ALMOST 2,000,000 REFUGEES IN JORDAN “When you bring your own joy, you make anywhere the happiest place on earth”
Never in all my life have I seen “people from another faith” so receptive to the good news. It has been the most rewarding season of my life to see such hope rise from the midst of a tragedy. We got to see sons and daughters come home, the sick healed and many encounter the love of God and openly receive the message we carried. Some quotes we heard often were, “I now know that Jesus loves me and my family” or “nobody else has come to help us, the only ones are the christians and we see and feel your love.” Love looks like something! It looks like stoping for the one in front of us, and that is what we did. We visited the extremely poor homes of the refugees in the villages and cities of Jordan. We got to do a big feeding program with the local church but we also got the awesome opportunity to spend a lot of time in darkest of places. Za-atari camp is home to over 160,000 refugees and growing by the thousands daily. It has gangs, drugs, prostitution and murder. We got to sit with many families in their tents and hear their horrific and traumatic stories and then be able to release the peace of God and share the good news. Many lives were transformed in what is called the worst refugee camp in the middle east. I believe we are on the brake of a revival that will change a nation and release a move across the middle east. His love will be known in here! Much more to come. Flying to Mozambique tomorrow to help raise up a generation of laid down lovers. Stay connected, there will be more to come. To donate or become a partner, check out the website below.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
