How do you feel when you travel to another country and you do not understand the language at all? Fortunately, I had someone at my side who translated and made me aware of what was happening around me. Our journey began in Vienna at the Südtiroler Platz from where we took a six-hour bus ride to Novi Sad, Serbia. Actually, it is not so far away and besides, a trip to my hometown in Carinthia also takes me five hours by car to get there. So close, but nevertheless there are some differences that make the three places unique.
During my stay in Serbia I got in touch with great people and learned much about the country by gaining new impressions. There is still a lot I need to see and explore to get to know the different facets of this interesting country and its people. There is nothing better than a journey back there. I am already curious what it will look like in summer.
