FROM PLAN TO VOID EXPOSITIVE GALLERY

This exercise seeks to bring as a part of an experimental workshop, the duality in the textile, ceramic or gold works of prehinca cultures. Seeking to achieve with this through addition, extrusion, sutraction, and many other actions to interact with the mass, a volumetric element that represents this textile. A ceramic work of the Paracas culture is chosen, where it is graphed and shows the work of hunting and slaughtering of seabirds prevailing in the territory in the extension of this culture. Volumetry is achieved with the suction of 20 flat planes, allowing the vacuum to form the image perceptually. After this it was requested to host samples of this culture in an exhibition gallery in Pachacamac. In this one opts for a descending circulation where through a parametric faรงade, different views are framed as one passes from the entrance to the main hall in the lower bound. The entire route is connected through a void that allows to see the rock on which the project is mounted on the hill. Finally, when one arrives at the main hall at the lower level, one finds a large esplanade in which, at the end of the route, one ascends through another lateral vertical circulation that forms a solid element, exemplifying the firmness and power of this culture.

URBAN REGENERATION EL PLATANAL DE ASIA

This exercise seeks to bring as part of a much more rational workshop, the urban regeneration of a district to the south of Lima completely depleted and with a very small population. This place is strategic since it is a piece that as it consolidates the south sector of lima, this is a point of transition between the Pan-American highway south and the east zone of valley. Currently there are key areas as part of this project, which will be developed with an individual program for this small town to become a powerful center with a lot of activity. Of these key places are the coliseum of roosters, which will be repotenciará but not for a sports use but as a place of activities for children as center of projections of outdoor films; The sports triangle, which will be rehabilitated with a soccer field and nursery with public hygiene services; The market of supplies, which will intervene completely since at the moment there is only one atrium and hygienic services in bad condition. This will enable training workshops, as well as temporary sales modules and a restaurant with cafeteria. On the other hand a nursery is proposed for the sale and promotion of the products of the area, as well as a viewpoint for future tourists. Finally, at the end of the village, it is proposed to build a chapel with a library and study rooms as well as a room for the rest of the officiants of the mass who are traveling on weekends.

HYBRID BUILDING

HOUSING+ OFFICE + SHOPPING + CULTURE

The exercise of the workshop seeks to propose a hybrid building in the district of San Isidro in Camino Real street. This is one of those that has more flow of people working in the financial center or people living in the surroundings, as well as vehicles towards the heart of the district with predominance of a high and young social sector. Strategies are used mainly of public platforms, such as citizen meeting spaces, which exploit the thresholds between the building and the city through large scenarios where the architectural and spatial dynamics of the interior of the project are mixed with urban situations and conditions Of the urban and social context. As well as the use of interstitial spaces that is the connection by connection of activities, where between the different sectors and environments of the building there is a pragmatic instability, an intermediate space for varied and random encounters. The building is formed on a commercial base of 3 levels to which it is accessed by means of a ludic place for greater attraction to the sector and which has a lateral access, for a less traveled street for the houses and a frontal access to the offices. The arrangement of the floors of the house is fundamental since it is formed by modules that are duplicated and stacked in such a way that the roof of one serves as a terrace for the upper floor. On the other hand each tower has bridges with relaxation spaces and an independent intermediate one that is accessed from the interior of the commercial base for greater control.

EXPOSITIVE PAVILLION

ERROR 404.- Error 404 refers to a virtual search that could not be completed due to a failure or error in a system. 4: Indicates that what is being searched for is not available or does not exist 0: Indicates an error by the sender and 4: Indicates a restricted accessibility problem. The rehabilitation and completion of the consolidated city emerge as one of the most coherent urban strategies in the current difficult context. Cities age because urban materiality has its expiration dates and infrastructures, with the appearance of more efficient technologies, are obsolete. In addition, each generation receives as a legacy a city conceived by the former according to their needs, which no longer match the new ones. But where is the architect? What is your role in this permanent remodeling of the city that we have inherited?

UNIVERSIDAD EUROPEA DE MADRID COMPETITION

ERROR 404 seeks to show the roles played by the architect in society. Look for gaps caused by the absence of this and the problems that can generate a bad intervention of him in the system. We want to show society the great Variety of fields where the architect works. Mainly his work of “sewing” the fabric that in micro-scale helps to each individual in particular and to macro-scale it potters a better development of the society. A lot is chosen because it is a free land that has all the necessary services to become an active space and capable of housing buildings immediately. Likewise, it represents an imprint, an inheritance; A place that symbolizes precisely the absence of the architect. With this exhibition project will symbolize this same, how the intervention of the students of the European University reverberates in society, restoring the urban profile that has been so for a long time, showing in it the work of the student of his Faculty of architecture and giving to know that the best we are.

