New Age Mind Traps Help Yourself Videos and the Labeling of our Children

By Kathleen Stilwell

HEY GIVE US THEIR MIND.” We all know this one by now. Don Juan is speaking to Carlos Castaneda in ‘The Active Side of Infinity’ about the predators. Note that he didn’t say they gave us their mind, he said they give us their mind. It seems that this is an ongoing missionary program to direct the minds of a species that seems to be stumbling around in a state of severe PTSD. Missionaries, as we all know, are relentless. They are hell-bent on converting us for our own good, which is really their own good, or really and truly the good of their controllers. It occurred to me yesterday, when I saw an article posted in an ascension-type blog about the difference between rainbow, crystal and indigo children, that we are really, really hard-wired into this boxing and labeling mindset. When are we going to stop doing this to ourselves and to one another? All of these new labels supposedly represent a new paradigm. But labeling, corralling, boxing, limiting, holding in place, fixing, imprisoning (I could go on) are their thing — the predators’ thing. This insistence on classifying one another is part of their mind game, enticing us to make all sorts of stuff up and to impose it upon others. When it comes to messing with our children, it really pisses me off. It’s one thing if we want to make up labels for ourselves, but, how dare we do this to the innocent. These new-age experts are handing out labels right and left. Our children are (in descending order of importance to the world) rainbow, crystal, indigo, or just ordinary kids with no real spiritual significance. There are likely sub-categories, but I can’t get myself to explore the idea. It seems to me that, if some sort of reptilian/archonic/bloated-floating-fishy predator didn’t give us its mind, then it must have been beings with heads shaped like pyramids. (And maybe even feet shaped like pyramids if you look at the shape of some shoes people try to cram their tootsies into.) We are obsessed with labeling one another and either stacking ourselves on

Page 2

top of others or stacking others on top of us. We bind and label, divide and sort, classify, deify, and belittle. We carry the matrixbuilders’ mind with us. We fantasize living without this creepy mind virus and then, without giving our programming a second thought, set out to build a whole new world filled with free energy devices, free hugs, and creative living. We need to get vigilant about examining ourselves for signs of AI (alien intelligence or artificial intelligence, take your pick) control. We need to look at the qualities of the predator mind and ask ourselves if this is who we choose to be. It’s almost impossible to believe that people actually still look for, or seek to be, chosen ones. Do we not see the system that our controllers have imposed upon us — how it divides us, judges us, exalts us and punishes us? Yet we recreate this hierarchical, pyramid blueprint over and over again in new systems of all kinds, be they spiritual or governing. Spiritual maturity does not come without investigating the AI which has taken over our mind. If it looks like a control system, it is. If it is shaped like a pyramid, it is. If there is someone lording over you, as a god or as a saviour, then it’s Alien and Artificial Intelligence. If you are seeking to be led, then you are asking to be taken over. If you want to be seduced… same freaking thing. If you package (even if you think it’s a pretty box) your children, friends, family, lovers, etc. then you are assisting the controllers by following the mind pattern they’ve imposed upon you. We divine humans are fluid beings. Our physical bodies are composed mostly of water. We flow with cosmic energies in absolutely magical ways. Being as cool as we are, we change all the time. We all have moments of brilliance and moments of frustrating blindness. We are multi-dimensional. We shift. We grow. We get excited over new insights and ideas. We soar with inspiration and grieve deeply at the horrendous evil all around us. And we can hold both emotions at the same time. We are that flexible. We remember the Love

N LAST MONTH’S ARTICLE, I covered the history of the suppressed science of orgone energy, discovered by Wilhelm Reich in the 1930s. Orgone energy is the life force energy, also known as chi or prana, and understood by ancient cultures long before science validated its existence. Wilhelm Reich’s amazing discovery of this energy led him to invent the orgone accumulator, which collected orgone energy from the atmosphere in a high concentration to heal cancer patients who would spend periods of time inside the device. He went on to invent the cloudbuster, which was used in working with the orgone energy of the atmosphere to clean air pollution and electromagnetic pollution, and to bring rain in times of drought. The FDA and US government were very much opposed to any use of orgone energy, which they claimed “did not exist,” and after a long persecution campaign by the FDA, Reich was jailed and his laboratory and books were destroyed. He died in prison in 1957, but fortunately, most of his work was recovered, and is now available to us once again in new applications anyone can use safely and easily. The suppression of orgone energy is the biggest scientific cover-up of our time. It is orgone energy which is ending the geoengineering programs (a.k.a. chemtrails) worldwide and helping communities everywhere by neutralizing electromagnetic radiation from cell phone towers and other sources. The governments of the world do not want

Our Growing Agora

By Lorenzo

OW DEEP INTO the launch of our new website I find myself of ‘two minds’: super happy for our much quicker than anticipated somewhat ’dizzying’ growth, and wondering how I’m going to learn to type at twice my current rate to keep up with all the amazing new contacts/ideas/ information/events and grand energetic resources The New Agora is happily growing with. I literally get up before 5am each morning to keep on top of our ‘worldly’ contacts, requests, and, most importantly, new inspirations that flow our way each night and day. New and old friends, those we’ve followed for years, intelligent offerings and ‘out of this world’ suggestions, biz, information, services and even some ‘almost sci-fi’ new tech, are all bits that are materializing. These puzzle pieces seem to be arranging themselves into our vision of ‘freedom for all’, one that we here at The New Agora always knew was possible when we first accepted our role in championing freedom. Our great wish of having more space for those long, detailed, at times complicated and even scary (yet helpful) topics on energy, health, ancient history and other once taboo topics, that we always wanted to share with you, is becoming more real and successful by the moment. In other words, our website now has the honour of hosting far more than we can comfortably print each month, allowing for a depth of information impossible for print. Perhaps here is an appropriate place to call out for any ‘web-code,

Page 4

wordpress or social media-peeps’ who wish to participate with us. And, as I sink my teeth further into our creations, I am reminded that a health-minded naturally inclined dentist wouldn’t be turned away from our pages either. Overall I just wish to say, a big thank you to all of those who have newly come our way, or are just newly participating with us again. This month we welcome Michael Tsarion and David Whitehead of to our pages. I can’t stress enough how important and intelligent Michael’s research has been to my own growth and awareness. You may find others sharing great info, but you won’t find a more interesting author and presenter than Michael Tsarion, in my opinion. If you haven’t yet checked out their website I would suggest you do so, and soon. Harald Kautz is also with us again, online, delving into topics somewhat shocking but all important. Dr. Eldon Dahl of is bringing his long experience and awareness of health and nutraceuticals to both our print and web pages beginning regularly this month. As well, Matt Landman, whose tireless work on the controversial chemtrail topic (please see page 6 for more on what he’s up to) is another welcome participator to our growing New Agora family. Finally, we are grateful to Alex Grey for his fabulous cover titled ‘Wonder’ for us all this month. What can I add other than a Big Thanks to all who are helping our readers to their own personal freedom. I am honoured to be a part of, and included in, this loving group of helpful folks.

Through the Gates of Change

By Fredalupe! HERE HAVE BEEN so many changes of

late that, to my seeing eye, they merge into one inexorable force, the details of which become a froth of less interest than that of the spectacle of Power itself moving, of Intent manifesting before us all, of wonder at the mystery of our shared Journey. Love is a sacred reserve of energy; it is like the blood of spiritual evolution. ~Pierre Teilhard de Chardin The World around us has taken this newly born Phoenix Year to heart. The pot is a’boil, the bread is in the oven, the game is afoot. The gates of change are swinging wide open, inviting the brave, the daring and the desperate beyond mere metaphor and into the realm of manifest destiny. And by that I mean the acceptance of our own authorship upon which we sail through the sea of awareness. We’re making up the stuff of our lives folks, and the responsibility is awesome. The infinite vibratory levels, the dimensions of interconnectedness are without end. There is nothing independent. All beings and things are residents in your awareness. ~Alex Grey

And all around little dreams come true, nightmares too, peopled by lessons clothed in relationships in a menagerie of recapitulatory excess. Petty tyrants of love abound. The All of Everything demands growth beyond the known of the past, but not without first its assimilation and digestion for therein exists the fecund fertilizer required for our own creative evolution. The roots of the word ‘anarchy’ are ‘an archos,’ ‘no leaders,’ which is not really about the kind of chaos that most people imagine when the word ‘anarchy’ is mentioned. I think that anarchy is, to the contrary, about taking personal responsibility for yourself. ~Alan Moore Practically speaking, everything we require for personal transformation is everything and everyone that comes our way; in a sense it is the way. How does the saying go…It’s not the path that is difficult, it is the difficulty that is the path. I can certainly attest to that being the case in my life thus far; even Love came to kick my ass into high gear, and none too sweetly I might add. And yet the only proper response I have worthy of the experience I was given is gratitude, of the muscular kind. Of course that took quite some work, months of it really, and I ain’t done yet

in all honesty, I work at it constantly, heavens, I’m doing it right now. Exercise for the soul I suppose. I hold it true, whate’er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; ‘Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all. ~ Alfred Lord Tennyson Gratitude is an action, not necessarily a static state of being, one much akin to balancing rather than simply being balanced. Can’t complain really, although I have, of course, but it’s all part of the show, of the journey beyond one’s own limitations, shortcomings, what have you. Bit of a grindstone these experiences though, smoothing the rough, at times jagged, edges of one’s lunatic consciousness is no easy affair. As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them. ~ John F. Kennedy It is work to remain un-jaded, to dissolve the calcification of the spirit born of pain. Innocence is the key. Innocence is not naiveté. Innocence is an act of daring, of courage, of power. Innocence is welcoming

experience despite what has come before. Innocence demonstrates its incredible strength precisely in its ability to transform reality beyond what has come before, beyond judgment, beyond Time’s scarification and learned callousness. Imagine the joy, the freedom of a new now, unpolluted by the past, and pregnant with limitlessness. Imagine yourself free. I know I am. You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You’re on your own, and you know what you know. And you are the guy who’ll decide where to go. ~Dr. Seuss And so here I am, writing to you, for you, for myself as well; in thanks for your company, for your time and attention; grateful for the opportunity to grow up with you, grateful to have loved you, grateful to love you still, and forevermore. Fare thee well. Love is a canvas furnished by nature and embroidered by imagination. ~Voltaire See you in the New Now, Fredalupe!

