aroline Randell Lingerie Boutique has become a shopping destination for A-listers, players from The Championships and residents of SW19 alike. She has been continuously nominated for awards over the years, winning UK’s Best Lingerie Shop in 2015. Caroline’s start in the lingerie industry began at a young age working in her mother’s lingerie boutique in Warwickshire and attending buying shows and fitting events in Paris. After university, she worked at Rigby & Peller in Knightsbridge, corsetieres to the queen, before opening up her own boutique in the heart of Wimbledon Village. Caroline remembers the turning point when she decided to take the leap of faith to open her own boutique: “Not enough women were making the most of the amazing benefits of good fitting, attractive lingerie. Without a doubt, wearing lovely lingerie has a knock on effect on how we feel, what kind of energy we radiate, and therefore how we present ourselves to the world. Not to mention how comfortable it will feel and how it will improve your shape under your clothes. Lingerie is the first thing you put on every day; it’s the first layer of dressing and
therefore should be seen as very important. Too often women say, ‘It’s not worth me buying nice lingerie as no one sees it’. However, lingerie more importantly should be for you. Some people save their nice lingerie for special occasions – but that is like saying you only deserve to feel fantastic once in a while”.
