting the candidates. Cultural Preparation – 1 week: AIESEC prepares the exchange participants to adapt to the new culture and take the most of the learning experience. Internship abroad – 6 to 12 months: AIESEC facilitates cultural adaption and reception. Tamkeen pays the flight tickets and monthly stipends. Return and reintegration - 6 months: AIESEC facilitates a selfreflection process where the returnees wrap up the learning experience and administers the reverse cultural shock. Now the Bahrainis are more prepared to tackle the challenges at the workplace!

Our tailored approach: 1. Talent selection - 2 months: AIESEC shortlisted candidates and Trust made the final decision. 2. Reception - 1 month: AIESEC facilitates cultural adaption and reception. Trust Re facilitated the flight tickets and sponsored the visas. 3. Vocational Training - 6 months: The interns toggled between BIBF and Trust offices to get expertise in different job positions. 4. High quality performance Ongoing: After the training, the interns apply their original backgrounds and knowledge to their work. 5. Job offerings - After the internship: The interns will be offered to keep working in trust in their countries of origin or other branches, according to Trust’s expansion strategy.