Imagination Rises Out Of The Jaws Of Defeat By Zy Marquiez

“Imagination should be used, not to escape reality, but to create it.” — Collin Wilson “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire word, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” — Einstein

MAGINATION IS THE skeleton key to life, for it opens all the doors that allow the individual to venture through all of the possible roads of life. Having the option to venture upon the unknown to travel the roaring roads of life allows the individual not only to become more cognizant through life experience and learn from such ventures, but also to employ imagination in order to seek and attain mastery of the self. This allows the individual the ability to live life to the fullest extent. This is why it’s vital to respect the creative consciousness of the individual, because there is no path imagination won’t venture upon, there is no solution that can’t be attained by the open-minded skeptical individual who ceaselessly seeks to attain understanding through constant employing of the triumvirate that is the heart, mind, and spirit. As imagination is employed boundlessly, a more thorough understanding of life is achieved with the acquisition of experience and wisdom each new day brings forth. This serves as further impetus for the individual as they continue to seek new untapped ground to learn from while also exploring the conscious streams of life, because they realize with each new set of experiences, new possibilities arise, new solutions are to be had. Regardless of the path one takes, with each

Page 5

new obstacle that arises, the individual grows further with each new choice made. The more one grows, the more capable one feels. The more capable one feels, the more they accomplish. And the more they accomplish, the more they grow. Therefore, growth serves as a catalyst for additional growth and experience, which is all fueled by endless inspiration of being able to tackle any problem that arises with the employment of imagination. This is why imagination and creativity will continue to serve as an engine of growth by which the individual evolves, ultimately raising their quality of consciousness with each new well thought out and pondered idea that is ruminated upon deeply. This growth undoubtedly couples to the life lessons that help us persevere through life doggedly, while also serving as sparks that ignite the embers of creativity. As individuals embrace the resonant feeling of inspiration and creativity that follows the use of imagination,

and how those spawn new streams of consciousness and possibilities, they realize that imagination is the one tool in life that cannot be overlooked. Without imagination, one cannot achieve anything. And when imagination and inspiration couple, there is no end in sight to the type of accomplishments an individual may unleash. New ideas arise, old shackles melt, and imagination becomes the key to a healthy and fulfilling life. The precious and vast streams of consciousness that abound us are the canvas upon which imagination artfully creates its dreams – the individual’s dream. In fact, writer, philosopher and naturalist Henry David Thoreau once intimated saliently: “This world is but canvas to our imaginations.” Humanity is here to create, and individuals cannot create without imagination.

Imagination leads to dreams, and dreams lead individuals to change one’s life; dreams help individuals inspire others; dreams have also throughout history helped change the course of civilization. All of these dreams that are inherently woven within the core of our being, and are entwined within the web of life serve to vault the pallid, mediocre, and dull components of life into a completely different constellation of possibilities altogether. Individuals whose insights and aspirations made them employ imagination in creatively unique ways, time and time again turned seemingly unalterable tides of destiny and transformed them into something new and fresh hitherto inconceivable. Individuals such as Einstein, Steve Jobs, Michael Jordan, The Beatles, and more, all had ‘epic failures’. And yet, failure does not define them. They imagined something better, something greater. They imagined a better life for themselves, made a plan, CHANGED their paths, and each set a new rousing course the likes of which nigh nobody has followed. Promptly, the jaws of defeat were smashed shut and not allowed to feed on their dreams. Countless individuals have shown that when individual mindsets are lucid and precise, there is nothing that can stop them and their imagination. Doubt no longer exists. The insipid fades into the past Obstacles become opportunities. Setbacks become turning points. Life’s journey becomes an inspiring adventure. And the creative individual becomes ultimately free.

“Those who will not reason, are bigots, those who cannot are fools, and those who dare not, are slaves.” — Lord Byron

Gary ‘Z’ McGee

HE SYSTEM IS not improving, it is not progressing. It is precarious and faltering, beleaguered beyond the capacity to fix itself. And with the orange-faced personification of bigotry, intolerance, pomposity, greed, hate and overreaching plutocracy at the top of the unsustainable pyramid, it has been found wanting, covertly fixed and stagnating. But people are slowly starting to wake up to this fact, realizing that they can no longer wait for the system to fix itself. They must take matters into their own hands, seek solidarity with those who also seek healthy, sustainable, and progressive change, and discover that the door to their cage has always been open. A deepening of the truth is on the other side. From encaged to outraged, we the people are beginning to break the invisible chains of cultural conditioning and state-driven political propaganda. We are filling the streets, voting with our feet, and pounding the concrete with our wide-awake voices screaming “Freedom; Anarchy; Love!” in the face of tyranny, statism, and slavery. We realize that the vertical democracy of statism has utterly failed, and only the horizontal democracy of self-rule can solve the equation of the political human condition. Indeed. As Leonardo DaVinci once said, “Knowledge is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.”

Uncaged Citizen

“The way to learn courage is to be afraid of something and then do it anyway.” — Brandon Stanton

The uncaged citizen is a self-ruling, self-reasoning, courageous individual willing to be unpopularly right despite the popular wrong of the majority. Like Django unchained he is that “one in ten-thousand nigga!” willing to do what it takes in order to bring water to the wasteland, to bring freedom to all tyrannical landscapes, knowing, as Martin Luther King Jr. did, that “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” Have no illusions, the current system of vertical democracy reeks of injustice. The top-down chain of obedience is profoundly corrupt. It will take bottom-up, courageous, horizontal solidarity to balance things out. Indeed, the uncaged citizen is the bane of the fenced-in corruption of an unjust system. Uncaged citizens are filling up the streets, pounding their feet against the atrocities of the state. They are mobilizing against intolerance and hate, misogyny and rape, plutocracy and greed. They are transforming their love for humanity into concrete deeds and courageous acts that set a healthy example against the unhealthy machine of the corrupt state. They are tiny Davids with slingshots of justice aimed at an unjust Goliath. They are peaceful warriors attempting to chop the head off an environmentally unsustainable Black Snake. Hell, even the meek are beginning to rise up, digging down deep for that unquenchable courage. As Plato said in The Republic, “There is in every one of us, even those who seem most moderate, a type of desire that is terrible, wild, and lawless.” And in a world that is fast beginning to outlaw freedom and self-rule, such desire is needed more than ever before.

Power of the People

From Encaged to Outraged

Outraged Solidarity

“The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane.” — Marcus Aurelius As it stands, the ranks of the insane is the unhealthy chain of obedience run amok within a corrupt vertical democracy that simply does not work well for healthy human beings. The solution is to escape the ignorance of the majority and join the ranks of the informed minority who are joined in solidarity under a flag of horizontal democracy and freedom, void of rulers and masters. Outrage is merely a side effect of learning the painful truth. It’s the emotion that grips us when we finally stop asking to be kissed with lies and begin asking to be slapped with truth. It’s when we finally pull our heads out of the comfortable sand and begin looking around at the uncomfortable truth. Sure, it pisses us off, but lo and behold, there are others there who are pissed of as well, who are also waking up to the corruption and greed of the plutocratic state. They are willing, as we are, to rise up with love and courage in their heart, despite the hate and indifference of the state and those who kowtow to it. They too want to leave a healthier, more sustainable and just world to their children and grandchildren. We are joined in solidarity toward such a noble cause and outraged against any system and any person who works against it.

Horizontal Democracy

“There is nothing noble in being superior t o your fellow man; true nobility is being superior t o your former self.”

An Actual ACTivist Takes Chemtrail Awareness On Tour

By Matt Landman

HE ACTIVIST — A total rarity these days, though if you look hard enough, you’ll find they do exist. Every niche has them and, more than anything else, their duty is to bring as much public awareness to a topic as possible. Chemtrails, otherwise known as Stratospheric Aerosol Injections (SAI), Solar Radiation Management (SRM) or Solar Geoengineering, is an important example of one such niche. Although in its infancy for many, chemtrail awareness and their implications, both honest and not, has the prospect of mass public acceptance, as media outlets proclaim this once-touted “theory” as an actual fix to climate change. In need as it is of ‘’youthful’’ highly motivated leaders, the Chemtrails movement has as yet never been able to reach the mainstream, whereas its natural counterpart, GMO activism, has benefited from continued awarenessspreading until critical mass has been achieved. FrankenFood is now synonymous with the GMO issue, and soon, I hope that FrankenSkies will be synonymous with Chemtrails. As an Activist filmmaker, I am set to release the full length documentary FrankenSkies this March-April, which should help explain the massive changes we’ve seen to our skies. The film release is also being used as a Launchpad to fund an upcoming 23 city U.S - Canada tour culminating in Chicago to oppose the Solar Geoengineering Governance Regime Roundtable taking place on May 18th. A closed door meeting will determine the means of full scale Solar Geoengineering deployment, a marked

Page 6

advance from the research stage of the past. The primary objective of the tour is to bring awareness to this self proclaimed ‘regime’ and its nefarious agenda. This‘’truth tour’’is intended to bring, in-person, awareness to people of all ages and demographics. It is, for myself, a necessary evolution in a world of social media technology deliberately designed to entertain and distract. Todays’Youth are so overwhelmed with the daily diet of distracting information overload on social platforms, many have lost the ability to know truth from falsehood, and thus have no basis to form a reasoned opinion nor a means of taking a stance. Is any of this by accident? Of course not. Our current means of information dissemination simply won’t work with the young, therefore we need a new way to spark awakening and critical awareness. In-person communication, eye contact and heart-filled passion can and will make the difference. If not, the next generation could very well… look back on this era and remember how we betrayed them and their own kids with our silence. *** “Matt Landman is spearheading these projects in addition to having hosted the first annual Global Chemtrail Summit, which we proudly sponsored, last year in Vancouver BC, with the second Summit happening in Portland, Oregon on May 6th, 2017. Those interested in the film release and helping with the movement can visit the film release GoFundMe webpage where you can find FrankenSkies DVDs for sale. The Solar Geoengineering Awareness Tour is set to reach Canada May 8th-12th. Watch these pages and our newly relaunched website for upcoming details, articles and more information!” -Lorenzo

— Ernest Hemmingway Similarly, as a citizenry, true nobility is being superior to our former political position. Horizontal Democracy, void of rulers and masters, is far superior to vertical democracy, dependent upon a chain of obedience. There is more progressive evolution in a spoonful of horizontal democracy than in an entire ocean of stagnant vertical democracy. Vertical democracy does not work well for healthy human beings precisely because of the fact that power tends to corrupt. Horizontal democracy is robust with checks and balances, so that power rarely has a chance to ever become corrupt. With neither masters nor rulers attempting to monopolize power, humankind is more likely to evolve into a more progressive and sustainable species. At the end of the day, the power of the people cannot be found within a vertical form of democracy dependent upon a chain of obedience. This is because power tends to become corrupt at the top of the chain of obedience, thus causing injustice within the entire system, while oppressing the bottom of the hierarchy. The power of the people can only be found within a horizontal form of democracy void of masters and rulers, where the chain of obedience lies broken and discarded and the links in the chain are free to form in solidarity of brotherhood for freedom and justice despite the tyranny and injustice of the state. As Maria Robinson said, “Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.” FALLEN SOLDIER The tyrannical tentacle of the state has caught one of our own. Gary Z McGee is in jail for the petty offense of not pulling over quickly enough. He is now charged with two felonies: Evading arrest and endangering a child, because his son was in the RV. Living in the most incarcerated country in the world Gary Z McGee is just the latest victim of the prison industrial complex. He faces 2 to 15 years in prison if convicted. Is Heart Disease from a Sulfur Deficiency? By Dr. Jack Wolfson

E NORMALLY DON’T think much about it, but sulfur is a hugely important nutrient for the body, and when we lack this critical substance, we may be paying for it with the health of our hearts. Sulfur is a non-metallic element (number 16) that is a critical nutrient for the body. Unfortunately, so many people don’t consume enough. Over the years, it has been forgotten by the FDA and not added to grains/rice as part of the “fortification” process. Sadly, most diets are deficient in sulfur rich foods like grass fed beef, garlic, onion, and quality eggs. Farmers are not putting sulfur in the soil or feed, therefore plant and animal sulfur content is diminished. The quality of veggies depends on the soil in which they grow. Animals eat those plants. Sulfur is also found naturally in spring water. If you use reverse osmosis, the sulfur is removed. Sulfur is one of the top 10 most abundant nutrients in the body. There is about the same amount of sulfur as potassium, and there is more sulfur than sodium. It is an essential element for human life and combines with so many other nutrients including amino acids (building blocks for proteins), metals (sulfur clears them out of the body), vitamins, and even makes our skin, hair, and nails strong. You can thank sulfur for the smell of garlic or the whiff of a skunk. Rotting eggs, same thing. One of the most important places to find sulfur in the human body is in the

Page 7

glutathione molecule. It is formed from the amino acids cysteine, glutamine, and glycine. Glutathione serves many functions including (1): n Anti-oxidant that clears out freeradicals n Anti-inflammatory n Detoxifier that binds toxins and metals, making them water soluble, and easy to excrete from the body.

stays in the inside area of blood flow called the lumen. Interestingly, there is a space that serves as a buffer between blood flow and the endothelium. This area is called the glycocalyx and researchers are only scratching the surface at its importance. One nutrient that is found extensively in the glycocalyx is sulfur. Given most diets are deficient in sulfur, could this be a major factor in atherosclerosis?