TECH-MADRID TOWARDS A NEW PERIPHERY

TECH MADRID seeks to consolidate itself in the outskirts of madrid, in the district of vallecas, as a response and solution to uncontrolled growth in them, occupying vacant ground caused by this same. It is to be the focus of the technological development of madrid, since this is on the way To be, like many other global cities, a leader in this development. On the other hand, it hopes that this will be part and parcel of the creation of a system of FABL LAB like Barcelona. This is only the first step towards the formation of a new Sillicon valley or a Barcelona 22 @, not only a technological cluster but also the center of a future Smart City. The center of this new centrality is organized around a set of actions in a radial way that consolidate the space between the UPM’s Campus South and the rest of the span of Vallecas, extended by a set of powerful linear activities that serve the whole. Throughout this there are open public spaces with modules for the interaction of the pedestrian with the users of the project, continuing this towards the historic center. Also has as integrating element the great Technological Center, which will house laboratories, test rooms, etc. This also seeks a relationship with the street, having different types of local commerce to supply its users and external. On the other hand, the Center for Biomedical Innovation, which deals with a relationship between the technology park and the Hospital Infanta Leonor, is proposed. With a projection of great growth in the technological sector and becoming more important, there is also the Convention Center for future large conferences and world forums. Due to this is also a hotel located near this, complemented by a strip mall on the first floor. To finish generating and closing the cycle of activities in the area, there is a residential area for users of the technology center and others, ensuring life on the street at all hours, not as currently only occurs in times of work.

CAMDEN 2.0 HACIA UNA NUEVA PERIFERIA

The center for the camden town satrups aims to be a seedbed of these as the big companies that emerge after them as they exist in sillicon valley. This is located in a neighborhood with a very dynamic and young character. In this one it differs much in its interior distribution the zone of residence with the one of work, forcing the starters to have a cyclical work cycle in which they awake, produce and coexist in this dynamic environment. On the other hand, the visual connection between the pedestrian and the users is sought, establishing public spaces with a view to the interior of the center and overlooking the street as well as the canal. The medium scale of edficiio forms a new screen to the ways of the train and serving like new space of public character next to the channel. The shape of the building responds to the breaks of the train line, following in an aerial and pedestrian view its profile although the lines are not used, they represent an iconic element in the place with the Camden Lock logo. On the other hand in the arches of the train track will be used as nuclei for study of both the users of the building and citizens as it is public access. It is important to differentiate my point of view from the area of residence of the work because it establishes clear guidelines on the time that should be devoted to each as well as leisure spaces.

BARRANCO THE CITY FROM THE MARKET PLACE

Programme Bach.Arch

Year 2016

In the three blocks to work there is a physical condition that allows the current permeability. However, it is limited due to various causes such as the excessive occupation of cars in the streets, inactivity in certain public spaces and the lack of character in this place, despite having buildings with relevant activities that congregate different users. At the architectural level, there is a catalytic building of activities such as the Barranco Market No. 1, respecting its heritage, reordering its programmatic order and redesigning its interior architecture in order to link it with the exterior and in this way generate an iconic building That identifies all the users of the district through common activities under one roof. Â The cells that make up the market are the modules or stalls. Here is a compendium of the different types of modules that we propose in the market. Each of these responds to specific needs of the vendors. We combine basic measures, proposing different levels for different activities in a single module and we experiment with its spatiality.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

The project for the Primary Education Center is based on a clear structural logic: two rectangular blocks arranged in parallel, connected by transition elements. The structure of the building was designed with the aim of simplifying and modulating, as well as the flexibility of the spaces. Therefore, the structure composing the blocks is placed on the periphery and the environment is lowered so as to be adapted and modified independently. Therefore, the structure provides both regularity and unity to the whole, as it allows for the diversity of roof heights and seals, thus ensuring rationality and diversity, essential principles for a public work like this. The program is distributed according to a general hierarchy of its functions, a transition from more public spaces to get more private. In the first, where the main access is provided, it is found in the most common and most easily accessible environments, such as administration, court and the public. In the second, all the laboratories and classrooms. The space between the two blocks acts as a mediator between its functions, as a complement to the services on the floor and as a joint on the first floor. To form the central courtyard, the center of coordination of activities and where is the largest to be among students. Now covered, now discovered, space does not demarcate fixed activities, but it could receive in an open and spontaneous way.

GASTRONÓMIC MARKET AT SURQUILLO REMODELING AND ENLARGEMENT

The project is a meeting point that merges the exchange of products with the diffusion of national gastronomy to reach a tourist sector, which seeks to reactivate and power an unfavorable area conditioned by the expressway but taking advantage of the growing gastronomic activity of the area , Through new complementary activities. E is based on the concept of traditional market places because it is municipal retail and uses the sense of travel, experience and satisfaction provided by a shopping center. In the last fifteen years there has been a spectacular gastronomic boom in Peru. This has shown the great potential of gastronomy as the motor of development and protagonist of the process of productive diversification. We seek advice and training for the remodeling of the No. 1 Market in Surquillo, making it a center of attraction for gastronomic tourism. The APEGA “Lima as a Gastronomic Capital of Latin America to 2021” project seeks to make Lima a top gastronomic destination and gastronomic capital of the region, creating gastronomic routes and with the consolidation of a gastronomic market oriented to tourists To growing demand, with a local reach.
