· Behavioral Categories

As you make the unqualified commitment by confessing Jesus as your lord, and believing that God raised him from the dead, you are saved; you are born again of God’s spirit [Ro 10:9-10]. You are a son/daughter of God having Christ in you [Ro.8:16; Col.1:27]; that’s you have the seed of God in Christ born within, and this seed, this gift of holy spirit in you, is eternal life [Ro.6:23; I John 5:11-13]. So, “God in Christ in You” is our relationship with God as His sons/daughters; sealed by His spirit and grounded in His love [Eph.1:13; 3:17]. A born again belongs to God’s Kingdom [John 3:3, 7; Eph 2:19; 1 Peter 1:23], and therefore should walk according to the rules and regulations of that Kingdom [1 John 2:6]. “You in Christ in God” is our fellowship with God; it is walking in the steps of our Lord Jesus Christ [1 Peter 2:20-24], our Savior and model. That what is called “walking in fellowship” or walking in communion with the Lord. For this to happen you need to renew your mind and be a truly new creature [Ro. 12:2; Col. 3:5-10]; it is the responsibility of the believer. On the grounds of Jesus’ accomplishments and complete victory, man has today a legal right to salvation. Once born-again of God’s spirit, you have sonship rights (redemption, justification, righteousness, sanctification and ministry of reconciliation) and other legal rights for you to claim, such as the rights to: eternal life; victory over all sin and the consequences of sin; citizenship in heaven; the power of Attorney to use the name of Jesus; the Father’s protection, care and guidance; be gathered together with Christ when he will return; an inheritance in the new heaven and the new earth; etc. These are a gift of grace. So walk worthy of your calling; and beware, wolves! [Acts 20:29] Sins of Sexual Attitude and Behavior (Colossians 3:5)

Knowing that Christians are in the world but are not of the world [Jn.17:15-17], they are instructed by God to think soberly and to not be conformed to this world [Ro.12:1-3] because the world is currently under the leadership of the adversary [2 Co 4:4; 1 Jn. 5:19]. Christians have to put off the old man with his sinful nature, and put on the new man [Col 3:9-10] and walk in the steps of Jesus Christ. As members of the household of God, we have a code of conduct to adhere to and to follow [1 Tim.3:15; Col.3:12-14; 2Tim.2:19-22]. Let the peace of God rule in your heart and live peaceably with all men [Ro.12:17-21; Col 3:25]; let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, exercise love, pray without ceasing and walk in wisdom [Col.3:16—4:1-2, 5].