The Endothelial Glycocalyx

Sulfur and Amino Acids

Wow, that is a mouthful. But hang in there. As noted in the picture above, lining all major blood vessels is a layer of cells called the endothelium. These cells control what comes into the artery wall and what

Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins. Some of these amino acids such as cysteine, methionine, and cystine contain sulfur. Cysteine is an important amino acid for the building of glutathione

mentioned above. Methionine cannot be manufactured by the body and is considered an essential amino acid. Cysteine and cystine can be made, but an adequate supply of sulfur is needed. Homocysteine and taurine are similar to amino acids, contain sulfur, and are very important molecules in human biochemistry. When homocysteine gets out of control, bad things happen (2) including heart attacks, strokes, cancer and dementia. On the flip side, low homocysteine is also a problem. We are looking for levels between 5 and 7. Taurine is a component of bile salt for digestion and is known to reduce blood pressure and prevent heart rhythm issues (3). Alpha-lipoic acid contains a sulfur molecule and also does some amazing things in the body (4) such as lowering oxidative stress, lowers blood sugar by improving insulin function, chelation, and lowers blood pressure by improving endothelial function.

Sulfur in Food

Sulfur is found in many foods such a Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, and onion. But my favorite sources are seafood, eggs, and of course, garlic. Just to be clear, eggs do not cause heart disease as reviewed in a recent article (5). In fact, eggs raise HDL and improve HDL function (6) and improve blood sugar (7). Don’t fear the egg and don’t fear the smell of garlic. That smell is health.

irst, Iceland, and now Spain has taken on the Big Bankers responsible for financial calamity, as the country’s highest national court charged the former head of Spain’s central bank, a market regulator, and five other banking officials over a failed bank leading to the loss of millions of euros for smaller investors. This, of course, markedly departs from the mammoth taxpayer giveaway — commonly referred to as the bailout — approved by the U.S. government ostensibly to “save” the Big Banks and, albeit unstated, allow the enormous institutions to continue bilking customers without the slightest fear of penalty.

A day before the European Parliament votes on the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), a new report co-published by Corporate Europe Observatory (CEO), ‘Gold-digging with investor-state lawsuits’, warns against the trade deal’s facilitation of multi-billion investor claims.

en the cost of living rises faster than paychecks do year after year, eventually that becomes a very big problem. For quite some time I have been writing about the shrinking middle class, and one of the biggest culprits is inflation. Every month, tens of millions of American families struggle to pay the bills, and most of them don’t even understand the economic forces that are putting so much pressure on them. he United States never had a persistent, ongoing problem with inflation until the debt-based Federal Reserve system was introduced in 1913. Since that time, we have had non-stop inflation and the U.S. dollar has lost more than 98 percent of its value.

enezuela’s media watchdog has ordered CNN’s Spanishlanguage channel off the air across the country, accusing it of engaging in a propaganda war. Nicolas Maduro said earlier the channel is “sticking its nose” in the country’s internal affairs and “manipulating” information. The Venezuelan National Telecommunications Commission (Conatel) has opened an “administrative sanctioning proceeding” against the CNN Español news channel for allegedly attempting to violate the “peace and democratic stability” of the country. The sanctions were imposed “due to the content” that has been disseminated by the international news outlet in a “systematic and repeated way” in the channel’s daily programming, said a statement released by Conatel.

Toxic air pollutants like sulfates, nitrates, and black carbon can penetrate deep into lung and cardiovascular tissues, which poses a serious risk to human health. Outdoor air pollution is regarded as the top single killer in the world — causing up to 3 million deaths per year. Now, new research has shown that the hazardous effects don’t stop there: air pollution is bad for the brain, too. The study, led by researchers from the University of Southern California, found that air pollution raises the risk of dementia by up to 92 percent — thanks to toxic particles that cause brain swelling. Even if the air doesn’t kill you, it will make you sick one way or another.

The analysis entitled “Fluorinated Compounds in U.S. Food Packaging” was published in Environmental Science & Technology Letters on February 1.

n 10 Things You Didn’t Know Were in Your Drinking Water

he most common substance in this world is water and therefore it is essential that we could say by default it is greatly important! We learned that only 1% of the Earth’s water is suitable for drinking, 97% of it is ocean or sea and where does the 2% go? It is unusable, it’s frozen. Now, we always wanted what is best and safe for our drinking water. As a matter of fact, Americans drink more than a billion glasses of tap water per day. Your day has been sluggish and you die to drink that glass of water even from the tap just to quench you. But do you really know if whether or not it’s secure for your family? Or let me be more direct, do you even bother to know what’s on it? No matter how we can say that that water is clean by just basing it from your bare naked eyes, there are things in there that might not be good for you.

LMOST EVERYONE (arguably) has used cannabis recreationally at one time or another. Most people see it as little more than a natural substance that can cause a temporary euphoria and yet, in some people’s opinions, it is a drug that creates laziness and a depleted drive to contribute to society with any degree of intelligence. This opinion is often based on stereotype rather than experience. Our governments have used stereotypes to keep us from considering that cannabis can be used sensibly or for a deeper purpose. A lot of people believe it has a wealth of spiritual uses that can help us tear down our mind-driven barriers and raise our spiritual vibration – as long as our purpose and intention in using it is clearly aligned to finding a higher vibration. Anyone who researches cannabis and spirituality will find consistent advice to use it respectfully, in a proper setting and with the proper intentions. Our intentions and expectations create our reality, so if we use cannabis with the intention of simply ‘getting high’ as opposed to exploring our consciousness, a small, euphoric high is exactly what it will give us. On the other hand, ecstatic meditative bliss and insight can result when it’s used properly; the way the ancients used it, who knew about its potential.

Stereotype = Distraction

Beyond it’s medicinal and industrial uses, there are many spiritual benefits of cannabis. This plant has much more potential to help mankind than we give it

Page 10

and Common Sense credit for. I think its potential to help the world is why cannabis and hemp are both outlawed, despite all of the amazing things they could do if they were legal. There are interests out there who want to keep cannabis and hemp illegal, because they know cannabis can help people socially and spiritually awaken, and they know hemp has a lot of uses that could grab profits away from the cotton and timber industries, among others. These interests don’t want people to explore the potential meditative benefits of cannabis, nor do they want hemp to be used as widely, industrially and medicinally, as it has been for centuries. One of cannabis’ common effects is to alter people’s perceptions and awaken them to spirit, and the injustices that take place every day. For centuries, different cultures have used cannabis (and other plants) in a spiritual and/or ceremonial setting (the same cultures who, in some cases, used hemp industrially), and it is no mistake that this tradition carries on into today. But still, some people see cannabis as little more than a drug that, in their eyes, just makes you dumber. Part of me wonders if the interests who profit from its illegality have

$5 GRAM!

purposely perpetuated the stereotypes that surround it in an effort to turn the world against it. The less aware the general public is, the more the planetary controllers profit from our ignorance. But at the same time, like any consciousnessaltering substance, we shouldn’t hide from the real negative aspects of its use. We don’t want to deny the negative things that can come with consuming cannabis, particularly when it is abused, but we also don’t want to let stereotypes dupe us into thinking it can’t be used positively or progressively either. I think it can, and a growing number of people who’ve felt the intense meditative effects of this revolutionary plant would agree with me.

Dependence & Responsible Use Like anything else, cannabis can become destructive if it isn’t used responsibly. I think it can be used routinely without becoming an unhealthy crutch, as long as a few ideals are kept in mind and its use can be ceased without the user becoming unstable. If emotional or psychological instability results from an inability to consume it, it might point to dependence and the user

might be best to take a break and evaluate why they’re really using it and if their prolonged use is hurting more than helping. The herb can be used safely, respectfully and responsibly if the user remembers a few things – one of which is that, although it is benign in its nature, it is very powerful. It can help us open our minds, but it can also cause us to close our minds and depend on it for any degree of happiness, wholeness or spirituality.

Embracing the Taboo

Even if our culture thinks it’s taboo, I think cannabis (and especially its cousin, hemp) has more to offer society than most people realize. It has the power to expand minds and introduce the newly awakened to the reality of spirit and the possibility of changing this world with creativity, and its potential isn’t meant to be overlooked. Even if it aligns me with the “hippie” stereotypes out there, I openly support the herb for its spiritual benefits, even in the face of all of the negativity and naysaying that’s constantly thrown at it. The herb retains a quiet dignity throughout all of the condemnation, silently and patiently awaiting the day when it can finally show us what it can do. I’m not saying everyone should try it, and it definitely isn’t for all of us. It would bring some people down and densify their vibration, because they’ve already raised and maintained their vibration to a point where it wouldn’t help them anymore. There are others, however (even those who maintain a consistently high vibration) who benefit tremendously from its use and the potent meditations that can result.

On the Duty of Civil Disobedience

By Stephen Parato

“If the injustice is part of the necessary friction of the machine of government, let it go, let it go: perchance it will wear smooth– certainly the machine will wear out… but if it is of such a nature that it requires you to be the agent of injustice to another, then I say, break the law. Let your life be a counter-friction to stop the machine. What I have to do is to see, at any rate, that I do not lend myself to the wrong which I condemn.” — Henry David Thoreau BEDIENCE IS THE connective tissue of oppression. In other words, any form of control on a collective level can only be carried out through obedience. A dictator can’t arrest or kill an entire population himself; he needs mindless minions to do the dirty work. This principle applies across all forms and degrees of systematic control, even the most subtle. The desires of any wannabe controller can only come to fruition through the compliance of others. And that’s been the case throughout recorded history. The desire for control becomes a virus, driven by fear and infecting more and more people, until there are enough drones to oppress an entire population. This phenomenon isn’t just the case with large-scale atrocities; it applies to anything that is an impediment to freedom or love; be it a person, group, system or idea. Everything is held up by belief. Laws are merely words written on paper, and only legitimized by collective acquiescence. Laws need people to enforce them. And if laws are unjust (as most are), those who carry them out must unquestioningly submit to authority and go against their own inner knowing. The only way control or oppression works on any scale is through compliance. Too many people do the work of ‘the man’ for ‘the man.’ That’s the problem. The solution lies in civil disobedience. Freedom Cannot Be Granted “Freedom cannot be granted. It must be taken.” ~Max Stirner Asking for freedom is oxy-moronic. If you have to ask for freedom, you’re already a slave. How is freedom taken? The simple decision to be the master of your own body and mind (and Spirit. Ed.).

