DRAWING AND RENDERING
Rendering of various material like leather, glass, wood,stell, jewellery is done by using different mediums like pencils, colour pencils, water colours, dry pastels to give the proper texture and effect of the material.
Each material has its own unique property. *PU foam is used to create a 3D form. *Leather is used for surface textures. *Clay is a friendly material with which many forms and models can be made. *Wood is used to create joineries. *Different shapes were cut out on a alluminium sheet to understand the precesion level while working with the hard material.
*Copper is used to make a pair of earring,using differnt techniques of jewellery. *MDF is used to make mockups for the design. *Paper and Ohp is used to make gemotry models to understand various shapes. *Different interior accessories is made from glass
3D models are made accurately with dimensions having views from all side,using rhinoceros.
After making model in rhinoceros it is rendered in keyshot.
Earrings are made using illustrator to visualize it properly.
Documentation is made using indesign.
PHOTOGRAPHY One week module was conducted to learn the basic functions of the camera, for how to use this functions for good photography.
OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE:
To understand different technique of jewellery making i.e filigri,doming,granulation, stone setting,cut-work, enamelling and incorporate these techniques in your designs.
These jewellery pieces are handcrafted by me using different jewellery technique in every piece in the time span of 2 weeks. These pieces are designed and made by getting inspired from peacock feature.
These pair of earring has been made using the technique of filigriee, made in copper.
This hand-cuff hass been made using the technique of cut-work , made in copper.
This ring has been made using the technique of doming, made in copper.
This neckpiece has been made using the technique of cut-work and granulation, made in copper.
Brief: Design jewellery for indian women age grouped from 21-24 years who travel a lot. keeping in mind that the jewellery should be light-weighted, easy to carry and stylish in its way. The time span of the module was 5 weeks.
The jewellery piecees are designed by studying the trend and taking inspiration from it. These jewellery pieces are designed by geeting inspired from carving and the partterns of the carpet of sheikh zayed mosque which is located in abu dhabi .
These jewellery pieces are made in silver using the technique of cut-work and enameling.
Self-intiated project Designed earrings for clients according to their needs in copper using semi-precious stones. Techniques used are enameling and texture on metal.
Objective of the course: To understand the basic pattens, material, process and the final product of differnt kind of bags. This module facilitates us in understanding materials like Leather in raw, processed and finished forms. We built up an understanding of tools, equipment and machinery. This workshop was conducted for three weeks and we made 4 different kinds of bag i.e T-base, W-Base, running gusset, duffle. Moodboard was made for inspiration by studing the ongoing trend sketches were made and then the final bags were made. From material sourcing to final stitching of bags is done by me.
W-Base bag These bags are made getting inspired from the trend having keywords: transparent layering, floral and fauna emblishment.
Material used in these bags are vinyl sheet, buffalo skin leather, dyed canvas, emblishment are stitched on vinyl sheet.
Running Gusset bag
Objective of the assignment: Choose a character from a movie or series. understand its role and design bag and footwear for it keeping in mind its character and its design laungauage.
My character was Aisha kapoor from movie aisha. I have designed bag and footwear for her kepping in mind her style statement, her occupation. I have kept the bag very simple just by adding quiltting detai in my deign for her because she majorly uses chanel and dior bags in the movie which are quilted.

For footwear i have added combination of colurs going with her character and making it comfortable by adding wedges, for her visits to her gallery.

GLASS Objective of the course: The course was conducted for 2 weeks to understand the basic technique of glass i.e glass blowing. its prons and cons while making the product. to understand that only organic shapes can only be obtained in glass blowing technique. During this course of period we had to design the range of interior accessories. I had made products getting inspired from lotus .
BANGLE AND BEAD MAKING
CRAFT STUDY Objective of the course: This course was conducted for 2 weeks to understand their lifestyle and the craft. I went to Khambhat,Gujarat which is famous for semi-precious stones.Its process includes cutting of raw stones to drilling,faceting to polishing.

Cane is a natural material, which can be bended by heating it. Different methods like knitting,weaving,spiral weaving and many more are used to give texture on the products. depending on the strength and being waterproof o various products like chairs, baskets,lamps,planters,table,boats,roofs,interior accessories etc are made from it. this module was conducted for a week in which we had to observe the process of cane and make a product.
Final outcome: I have designed a magazine stand in which cane is heated and bended in a shape and spiral design is made using cane strips.
Kinematics is a branch of mechanics that deals with pure motion, withoutreference to the masses or forces involved in it. there are different kind of motion like linear motion,curvilinear motion,rotational motion, general plane motion. This course was conducted for 5 weeks in which we had to understand kinematics and make a instalation in a group of 5 having motion with a budget of 1100 rupess.
We had incorporated linear motion in our installation using bamboo, used cans and plastic bottles,broken pots and hay giving earthy look to our installation.
Participated in chaos inter college fashion show at IIM Ahmedabad and won the 2nd prize. Designed a range of accessory getting inspired from Tetris-the game and thunder.