Page 11

It really is as simple as that, though difficult to apply. It’s easy to blame problems on others, it’s easy to neglect our health and think “the doctor can fix me.” We’ve been conditioned to externalize our power since childhood. We’ve been taught to not trust ourselves. We’ve been taught to submit to authority without question. This is a recipe for a control system to stealthily and slowly permeate society (the totalitarian tiptoe). When you attain a degree of selfmastery, you do not acquiesce to the will of destructive people or disharmonious institutions. Which leads to the next point…

Fear-Based Programming

“The pioneers of a warless world are the youth who refuse military service.” — Albert Einstein The covert means by which oppression takes over is through fearbased programming. If you have people in fear, you can easily control them. Fear activates the part of the brain known as the amygdala (the center for emotional behavior/ motivation) and inhibits neocortex function (our “thinking brain”). This means that rationality and intellect are thrown out the window, the perfect storm for brainwashing. There’s even a term for this fear response: amygdala hijack. The media is one big amygdala hijack, perpetually programming the population with which boogeyman to fear next. This is a massive ritual of fear-based programming that insidiously shifts entire populations into thinking and acting irrationally out of fear. Television is called programming for a reason. Remember the whole weapons of mass destruction fiasco with Iraq in 2003? US military action in Iraq and massive destabilization of the Middle-East (which continues to this day) was predicated on that lie. There were no weapons of mass destruction. But lingering fear from 9/11 resulted in a string of irrational behavior and many people blindly believing the hype. The holocaust took place because German soldiers were thoroughly conditioned to carry out orders. They didn’t carry out orders because they liked doing it, but because they feared the wrath of their higher-ranking officers, or even because they were conditioned to fear Jewish people. These abominations only

occur when fear is the driving force. Fear is hard to pin down. It’s slippery, and ultimately illusory (False Evidence Appearing Real). Yet it’s the undercurrent of all “negative” emotions. Fear is what stops us from saying no to evil. Fear might actually distort our perceptions to support evil. That’s why it’s so dangerous. When you cultivate self-mastery, you’re able to break the cycle. The spread of fear stops before you and is transmuted by the omnipotent force of unyielding love.

Love Over Fear

“There are two basic motivating

forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and our imperfections. If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life.” ~John Lennon Strive to choose love over fear in every

10 Forgotten Truths

To Help You Get Through Hard Times

By Marc Chernoff

WANT TO REMIND you of a few

powerful, yet easily forgotten truths that will help you choose wisely and grow stronger even through the hardest times… The wisest, most loving, and well rounded people you have ever met are likely those who have known misery, known defeat, known the heartbreak of losing something or someone they loved, and have found their way out of the depths of their own despair. These people have experienced many ups and downs, and have gained an appreciation, sensitivity, and an understanding of life that fills them with compassion, understanding and a deep loving wisdom. People like this aren’t born; they develop slowly over the course of time. Angel and I have worked with thousands of these incredible people over the past decade, both online and offline, through various forms of coaching. In many cases they came to us feeling stuck and lost, unaware of their own brilliance, blind to the fact that their struggles have strengthened them and given them an upper hand in this crazy world. Truth be told, when hard times hit, and the challenges you face are great, you

can either let your situation define you, let it destroy you or let it strengthen you. The choice is yours to make.

1. Pain is part of life and love, and it helps you grow.

So many of us are afraid of ourselves, of our own truth, and our feelings most of all. We talk about how great the concepts of life and love are, but then we hide from both every day. We hide from our truest feelings. Because the truth is life and love hurt sometimes, and the feelings this brings disturbs us. We are taught at an early age that all pain is evil and harmful. Yet, how can we ever deal with real life and true love if we’re afraid to feel what we really feel? We need to feel pain, just as we need to feel alive and loved. Pain is meant to wake us up. Yet we try to hide our pain. Realize this. Pain is something to carry willingly, just like good sense. Because you can only learn how strong you are when being strong is the only choice you have. It’s all in how you carry the things that don’t go your way. That’s what matters in the end. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you – your own reality. If you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you’re

letting the lies of insecurity destroy your reality. You should stand up for your right to feel pain – to endure it – to own your scars – to deal with the realities of life and love, as you grow into the strongest, wisest, truest version of yourself.

2. Mindset is half the battle.

It’s okay to have down days and tough times. Expecting life to be wonderful all the time is wanting to swim in an ocean in which waves only rise up and never come crashing down. However, when you recognize that the rising and crashing waves are part of the exact same ocean, you are able to let go and be at peace with the reality of these ups and downs. It becomes clear that life’s ups require life’s downs. In other words, life isn’t perfect, but it sure is good. Our goal shouldn’t be to create a perfect life, but to live an imperfect life in radical amazement. To get up every morning and take a good look around in a way that takes nothing for granted. Everything is extraordinary. Every day is a gift. Never treat life casually. To be spiritual in any way is to be amazed in every way. Do not let the pain of a situation make you hopeless. Do not let negativity wear off on you. Do not let the bitterness steal your sweetness. Even though others may disagree with you, take pride in the fact that you still know the world to be a beautiful place. Change your thoughts and you change your reality. And mindset is especially powerful when it comes to accepting that…

3. Your biggest fears don’t really exist.

COMING SOON aligned with nature

When times are hard it can be difficult to follow your heart and take another step, but it’s a tragedy to let the lies of fear stop you. Although fear can feel overwhelming, and defeats more people than any other force in the world, it’s not as powerful as it seems. Fear is only as deep as your mind allows. You are still in control. So take control! The key is to acknowledge your fear and directly address it. Fight hard to shine the light of your words upon it. Because if you don’t, if your fear becomes a wordless, obscure darkness that you avoid, and perhaps even manage to briefly forget, you open yourself to future attacks from fear when you least expect it: because you never truly faced the opponent who defeated you. You CAN beat fear if you face it. Be courageous! And remember that courage doesn’t mean you don’t get afraid; courage means you don’t let fear stop you from moving forward with your life. (Angel and I discuss this in more detail in the “Adversity” chapter of 1,000 Little Things Happy, Successful People Do Differently.)

4. You are growing through experience.

Over time you will find that life isn’t necessarily any easier or harder than you thought it was going to be; it’s just that the easy and the hard aren’t exactly the way you had anticipated, and don’t always occur when you expect them to. This isn’t a bad thing; it makes life interesting. With a positive attitude you will always be pleasantly surprised. When you stop expecting things to be a certain way, you can appreciate them for what they are. Ultimately you will realize that life’s greatest gifts are rarely wrapped the way you expected. Experience is what you get when your plans don’t go as planned, and experience is the most valuable commodity you own – it builds your strength. You have the power to turn your wounds and worries into wisdom; you just have to do something about them. You have to accept what has happened and use what you’ve learned to step forward. Everything you’ve experienced has given you the upper hand for dealing with everything you have yet to experience. Realize this and set yourself free.

When yo yourself sa alone,” it’s worried m to sell yo

5. You can’t change situations you don’t take responsibility for.

Sigmund Freud once said, “Most people do not really want freedom, because freedom involves responsibility, and most people are frightened of responsibility.” Don’t let this be you. When you blame others for what you’re going through, you deny responsibility – you surrender power over that part of your life. Make no mistake, in the end, the price of happiness IS responsibility. As soon as you stop making everyone and everything else responsible for your happiness, the

Although fear can feel overwhe than any other force in the world

The wisest, most loving, and well rounded people you have ever met are likely those who have known misery

happier you’ll be. If you’re unhappy now, it’s not someone else’s fault. Ultimately, your happiness depends on your self-reliance – your unshakable willingness to take responsibility for your life from this moment forward, regardless of who had a hand in making it the way it is now. It’s about taking control of your present circumstances, thinking for yourself, and making a firm choice to choose differently. It’s about being the hero of your life, not the victim.

6. The present is all you really have to deal with.

Life is not lived in some distant, imagined land of someday where everything is perfect. It is lived here and now, with the reality of the way things are. Yes, by all means you can work toward an idealized tomorrow. Yet to do so, you must successfully deal with the world as it is today. Sometimes we avoid experiencing exactly where we are because we have developed a belief, based on past experiences, that it is not where we should be or want to be. But the truth is, where you are now is exactly where you need to be to get to where you want to go tomorrow. So appreciate where you are. Your friends and family are too beautiful to ignore. Take a moment to remember how fortunate you are to be breathing. Take a look around, with your eyes earnestly open to the possibilities before you. Much of what you fear does not exist. Much of what you love is closer than you realize. You are just one brief thought away from understanding the blessing that is your life. Happiness is a mindset that can only be designed into the present. It’s not a point in the future or a moment from the past; yet sadly, this misconception hurts the masses. So many young people seem to think all their happiness awaits them in the years ahead, while so many older people believe

ou hear ay, “I am all s just your mind trying ou a lie.

their best moments are behind them. Don’t be either of them. Don’t let the past and the future steal your present.

are not alone. 7. There is always, always, 10.InYou the midst of hard times, it’s easy to always something to be look around and see a bunch of people who seem to be doing just fine. But they’re not. thankful for. Life is better when you’re smiling. Being positive in a negative situation is not naive; it’s a sign of leadership and strength. You’re doing it right when you have so much to cry and complain about, but you prefer to smile and appreciate your life instead. What if you woke up tomorrow with only the things you were thankful for today? Think of all the beauty that remains around you, see it and smile. Be thankful for all the small things in your life, because when you put them all together you will see just how significant they are. At the end of the day, it’s not happiness that makes us thankful, but thankfulness that makes us happy.

8. Great things take time.

Instant results are rarely the best results. With patience, you can greatly expand your potential. If your desires were always fulfilled immediately, you would have nothing to look forward to. You would miss out on the joys of anticipation and progress. Remember, patience is not about waiting; it’s the ability to keep a good attitude while working hard for what you believe in. It’s the willingness to stay focused, confidently staking one small step at a time, knowing that the way you move a mountain is by moving one stone at a time. Every stone you move, no matter how small, is progress. Bottom line: You deserve more than mere instant gratification. Value that arrives in an instant is often gone in an instant. Value that takes time and commitment to create often outlives its creator – YOU.

9. Other people cannot validate you.

When we’re struggling to achieve something important, sometimes we look to others to validate our progress. But the truth is, they can’t… You are not in this world to live up to the expectations of others, nor should you feel that others are here to live up to yours. Pave

elming, and defeats more people d, it’s not as powerful as it seems. Page 13

your own unique path. What success means to each of us is totally different. Success is ultimately about spending your life happily in your own way. You don’t have to be flashy to be impressive. You don’t have to be famous to be significant. You don’t have to be a celebrity to be successful. You don’t need to be validated by anyone else. You are already valuable. You just need to believe in yourself and what you wish to achieve. You can be quietly humble and still be amazingly effective. Just because people don’t fall at your feet and worship you, doesn’t mean you are a failure. Quiet success is just as sweet as loud, flamboyant success, and usually far more real. Success is how you define it, not what everyone else says it must be for you.

We’re all struggling in our own way. And if we could just be brave enough to open up about it, and talk to each other, we’d realize that we are not alone in feeling lost and alone. So many of us are fighting the same exact battle alongside you. We are all in this together. So no matter how embarrassed or pathetic you feel about your own situation,

know that there are others out there experiencing the same emotions. When you hear yourself say, “I am all alone,” it’s just your worried mind trying to sell you a lie. There’s always someone who can relate to you. Perhaps you can’t immediately talk to them, but they are out there. If you’re feeling desperate right now, hear me: I often feel and think and struggle much like you do. I care about many of the things you care about, just in my own way. And although some people do not understand us, we understand each other. YOU are not alone! Afterthoughts One of life’s greatest gifts is the fact that life is difficult. Because in dealing with life’s difficulties, we build invaluable strength. This strength enables us to successfully fulfill our deepest, most meaningful purposes. It is precisely because life is difficult that we are able to make it great. It is because life is difficult that we are able to rise above the difficulties. We are able to make a difference and we are able to truly matter. So remember this… When times are tough, you must be tougher. Don’t pray for an easy life; pray for the strength to endure a tough one that leads to greatness.

NOWN TO THE EGYPTIANS as the plant of immortality and to Native Americans as the wand of heaven, aloe vera comes with a wide array of amazing healing properties — some of which you may already be aware. You might even have your own aloe vera plant in your home for those small emergencies like scrapes, cuts, and burns, but did you know that aloe vera is not only limited to topical use and is actually even more beneficial to your body when taken internally? Aloe vera contains over 200 biologically active, naturally occurring constituents which include polysaccharides, vitamins, enzymes, amino acids, and minerals that promote nutrient absorption. According to The Journal of Environmental Science and Health, aloe vera also possesses anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal properties that assist the immune system in cleansing the body of toxins and invading pathogens. But that isn’t all aloe vera juice/gel has to offer.[1]

Aloe vera has loads of minerals including calcium, magnesium, zinc, chromium, selenium, sodium, iron, potassium, copper, and manganese. These minerals work together to boost metabolic pathways.

Aloe Vera contains important enzymes like amylase and lipase that can aid in digestion by breaking down fat and sugar molecules. One molecule in particular, Bradykinase, helps to reduce inflammation.

One study showed that aloe vera actually contains vitamin B12, which

What Aloe Vera Does In Your Body Why Egyptians Called It The Plant Of Immortality is required for the production of red blood cells. That would be great news for vegetarians and vegans in particular, who often do not get adequate amounts of B12 through their regular diet. Keep in mind however, that was just one instance and you shouldn’t rely on aloe alone for your daily requirements of b12. Other studies have shown that taking aloe can assist with the bioavailability of vitamin B12, meaning the body can more easily to absorb and utilize it which can prevent deficiency. Aloe vera is also a source of vitamins A, C,E, folic acid, choline, B1, B2, B3 (niacin), and B6. While it’s tough to say

whether we could rely on Aloe as a source of B12, it can be used in conjunction with a supplement to help increase uptake.

Amino Acids

Aloe vera contains 20 of the 22 essential amino acids that are required by the human body. It also contains salicylic acid, which fights inflammation and bacteria.

Some people don’t use it for any spiritual purposes, but to help them relax and clear their minds of all of the stress and drama that comes with living on earth, without the negative physical side effects associated with alcohol. I could write a whole other article about alcohol, which I don’t think poses much genuine spiritual value and, in my opinion, is much more harmful than cannabis… but I’ll leave that for another time.

The intention of this article was to provide a (hopefully) sensible perspective on what I feel is cannabis’ genuine spiritual value, and I stand by the legions of people who advocate it. We have to follow our passions in life, and if you’re passionate about something most of society still shuns, you might have to look deep within and find the courage to pursue your passion despite the fact that others will judge and condemn you for it. Condemnation isn’t the way of the new world we want to create, and hopefully, everyone will eventually respect our different perspectives, opinions and passions. When we can all respect our differences, and honor what mother nature provides, we can come together to create something better and more in favor of the needs of the many (as opposed to the few) than our current system. We have to set the example by loving and respecting each other right now, and

colon, aloe can also offer effective relief from more immediate ailments, such as indigestion, upset stomach, ulcers, and inflammation in the gut. It also strengthens the digestive tract and alleviates joint inflammation, making it a great option for arthritis sufferers. One study found that aloe vera juice, when taken the same way as a mouthwash, was just as effective at removing plaque as the common mouthwash and its active ingredient, chlorhexidine. This is a much better alternative because it is all-natural, unlike the typical chemical-laden options found in stores. Aloe vera gel has also been found to effectively heal mouth ulcers, which are more commonly known as canker sores.

How To Take Aloe?

Aloe can be consumed straight from the plant, but the easiest and most palatable option is probably aloe juice, which you can find in most health food stores. You can also buy the leaves from many common grocery stores, or harvest your own, and juice them yourself. You can buy the juice and mix it into your juices and smoothies or just drink it straight up. Make sure you are buying pure aloe juice/gel which is either of the whole leaf or just the inner filet. It does have a somewhat bitter taste though, so you may want to include other things. On the bottle you can find specific dosing instructions, but it would be wise to talk to a natural health expert or do some research into the matter to find instructions on specific dosing. History.html this involves the willingness not to reject people who think differently or embrace things that society shuns – including our right to access other states of consciousness. I think society will eventually accept cannabis, and the acceptance is already beginning with its use becoming legal in a few different states here in the U.S. The time has come for cannabis’ benefits (and downsides) to be understood in a levelheaded way, and those of you who are passionate about it can feel free to break any silence you may have maintained and voice your support for this popular spiritual assistant. In embracing it, keep in mind that there are right and wrong ways to use it. Be careful not to fall into the trap of dependence that so many users seem to have fallen into. Almost anything can be good if used responsibly, and it’s similar to how you wouldn’t want to drink too much tea or eat too much food – because of the obvious negative consequences. But the negative aspects of cannabis use (or of the use of anything else) don’t necessarily have to deter us from embracing it; we’ll just want to keep those negative aspects in mind. Centeredness can go a long way, so if you choose to experience the ‘sacred herb’, let’s remember to be sensible. (Share this article freely.) HE WAY OF NURTURING and sustaining an ‘interior life’ (the subject of a previous essay) has been present throughout human culture and society for all time. It is not something new; rather, our forgetting of its presence and importance is the new factor that has, relatively speaking, recently entered into human affairs. Throughout the ages various wisdom teachings have operated within humanity with the aim and intention of permanently raising a person/group/community’s consciousness to a ‘finer’ – or altered – level of perception. Temporary glimpses of these ‘altered perceptions’ have fascinated humankind for millennia, stretching as far back as when our human ancestors were cave dwellers. This lineage of what we may call the visionary path has a long history: including shamanism; spiritual practices; religious ritual; and the inculcation of ecstatic states, etc, both in pre-modern as well as modern cultures. For as long as humanity has existed, it has been experiencing glimpses of other realms, and thereby attempting, through many and various means, to recapture these experiences. In some instances people have accidentally and temporarily glimpsed these states through such events as a near-death experience, tragedy, or similar ‘shock impacts.’ Similarly, there can be ‘almost random’ contact achieved with such altered states of consciousness within

The Visionary Path

ordinary life. Often these contacts have been glimpsed – in a transitory way – by the use of artificial aids, such as by means of induced intoxication. Yet these glimpses are more or less temporary, though some people attempt to continue to recapture these experiences, perhaps incorrectly thinking/believing that it will lead to a permanent state. This activity, and this way of thinking, is often more destructive than good. What this frequently shows is a lack of information/ knowledge on the part of the individual. This often reveals itself when a person attempts to induce such transitory experiences when they clearly lack the knowledge of how to correctly learn from and utilize its significance. Without a correct developmental function, such experiences are more likely to confuse and misdirect a person rather than induce developmental understanding in them. At our basic level of awareness there is no perceptible pattern to the flow of events. We do not have access to objective reality, although there can be moments and instances when glimpses occur. The phenomenon of miracles is an example of this, when the laws of a reality outside of our own intervene/operate within our subjective reality. Likewise, many ancient tales, fables, allegories, etc, are

representations of what we refer to as a ‘higher dimension’ operating within our own. Such cultural impulses help us, whether we are conscious of it or not, to re-frame our perception of our current consensus of reality and its accepted truths. What we often take to be reality is in fact only a very thin slice of a much ‘bigger picture.’ The visionary path is an inward path; as such, it requires a disciplined focus. However, modern societies not only do not cater to such practices, they often actively dissuade us from approaching them. That is, the visionary path – which is a way of gnosis (i.e., direct experience) – is not encouraged or supported. The result of this is that people in general do not see – or feel – a need for such a discipline. Modern life keeps us occupied and, more or less, satisfied with other pursuits. The visionary path of gnosis thus drops away from view – there is seemingly no need for it. Unfortunately, it is often the case that ‘shock impacts’ are required in order for us to shift our attention away from the ‘straight path’ of normal living. It may be that modern life requires a crisis point – in its material, consumptive lifestyles – for there to arise within people the need for something else. It is in such moments of deep communal and personal

reflection that an inner realization may occur: the recognition that common – that is, consensus – culture and tradition whether social, political, or religious, do not provide for sufficient meaning in our lives. This awareness of the need for a meaningful life often occurs in times when there is a noticeable deterioration in social and cultural systems. Such recognition – or re-cognition – is not yet dominant among the majority of our highly industrialized, ‘civilized’ nations. We have developed our faith, our reason, our mental pursuits; we have established industry and created marvelous technologies – yet we have failed to ‘work on ourselves,’ as they say. We have been left behind from the vale of ‘soul-making,’ to quote again the Romantic poet Keats.[i] And yet the signs have always been there for us to see. When our early cave-dwelling ancestors first made their handprints upon the walls of their caves they were signaling to the external world ‘I am here – I exist.’ The inner spark of the human being was attempting to be heard – to be imprinted onto the outer life. It was an early stage in the expression and stabilizing of human consciousness. In each epoch human consciousness perceives and interprets its sense of reality in a particular way. The modern consciousness we share today is far removed from the animistic consciousness that our far ancestors had access to. That is, animistic in regards to how the boundaries between ‘out there’ and ‘in here’ were perceived as being less fixed by the pre-modern mind. As has always been the case, perception is also a matter of experience. How we

O MANY OF US are going through our face and body-care products, tossing away many that contain unpronounceable chemical ingredients and replacing them with cleaner, natural products that we find in the body-care and cosmetic aisles of health food stores and even pharmacies. The selection just seems to keep expanding, as savvy customers demand safer products for themselves and their families and companies are jumping to fill the demand. Yet perhaps some of those greener, cleaner products may not be as wholesome as we are led By Glennis Taylor to believe. Just because it says natural doesn’t mean it is necessarily a healthy choice. I felt confident with my choices until I chatted with the owner of Beaulance Natural Skin Care. What she told me was surprising. Margaret Macintosh has been formulating, producing and distributing her quality skin care products since the year 2000. With all her experience and research into ingredients over the years, she has a sharp understanding of the industry and its standards. What really got my attention was when she asked me what colour most natural face creams are. White seems to be the colour...a purity we associate with white. She likens this pure white cream to Wonderbread which is stripped of almost all nutrients. The wholesome nutrient rich raw ingredients are rarely white, but have

Page 16

been bleached, refined and processed to arrive at the pure whiteness of the cream that we lovingly apply to our faces hoping to nourish the skin and keep time at bay. It makes sense that bigger skincare companies, even the natural ones, manufacture their products in larger quantities. These are then shipped all over the world and must have a shelf life of up to 3 to 5 years. It makes economic sense to use cheaper ingredients that will remain stable longer, but do we really want to apply a cream that is potentially toxic? Margaret informed me that 93 cents of every dollar these larger companies spend goes to marketing. Using the cheaper more processed ingredients allows them to cut costs at the expense of quality. Some of the essential oils listed on the labels may be cut with odourless synthetics that our noses cannot detect. It becomes difficult as a consumer to know what we are

actually getting in the products we purchase. Full disclosure is not required on skin care products, which seems shocking as we all know that what goes on the skin ends up in the body. Margaret encourages us to buy from reputable local skin care companies that make smaller batches of product with top quality organic or wild-crafted ingredients sourced from reliable small scale specialized suppliers. Her Beaulance Natural line of skin-care products is carefully formulated with well researched ingredients that show results. Full of wholesome nutrients, they feel rich and creamy on the skin. There are no fillers used in Beaulance products, just pure unadulterated raw ingredients are used that provide the skin with the healthiest nutrients. Margaret’s journey in the skin care world began back in Toronto, when an article in an

aromatherapy journal inspired her to learn more. Taking herbal courses, product development courses and aromatherapy, she took all she had learned and made her own creams that her friends loved and encouraged her to market. After perfecting her formulations, she marketed them in Toronto for over 10 years before moving to Victoria. The testimonials that she gets are amazing. Women that have very sensitive skin and have searched endlessly for products that they could use are so thankful to find the Beaulance line. Others testify that no other products they have used have provided the great results they now see with Beaulance Natural Skin Care products. Beaulance’s flagship product is the popular Naturose Face Cream. Used with the Sea Rose Cleansing Lotion they are the basics that Margaret recommends. She has also developed serums for the more mature skin profile: full of essential fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Her newest product, Col-HA-gen serum blends collagen with hyaluronic acid to encourage suppleness and elasticity for a youthful look. The hyaluronic acid is amazing at filling in the fine lines and wrinkles by keeping moisture in the skin. It is to be applied under the face cream. Customers rave about the Natural Sun Lotion that goes on very smoothly and is wonderfully effective. These wholesome plant based Beaulance Natural Skin Care products are all made with the cleanest, simplest and purest ingredients, are very affordable and most importantly, provide the customer with the results they are seeking. When in a world of chemicals, chemicals everywhere, we can still choose wisely when it comes to what we put on and in our bodies.

The Microcosmic Orbit Taoist Secret of Higher Consciousness

By Dylan Charles

HE HUMAN BODY is endowed with spiritual anatomy, using energy to support life and consciousness. As a microcosm of the universe, the energetic circulatory system of the body mirrors the patterns we find in the cosmos, flowing in orbital patterns along channels often referred to as meridians. As planets move in orbit around stars, so too electrons orbit the nuclei of atoms, creating bio-electricity, forming the matter which makes up our bodies. We are electric beings, and when our circuitry is operating efficiently, our personal energy, health and wellness increase exponentially. Material science is catching up to this understanding, acknowledging practices like acupuncture as effective methods of addressing health concerns. However, while we hold out for a concrete explanation of our bio-circuitry, we can draw on centuries of work done by the esoteric scientists who’ve developed a broad range of systems of meditations and physical exercises to cultivate, strengthen and refine one’s chi, or life force energy. Most notably with the practices of Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Kundalini Yoga, and energetic meditations, which focus on the development of chi and pranic energy. “But what is this “chi”, and where does it come from? The chi is the primordial life force itself. It begins in human life with the piercing of an egg by a sperm cell. From this original fusion an enormously complex new human being develops. “Chi” is the continuous flow of energy linking the various tissues, organs and brain functions into a unified whole

Page 17

person. Chi also links this person to his a environment.” ~Mantak Chia Living heir of ancient Taoist philosophy, author, teacher and healer Mantak Chia works with a unique system he calls Universal Healing Tao. Included in this comprehensive approach to wellness is a specific practice for opening the Microcosmic Orbit within the energy body, offering dedicated practitioners an easy and profound way to directly experience the movement of chi in the body. “‘Opening the routes’ means clearing all obstructions that impede the flow of chi energy in their natural paths. Most obstructions take the form of physical, mental, or emotional tension.” ~Mantak Chia The Microcosmic Orbit is a concept familiar to many energetic practices, especially Qi Gong, and many exercises can be found to develop this particular aspect of the energy body, however, Chia’s method, as explained in his book, Awaken Healing Energy Through The Tao: The Taoist Secret of Circulating Internal Power, is particularly accessible to beginners and those looking to explore chi development for the first time. Essentially, the practice is a selfguided meditation focusing on the two main routes of chi energy in the body, the ‘Functional’ vessel, which runs from the base of the torso near the perineum

flowing upward across the major organs and glandular systems of the body to the throat. The ‘Governor’ vessel begins also at the perineum, and “flows from the perineum upwards into the tailbone and then up through the spine into the brain, and back down to the roof of the mouth.” Comparing the planetary orbits of the celestial bodies in our universe to the energetic system of the body, Chia explains how this meditative practice opens up the primary body’s primary bioelectrical route, allowing an orbital flow of energy to move effortlessly through and around all the major vital organs of the body. Here, Chia compares the energy meridians to the electrical wiring of a house: “The two main energy channels of the body can be compared to the main wiring of a house. Imagine a trunk line which brings power from outside into the building’s service panel. This panel contains the circuit breakers that protect the inside wiring from short circuits and overloads. It also has the switches that control the current to all the rooms inside the house. This inside wiring is like the “six special power routes” in the body used in higher levels of Taoist meditation that branch off from the Microcosmic Orbit. In higher levels there are additional “wires” for especially heavy loads of energy

that might surge into the system — the “thrusting route” in the middle of the body is one such wire. Once your house, like your body, is properly wired and all the safety precautions have been made, it is ready to connect to the main utility company trunk line for power. You are ready to receive the power that comes from above and from beneath you without harm.” ~Mantak Chia

Final Thoughts

Anyone has the capacity to increase their personal energy, develop their chi, and directly experience the profound effects of practices such as this one. The benefits for those who diligently cultivate chi are numerous, including peace of mind, higher awareness, emotional balance, more radiant health, better sleep, stronger immunity, increased psychic and intuitive powers, and most importantly, an increased capacity to heal. For further explanation of this subject, as discussed by Mantak Chia himself, take a look at the following presentation. watch?v=nzoPhu-Kr-Q Please see online for links and references: http://www.wakingtimes. com/2017/02/10/microcosmic-orbittaoist-pathway-higher-consciousness/

These incredible plants were used by Native Americans to cure illness 7. Wild Rose

By Vicki Batts

Tea made from wild rose hips was traditionally used to stimulate kidney function and bladder function. A rose petal infusion can also be used to help relieve sore throats; the petals can also be used to make a tasty jam. The roots of the wild rose plant can also be made into a mild decoction for diarrhea.

ATIVE AMERICAN MEDICINE is something that many people hold in high regard. Their traditional techniques and natural remedies are truly something to marvel at. Every Native American tribe has its own unique approach. The Cherokee, a tribe indigenous to the Southeastern United States, believed that the “Creator” gave them the gift of being able to understand and preserve medicinal herbs. A number of different herbs and plants can be used as medicine, as they once were. Here are nine plants that the Cherokee tribe used to cure a variety of different symptoms:

8. Mullein

According to The Cherokee, this herb can be used to help treat asthma and clear away chest congestion. Inhaling smoke from the burning leaves and roots is said to actually help open your airways and calm your lungs. Decoctions made from mullein can be used for foot soaks to relieve pain and inflammation. Flowers from the mullein plant were also used to make a tea with a mild sedative effect.

1. Big Stretch (Wild Ginger)

Mild tea made from the wild ginger plant was believed to help stimulate the digestion process. The Cherokee believed it could also treat stomach problems, colic and even intestinal gas. Another Native American tribe, known as The Meskwaki, used pulverized wild ginger stems to treat ear infections.

2. Hummingbird Blossom (Buck Brush)

Hummingbird blossom was used to treat a wide variety of conditions. Traditionally, it was used as a diuretic to stimulate kidney function, but it was also used to treat inflamed tonsils or lymph nodes and other oral issues, as well as menstrual bleeding. Modern day laboratory research has indicated that hummingbird blossom is great for treating lymphatic blockages and

3.Wild Mint

Mint remains popular today as a tasty herbal tea that’s also packed with antioxidants. The Cherokee used mint to assist with digestion, and also ground the leaves up to create ointments or for use in cold compresses. Mint was also added to baths to help relieve itchy skin.

4. Blackberry

These berries are loaded with antioxidants and nutrients that help to support good health. In addition to the delicious berries, a tea can also be made from the root of the plant, which is said to help decrease swelling in the joints and bodily tissues. Chewing on the leaves of the blackberry plant is also said to help relieve bleeding gums.

5. Cattail

Cattails have been regarded as a great preventive medicine and, barring the seed heads and mature leaves, is digested fairly easily. Boiled and mashed cattails were often used to create a paste to treat burns and other sores. Seed down, or the fluff from the seed blooms, was also used to help prevent skin irritations for infants.

6. Sumac

Sumac is touted as having many different uses. The bark, for example, can be made into a mild decoction to help soothe diarrhea. Tea made from sumac leaves is also said to help reduce fevers. There are many types of sumac, so one must be careful not to choose poison sumac.

9. Yarrow

The crushed-up leaves of this well-known plant were traditionally used to encourage blood clotting. The crushed leaves were applied topically to wounds to help stop the bleeding. Yarrow juice, mixed with fresh water, was also said to help stop intestinal bleeding. Tea made from yarrow leaves is said to boost digestion and assist with kidney and gallbladder issues. Herbal medicine is truly nature’s medicine, and there is so much more we have to learn about it, especially from other cultures. “Spiritual bypassing is a very persistent shadow of spirituality, manifesting in many forms, often without being acknowledged. “ ~ R. Augustus

By Aletheia Luna

HAT COMES TO mind when you think of ‘spirituality’? You might picture beautiful temples, ethereal instruments, golden Buddha’s, gardens and forests of paradise, the faces of enlightened masters, angels, mountain ranges, sunsets, or any number of other dazzling images. We tend to associate spirituality with transcendental, heightened states of being that are invariably associated with the feelings of happiness, joy, deep inner peace and contentment. While all of this is true and wonderful, many of us become intoxicated, distracted and ensnared by these highly attractive images of spirituality, avoiding the darker, painful and more exhausting sides of such a path. At its core, spiritual bypassing is like any other form of avoidance that rewards us with a false feeling of security and happiness, while undermining our deeper path of self-growth and transformation.

Spiritual Bypassing: An Enticing Form Of Escapism

“What you resist, persists.” ~ C. G. Jung For a long time I struggled with understanding what ‘true’ spirituality looked and felt like. I would look in the newspapers and find ads from kooky looking psychic women promoting their services, or browse the internet and find alluring pages dedicated to finding your ‘guardian angel’. I would read books about “optimism” and articles about casting spells to attract love and prosperity. But amidst all of this searching, I just never felt a connection with any of these things. They felt somehow amiss, something, somehow, seemed intuitively off-center and “wrong” about them. It was only in the past year that I discovered why I had always felt this way about certain spiritual practices. The answer I found was that many practices falling under the guise of spirituality are actually forms of spiritual bypassing. My simplified definition of spiritual bypassing is this: To spiritually bypass is to use spirituality to avoid, suppress or escape from uncomfortable issues in life. These issues could be the loss of a loved one, a relationship break up, family problems, childhood abuse, loneliness, low self-esteem, self- sabotaging behaviours, fear, mental or emotional health issues, or any other problems life presents. To many people, spirituality becomes

What Is Spiritual Bypassing?

a sort of crutch used as a way of standing back up again in the face of life’s turmoil – and sometimes this is necessary. We all need support at some time or another in our lives – but the problem comes when spirituality is used as a drug for which we become dependent on in order to bypass the darker elements of our lives. When spirituality is used as a defense mechanism to ward off the gremlins and dirty little devils of our existences, it actually becomes our greatest hindrance, preventing us from developing true courage, authenticity and wholeness; qualities that refine our souls. While the use of spirituality can provide us with a solid wall to hide behind, in doing so it traps us in an all-is-happy-and-perfect jail cell of illusions.

Types Of Spiritual Bypassing

“What gives light must endure burning.” ~ V. Frankl The reality is that not everything in life is ‘love and light’ as is the slogan for many spiritual seekers. Pursuing the light and living enlightened, raw and deeply interconnected existences is also about setting yourself on fire. It is about creating an inferno of your false beliefs, illusions and separating desires, ideals and prejudices. It is about surrendering to the destruction of every limiting thing you ever thought and felt about yourself, other people and the world. Spirituality is not always pretty. In fact, often times it is the most shattering, tumultuous and testing experience we can go through in life. But only once we emerge from the embers of our destruction can we be reborn – like phoenixes – into new lives of clarity and purity. The truth is that there are many types of spiritual bypassing that we sometimes don’t recognize (or refuse to recognize) in life. I have listed a few examples below that you are free to add to in the comments.

I) The Optimistic Bypass

We’ve all come across people in life who love to laugh and smile, yet seem to be forcefully optimistic. “Focus on the positive!” “See the glass as half full!” “Don’t let a frown get you down!” are some of the catchcry’s of these people who tend to use optimism as a way of avoiding the more somber and troublesome realities of life. The optimistic bypass is often a side product of anger-phobia, or the inability to deal with negative emotions.

II) The Aggrandizement Bypass

This is a type of self-delusion that some spiritual seekers use as a way of masking their perceived deficiencies and insecurities. The aggrandizement bypass is adopted by those who seek to feel enlightened, superior or having reached higher planes of existence. It is sometimes used by self-proclaimed masters, leaders, awakened souls, and gurus.

III) The Victim Bypass

When one becomes a victim of their gifts, or of other people, this takes away the pressure of responsibility for shaping a satisfying life and taking responsibility for one’s happiness – such is the case with the Victim Bypass. This type of spiritual bypassing is often used by spiritual seekers who believe they have extrasensory gifts of some kind, but due to their gifts they are unable to feel happy or healthy. Identifying as an Empath is sometimes a good example of this type of bypassing, as it can be interpreted as the fault of other people and their emotions for behaving in self-destructive and volatile ways.

IV) The Psychonaut Bypass

Many spiritual seekers explore the frontiers of the mind, the soul and reality through the use of psychedelic drugs such as LSD, DMT, psilocybin mushrooms, mescaline and other entheogens that expand the mind and perception of existence. While this is a fascinating way of exploring reality, entheogens, like any other drug, can sometimes be used as a way of escaping reality and avoiding committing to personal development and soulful refinement.

V) The Horoscope Bypass

When we frequently look outside of ourselves for help and guidance, as is with the case with Horoscopes and Psychics, we are failing to tap into our inner wellsprings of wisdom and strength and are allowing external predictions to control the outcome of our lives. The Horoscope Bypass is derived from a fear and mistrust of ourselves, our inability to make decisions, and our inability to deal with anything tough that comes our way.

VI) The Saint Bypass

Since we were little we were taught that spiritual people were kind, compassionate and saintly. We continued to repeat this story to ourselves when we ripened into adulthood, and for some of us it turned into our biggest nightmare. The Saint Bypass is a reflection of extreme “black or white” thinking, promoting the underlying belief that spiritual people can’t have dark sides because that would make them “unspiritual”. This type of bypassing is essentially an avoidance of one’s own Shadow Self by overcompensating with the guise of a sweet, heavenly, exterior. Selfsacrifice is a major symptom of this type of bypassing.

VII) The Spirit Guide Bypass

“I have an angel called Raphael who protects me.” In some spiritual traditions it is a God who protects, in others an angel, an animal or an ascended being. No matter who the Spirit Guide is, the belief that they are there to “protect” us is pleasing to the mind, but harmful to the soul. When we place our faith in another being’s power to ward off danger and keep us safe, we are committing a classic spiritual bypass: that being avoiding responsibility for ourselves and our lives, and sidestepping the tough development

Page 19

of courage and resilience. We are not children, but when we think of ourselves as being so we mould our lives in such a way that we fail to develop strength of spiritual character. Spirit guides serve to teach us rather than to babysit us.

VIII) The Praying Bypass

Similar to the Spirit Guide Bypass, the Praying Bypass circumvents personal responsibility by putting faith in a higher being to solve all of our problems and issues. While praying can be a healthy practice, it can easily become limiting and destructive.

IX) The Guru Bypass

Often it is beneficial to latch onto a particular guru, shaman or spiritual teacher to learn and grow from, however, too much attachment can serve as another form of spiritual bypassing. While not everyone has the ability to independently follow the path of spirituality, when we begin to worship another living being, we fall in love with the rose-colored illusory image we have of the teacher rather than the essence of their teachings. Not thinking or discovering truth for ourselves by treating the words of a guru or master as scripture subtracts from our growth and our own mastery on our personal spiritual journeys.

X) The Finger-Pointing Bypass

On our spiritual quests we begin to see through the lies, delusions and crazy behaviors committed by our fellow human beings and this can make us angry, downhearted and greatly frustrated. However, when we get caught up in “everything that is wrong” with the outside world and other people, dedicating our lives to the self-righteous quest of finger pointing, this can be another form of spiritual bypassing. Finger pointing instills us with a false sense of righteousness, taking away our responsibility of looking inside and working on ourselves. At its roots, the Finger-Pointing bypass is sourced from fear and avoidance, and is a powerful form of procrastination. *** Certainly, there are many other forms of spiritual bypassing, but here I present the most common ones that are easily observable in everyday life. From what I have learned, it can be absolutely terrifying to personally expose yourself and the most profoundly vulnerable parts of your being to the process of purification. But slowly as you set afire all illusions and falsities, you see that life is much clearer, more connected, deeply satisfying and indescribably joyful.

the effect of the crystals and broadcast the energy. Any type of metal may be used, although there is some dispute amongst the orgonite community over what the best metals are. Brass, aluminum, steel, copper, and iron have all been used with great success by different orgonite makers. A copper coil is not required, but is helpful, as copper repels negative ions, which clean the air and promote rainfall. Alternative materials to catalyzing resin have been shown in Kirlian photography to make orgonite with a negligible energy field, and are not recommended for tactical use. The energy of orgonite is the same as the energy field of a mountain. When orgonite is made correctly, it creates a scalar wave vortex, which is an interdimensional, spiraling wave, reaching from Earth into space. It acts like a vacuum for toxins, sweeping up the heavy metals from chemtrail spraying and throwing them away from the Earth. Ken Rohla has described this effect as an “upside down tornado” of energy. This manifests visually in spiral or funnel shaped clouds that occur when orgone energy acts upon the geoengineering toxins. Another clear indication of strong orgone energy is chemtrails which break apart, a deepening of the blue of the sky, and the formation of pure white puffs of cloud out of the toxins. Orgone energy creates a healthy atmosphere in which the heavy metals cannot persist. Sometimes round UFO shaped clouds appear over mountain peaks. These are called lenticular clouds. The same clouds may appear in flatlands when orgonite is introduced to the area, showing the similar energy field of orgonite to a mountain peak’s energy. Dowin Gardner, author of The Science of Rain, also known as Orgonite Austin on YouTube, has offered further elaboration on the healing effects of orgone energy devices on the Earth, and how they help bring back rain in times of drought. Drought is caused more by the energy used in the geoengineering programs than by the heavy metals themselves. Wilhelm Reich found in his research of desert conditions that drought is artificially created by the presence of DOR, or deadly

orgone radiation, which is the opposite of the life force energy. This was the case in the recent California drought. While many dwell on HAARP and the chemtrails as the culprits, the biggest issue today is that our land has been gridded with cell towers, which are constantly releasing deadly EMF in cities and the countryside. The chemtrails would never persist without the EMF of the towers creating the unhealthy energy field that assists the heavy metals in lingering and spreading across the sky. Furthermore, EMF and dirty electricity in our homes and cities positively ionize the atmosphere by releasing stray electrons. This makes it impossible for humidity to turn into clouds. A negatively ionized atmosphere is necessary for the hydrogen bond to form between water molecules. Orgone energy is negatively ionizing, which cleans the air and promotes cloud formation. The look of “smog” in cities, deserts, and valleys is caused by positive ions allowing pollution to persist in the air. It is essentially electrosmog, rather than simply pollution caused by car exhaust, and often occurs in areas with little traffic or industry. Orgone energy also neutralizes EMF by restructuring the wave and making it quieter and more coherent. Ken Rohla describes this as taking a chaotic waveform and transforming it into parallel lines that pass through the body in a less disruptive

way. Dowin Gardner describes the energy field of the human body as being shaped like the roots of a tree, while the energy from cell phones and other wireless technology is shaped like an onion. The cells in our body cannot communicate properly when trying to conform to an incompatible energy field. This is why EMF causes sleep problems, illness, and eventually cancer. It makes the body sick just as it makes the atmosphere sick. Orgone energy not only works outdoors to stop geoengineering, but it works in the home to create a negatively ionized, peaceful atmosphere, and to reduce the health hazards of EMF. It is vitally important for our health and the future of our planet that we reduce EMF sources and take responsibility on a local level. We can start in our own homes and communities by removing sources of EMF, such as wireless internet, cell phones, cordless phones, smart meters, and compact fluorescent light bulbs, replacing them with their safer counterparts. Using a corded landline and saving the cell phone only for when it’s necessary, using ethernet cables for internet access, and replacing harmful CFL bulbs with gentle incandescent bulbs are but a few ways to get started toward having an energetically healthy home. Orgonite always helps, but the less EMF you have to deal with, the cleaner your home will be, so eliminating the devices in

Research. Another option is purified chondroitin sulfates. The credit for this research starts with Lester Morrison MD in the 1970’s. But recent data confirms the role of chondroitin sulfate in heart disease. It interferes with the pro-inflammatory activation of monocytes and endothelial cells driven by TNF-α. This serves to lower cardiac risk (13). As mentioned above, heparan sulfate, chondroitin sulfate, dermatan sulfate, keratan sulfate are all major components of the glycocalyx and healthy endothelial cell function.

Sulfur in Supplements

Credit Dr. George Mann MD in 1960 with demonstrating that sulfur supplementation protects monkeys from atherosclerosis (11). This is the same Dr. Mann who was a fierce critic of the cholesterol-sat fat-heart disease hypothesis and opponent to Ancel Keyes MD. There are many choices when it comes to supplementing for sulfur. The most well known and studied is MSM. Only found in small amounts in food, MSM contains sulfur and is used for conditions ranging from arthritis to leaky gut to inflammation and oxidative stress (12). NAC and alpha lipoic acid have been used with success. Glutathione is typically not well absorbed orally but newer forms of liposomal glutathione and topical preparations may be better options. Garlic supplements have plenty of data and there are some excellent companies including Kyolic and Biotics

Monsanto and Glyphosate

When it comes to the toxicity of glyphosate, Stephanie Seneff PhD is the authority. She views coronary artery disease as a deficiency is cholesterol sulfate. And what inhibits the formation of cholesterol sulfate? That’s right, glyphosate (14). Not only does glyphosate destroy gut bacteria, but it inhibits the trans-sulfuration pathway. Read more from Dr. Seneff about the devastation caused from glyphosate.

However you choose to do it, get

addition to bringing in orgonite is the best solution. When you consider the amount of EMF coming from just our homes, and realize what an unhealthy atmosphere this creates, you can see that we are also involved in the choice to have clean air and clear skies, or to live in the electrosmog of the frequency control grid. There is no reason that we have to live with chemtrails or suffer from sleeplessness or illness from devices that we can choose to replace with safer alternatives. We need to educate ourselves and be active rather than passively accepting what appears to be easy or convenient. Until everyone figures this out and we have a world without EMF, orgonite is an effective way to survive in this electromagnetic soup of incompatible energy. The clean up of our Earth is a long and involved process, but it begins with each one of us. It’s easy to become frustrated if you’ve put orgonite in your yard and you still see chemtrail spraying, but it’s important to understand that this spraying will not stop. It’s like a computer program that keeps on running. We can, however, clean it up as it happens, and render their poisons useless, the same way we filter our drinking water to remove the fluoride. The poisoning is to be expected at this point. It’s up to us to recognize it and take action for our health and environment. Making or purchasing orgonite for your home is the first step to a safer world, and if you want to take it further, you can gift the orgonite around your community. It can be done anonymously, and hidden by cell towers and any place that needs the energy to be improved. Although there are other ways to produce orgone energy, orgonite is the simplest way, and anyone can make it. Just think of how exciting it is that one human being with the most basic ingredients can make a free energy device for a few dollars that negates this multi-billion dollar operation! The reason for the cover-up of orgone energy is clear. Orgone energy makes the impossible possible, giving us back our world and our divine birthright as men and women living in harmony with our Earth. We are so much more powerful than the parasites because orgone energy is us and it is our Earth. Working with orgone is working with the flow of nature, and the life force energy will always triumph over the energy of death. more sulfate into your diet. Given the fact that sulfur containing foods and garlic supplements are proven to lower heart disease risk, this advice is just what the doctor ordered. Your heart, blood vessels, and the rest of your body will thank you. Now it’s time for me to prepare our dinner of wild salmon with garlic aioli and a side of steamed organic Brussels sprouts. Maybe I will wash it down with a cool glass of Pellegrino. Cheers. that we came from, although sometimes the memory is quite faint. The predators are not any of these things. They don’t have hearts like ours, they don’t have bodies like ours, they don’t have expansive minds like ours. The parasites don’t see what we see. They symbolize themselves as having one all-seeing eye. But they are nothing but cycloptic parasites. And the joke is on them. One eye does not see all. They have

no idea who we really are. We, on the other hand, have as many eyes as we need to free our minds and to free our worlds because we have imagination. If we are dedicated to freeing our world, we must let our children be the brilliant, surprising beings that they are here to be. Because one of them paints like Rembrandt at three years old, or talks like an 80-year-old sage when they haven’t learned to walk, or heals all the sick puppies in the neighbourhood with a simple touch, or walks on water, we must resist boxing them into that role or positioning them above the other child

who is simply throwing mud against the wall. Each will have moments of genius and moments of sluggishness. Guaranteed. Just like you and me. If our children amaze us with their out-of-this-world perspectives, let’s not call them into an archontic ego by giving them labels. If we stay out of their way, their beautiful visions will expand, they will share with other children, and they will expand the heart and soul of this entire world. Our job is to keep them free of the controllers (including the aspects of ourselves that slip into that role). We must keep them free of wanna-be dictators, governors, order followers, label makers,

and place holders. This is a huge challenge for all of us on all levels of being. We must free ourselves from AI programming if we are to really create our new world. Our new world is not going to create itself. The truth is beckoning us to set ourselves free and step up our game. We are the ones that this vision is waiting for. If we get out of the way, our children — even the muddy, clueless ones — will be right there with us, as we individually and collectively blow the predators out of own minds. With love,

Fasting shown to regenerate stem cells, reverse immunosuppression after three days

By: Ethan A. Huff

HAT IF THE key to maintaining a vibrant immune system was simply not eating for a few days at a time twice a year? Researchers from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles say that periodic, prolonged fasting -- that is, not eating for between two and four subsequent days at a time -- not only protects against immune system damage, but it also promotes immune system regeneration, particularly in patients who are already immuno-compromised. Valter Longo, an Edna M. Jones Professor of Gerontology and the Biological Sciences at the USC Davis School of Gerontology and director of the USC Longevity Institute, looked at the effects of fasting in both mice and humans, observing that when these mammals fasted, their white blood cell counts decreased. The result was that their bodies “recycled” old immune cells, thereby triggering the production of new immune cells to replace them.

Page 22

Over time, immune cells can become worn out and stop functioning at optimal levels. It was previously believed that there wasn’t much that could be done to overcome this apart from stem cell treatments. However, this latest research shows that periodic fasting cycles actually flip some kind of regenerative switch inside the body, altering the signaling pathways for hematopoietic stem cells, which generate both blood and immunity. “We could not predict that prolonged fasting would have such a remarkable effect in promoting stem cell-based regeneration of the hematopoietic system,” stated Longo, who holds a joint appointment at the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. “When you starve, the system tries to save energy, and one of the things it can do to save energy is to recycle a lot of the immune cells that are not needed, especially those that may be damaged. What we started noticing in both our human work and animal work is that the white blood cell count goes down with prolonged fasting. Then when you re-feed, the

blood cells come back. So we started thinking, well, where does it come from?” Periodic fasting might help correct autoimmune disorders, including those brought about by vaccines While the study focused primarily on chemotherapy patients whose immune systems are ravaged by this deadly poison treatment, the implications of the study also extend to other conditions like autoimmune disorders. By triggering the production of new, undamaged immune cells, fasting might help people who suffer from what the system has long claimed are incurable medical conditions. As it turns out, prolonged fasting forces the body to use stores of glucose, fat and ketones as well as a significant portion of existing white blood cells. In essence, fasting acts as a type of detoxification, clearing out the old so it can be replaced by the new. The researchers say that the result is essentially the formation of a whole new immune system. Specifically, prolonged fasting helps reduce levels of an enzyme known as PKA,

or protein kinase A, which earlier research has found bolsters the regulation of stem cell self-renewal and pluripotency in addition to extending longevity. Prolonged fasting also helps decrease levels of IGF-1, a growth-factor hormone that’s been linked to aging, tumor progression and cancer risk. “PKA is the key gene that needs to shut down in order for these stem cells to switch into regenerative mode,” says Longo. “It gives the OK for stem cells to go ahead and begin proliferating and rebuild the entire system. And the good news is that the body got rid of the parts of the system that might be damaged or old, the inefficient parts, during the fasting. Now, if you start with a system heavily damaged by chemotherapy or aging, fasting cycles can generate, literally, a new immune system.” Sources: http://www.sciencedirect. com; Learn more: http://www.naturalnews. com/049794_stem_cells_fasting_ immune_system.html#ixzz4Z3zQ3cCM

situation. You can never go wrong if you act from a place of compassion. This is the fulcrum of change, and it starts within you. The change we all yearn to see in the world will only happen in the wake of a fundamental change in consciousness. Everything we see in this world starts in the realms of imagination before coming into manifestation. The change begins within and ripples outward. Embodying the change is the first step, the prerequisite. Without inner transformation, humanity will be stuck on the same merry-go-round of madness. When a critical mass of people create positive inner changes, it will open up doors we never could’ve imagined before and will provide possibilities far beyond our current limited perspective. Solutions will spontaneously emerge. Go within and stop the momentum of fear. Learn to listen to and trust your intuition. experience the reality around us influences our perception of it, and vice-versa. The visionary path is thus a path of experience (beyond subject-object duality), and is a stabilizing of consciousness according to the needs and requirements of each particular era. In the recent history of human civilization this potential has been open for conscious participation. Humankind has had the possibility for conscious development for many thousands of years. Largely this potential has been woefully overlooked and underused. It may be that, in its essence, the purpose of humankind is an evolutionary one in terms of conscious awareness. The visionary state – to perceive with a finer degree of conscious awareness – is an essential aspect of human life. Without overstating it, it is essential for the continued harmonious development of human civilization. At times this visionary potential has been referred to as creative imagination. It is incorrect to assume that the inner world does not require the outer world, or the other way around – each needs the other. A visionary state of awareness, as the term creative imagination implies, is an active one: it acts upon the world. Such a form of consciousness actively engages with the physical, material world. It is not an ascetic or monkish affair. Just as the pre-modern shamans were/are the doctor/guide/elder for their community, so does the visionary path require of us that we actively use our creative consciousness for the betterment of our human societies. To put it bluntly, you could say that it’s not more incense that we need but more inner sense. Often, people take their own absence of experience as proof of its absence or absurdity. People incapable of judgments on such matters should refrain from making them. As part of the preparation toward the visionary state one works with relative truth and understanding – this is the case for the majority of us today. We begin to step along the visionary path from the perspective of relative truth. The visionary path is known by various names, some

In one of its earliest forms, the word courage meant ‘To speak one’s mind by telling all one’s heart.’” ~Brene Brown Compliance with destruction, hatred, oppression, violence and fear is cowardice, while noncompliance is courageous. In the depths of your being, in your heart of hearts, you know what is right. Choose love over fear. Have the courage of heart and freedom of mind to disobey oppressive forces. Be the change.

more prominent than others, depending upon the location and the era in which it is operating. Another long-standing name is the perennial path, or perennial tradition, to which I shall turn to in my next article on this subject. The visionary path to selfdevelopment can begin when the following criteria are met: i) a recognition of one’s situation and the need for self-development; ii) a partial detachment from one’s social and cultural conditioning and external influences; and iii) making the first step toward one’s own liberty and inner freedom. Once a person has recognized their need for self-development they can then begin to do ‘work on oneself’ by gradually de-conditioning their social personality (the persona). A person’s social personality is generally created from layer upon layer of artificial constructions, mental frameworks, and emotional baggage. In other words, a person begins to methodically de-clutter their personality. Then, and only then, can a conscious step be taken toward their inner freedom and genuine liberty. For the visionary state of consciousness to emerge – to become activated – the old consciousness patterns must first be loosened. That is, for the old patterns to become less determined, dogmatic and fixed. Then through this space, where old belief patterns have left their moorings, can new perceptions emerge. As this process gradually unfolds it is important that people remain grounded in the world – in their everyday lives – and not to entertain themselves with amusing fantasies or unwarranted intoxications. An important feature of the visionary path is that it is harmonious, balanced, and in equilibrium. If at any time a person does not feel connected to these states, then they may not be engaged with a genuine source of developmental potential. Humanity’s greatness is not in what it has achieved, nor what it is, but in what it can become. [i] See previous essay ‘The Interior Life’ –
